I was pleasantly surprised as to the cleanliness inside and out. Given it is an old building the renovations were modern and very nicely decorated. We stayed in the suite on the 2nd floor, full kitchen and plenty of room. It was supplied with essential needs, better than many hotels I've stayed in.The small courtyard, shaded by a large oak, water fountains,plants and flowers and well lit at night was so peaceful. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants but out of the main hub. I would definitely go again!

I won't necessarily say I didn't like the slightly slanted floors and some uneven walkways, it added to the historic charm. Once you know where to look out for it's easy to navigate. The seating in the courtyard could be better. It consisted of adrondick chairs and cast iron chairs. Cloth or cushioned chairs would be better

The Inn is adorable and quiet. Off street parking. Very good location to walk to downtown. The court yard is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and a good book if you need a break from all the walking around. The owners are very personable and welcoming. It was a great place for a solo traveler as it felt very safe. And the beds are amazing!

The stairs going to the upstairs suites are steep and high. If you have a lot of luggage, it can be a struggle. It’s a great work out but may not be the best option for anyone with mobility issues. They will not stop me from staying here again, I’ll just pack lighter. 😊

The location of the Inn is just two blocks from downtown Mt. Dora. We drove all around the area and had an easy time getting through town and back to the Inn. There’s covered parking available and Tony’s Chowder is next door which is open for lunch.

There are two beds and a daybed but the mattress on the daybed is so worn in that it bowed, making it very uncomfortable. I switched the mattress with the trundle for the second night which was better but still not comfortable.

The location is amazing as you can walk to everything downtown Mt. Dora has to offer. Rooms are quiet and clean -- our room was facing the street and even though it was a Saturday night, there was no street noise. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. They went above and beyond as I had dropped my hat in the parking lot, and the housekeeper found it. The owner looked at the cameras to figure out whose hat it was, and then called me and told me they had found it and where I could retrieve it. Exceptionally kind!!!!

Be forewarned that this is a vintage inn and the rooms are quaint. (That said, we thought the room was charming and we chose this property for the prime location.)

Location, price, historic. I love older lodges and inns, and this met those expectations. Nicely located near everything downtown — walkable. For the price, this was a nice property. Property host was very pleasant and helpful.

Nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom (except one hook), even though there is apt space for more hooks or towel rod (Room #1). Our closet/cupboard listed to one side, coffee maker didn’t make hot water, and toilet needs to be repaired so that loud vibrational noise doesn’t occur. We were able to fix the latter by shutting off the toilet water valve.

The Heirloom Inn was very clean, well furnished, and within walking distance of most shops and restaurants in downtown Mount Dora. We parked, stayed 2 nights and didn't drive anywhere until we left for home. Nothing fancy and not a B&B, but we enjoyed our stay very much.

Bathtub drain was slow. Likely just needs a little maintenance.

Clean, comfortable, charming historic place equipped with anything you may need from blankets to coffeemaker, microwave and fridge. Easy walking distance to main street shops and restaurants. Guest parking provided and a comfortable shared space rear patio with chairs, tables, waterfall fountains and a gazebo!!

Lovely location! What a sweet little spot and an excellent value for the money. The check-in process could not have been easier, and we could walk everywhere in Mount Dora. We were sorry to leave! Hoping to be back with more friends.

The house is older (a historic property). Therefore, some of the internal workings of the home are a little noisy at night (plumbing, AC). This wasn’t a big deal to us, and we would absolutely stay there again.

Loved the location , walking 🚶‍♀️ distance from the town! It was really nice , clean .Very cozy!! My kids loved it and the history of the Inn. Would stay there again absolutely!

The only thing that would be better if there was more hanging hooks in the bathroom or even a small bench to put your clothes on, a few more clean towels would have been great. Also the closet was lop sided but no biggie on that

The property is nice, no pool, no front desk, only a number to call if you need something. We paid $475 for 2 nights which I believe is a bit pricey. Room 6 is nice for a couple. It’s a block from downtown which is good. If you are into no services and no contact with anyone, this is your place.
