Before my trip I had many questions and the hotel response all of them. Also the helpful staff perfectly organized for the airport shuttle service and the local activities. Location is great, in the middle of downtown and uptown. Junior Suites are located in the annex and is not accessible via the main building but it is just 10-20 meters distance and the annex is really quite. Lastly, special thanks to Camila, she was very helpful. I'll definetely stay here in my next visit!

Amazing place, location, food, staff, junior suite. Fantastic visit. Breakfasts and both restaurantsfood were great, as was service, thank you.
Suite in separate building to main (with hotel facilities, bar, restaurants, spa/sauna), not stated when booking. Separate building across car park, up small flight of steps, no lift. Lugging luggage not so good. Coats and spikes on and off to go between buildings. Spa &sauna required bookings. No problem, just heads up. Minor compared to whole experience of Svalbard, but knowing these facts when booking would have been helpful when choosing room.

If I were served the same breakfast in the center of Berlin, I’d be praising the rich and wide variety of food available every morning. But when you get such an amazing breakfast at the northernmost hotel in the world, it simply takes your breath away. Additionally, each morning, you get an incredible view of the bay and nearby hills from the warmth of the hotel restaurant. The hotel also has a bar open until late at night, where they also serve food. The staff was truly exceptional! I’d compare them to golden retrievers - no matter the time of day, they were always smiling, enthusiastic, and communicative whenever I visited the reception. They possess excellent local knowledge, so they can practically answer any question and go out of their way to ensure your satisfaction. In front of the hotel, there’s a small parking lot where you can park for free, but it mainly serves as a pickup spot if you’ve booked one of the adventure activities. I hope I’ll get a chance to return to Svalbard someday and stay here again.

First time to Longyearben! We had heard that some of the suites were in an annex adjacent to the main hotel building, while not terrible did mean you had to rug up each time you wanted to dine in the resturant or have a drink, and you needed to get your luggage to your room also. When enquired it would be preferable to be within the hotel building, and requested a mountain view room, we were so happy that all requests were accomodated. Our room 12 was a corner room overlooking the mountains, the view was spectacular! The one bedroom suite was roomy, the double bed exchanged for 2 single beds was cosy and comfortable. The little loungeroom sofa was comfy, and was nice to be able to unwind and relax! The bathroom and amenities were great, the bathroom cosy and warm. The air conditiining took a little to master adjusting to correct temperature, reception staff happy to help to ensure working. The sauna was easy to book a time slot, while public did not really detract from enjoying the sauna, we didn't use the hot tub. We dined in the restuarant for dinner on our first night which was very nice, overlooking the mountains was just another fabulous backdrop! Local beer and pub food in the bar was equally lovely and a nice snug atmospere! Our 5 day holiday in Longyearben was nothing short of amazing, and our accomodation fantastic! ...just an added note, cleats for your shoes will be your best friend on the ice 😃!!

Super friendly and helpful staff Great location near the main street Cosy rooms and comfy beds Whole table of gluten free foods at the breakfast
Improvement points: - The vegetable choices at the breakfast were very poor compared to mountains of unhealthy egg/sausage choices (only not so tasty salad leaves, tomato and paprika practically) - The bathtub drain was stuck a bit and the bathtub also leaking underneath - the sauna+jacuzzi were closed for almost all our stay due to Longyearbyen wide water bacteria issues...apparently there is a floating sauna at the harbour which stayed open since it has no showers. Considering the high price we paid for one night, a voucher would have been a nice gesture.

Breakfast was excellent and available for a few hours. Unfortunately, the rooms could not be adjacent to each other as the "family" room was in a near-by buillding. All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We are grateful that many staff members gave up their own holiday celebrations to serve us. It was much appreciated. The restaurant staff were particularly kind and helpful while we celebrated a child´s birthday. They went out of their way to make it alll work. Thanks!
The 10% discount for Radisson members was not available to us because we booked via Booking.com. That was understandable. But when I asked for the discount for restaurant service when I was checking out, they informed me that the discount could only. be applied when I signed the restaurant bill, not later.

Nice location and great view from our rooms. Got to experience the midnight sun right in the window - no problems sleeping as the room is equipped with dark curtains. Good beds and a coffee machine in the room are a big plus. We had a 5-night stay - and are satisfied with the breakfast, the service from cleaning and the reception staff. In our booking we asked for rooms close to each other and we got it. We are very satisfied with our stay and can recommend the hotel.

The hotel is ideally located, close to the "shopping mile" where you can find everything, and is very nice and cosy with a nice restaurant and a lovely pub. Breakfast selection in the morning is very varied. The staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. The new years eve menu was delicious and they were really dedicated to make the guests enjoy their evening. I truly enjoyed my stay here and thank you to the staff for their great work.
Considering that the hotel is located in a really rough spot, basically at one end of the world, everything is pretty nice, welcoming and they do their best. Only minor things: The two single beds, which were put together, would have to be held together better, otherwise you would involuntarily push the beds apart at night😅 and the rooms could need a little update like repainting the doors etc. and maybe it was on me but I think a little leaflet regarding the Sauna/jacuzzi in the rooms would be a nice to have.

Great location and everything is within walking distance. Especially the museums which are right in front of the hotel and worth a visit. Excellent staff who were all friendly and amazing in the number of different languages they could speak. Food at breakfast was also fantastic with lots of choices, recommend a coffee and doughnut! Book a slot in the jacuzzi the view is incredible
Not a negative but as others have said if booking a suite these are in another building so get used to putting your shoes and winter clothes on and off when going to the main building

The Radisson is in a great location at the end/start of the main street. It is an easy stroll into town, with many eatery options within a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast is amazing with plenty of options and well stocked. On arrival checking was very easy, and checkout the same. Staff were always willing and ready to help. We booked our tours through reception and they were very helpful. The accommodation was comfortable but smaller than expected.
We found the room temperature was very warm, so we opened the window to sleep better in the night. It would be helpful if there was a side table next to the bed to place a glass of water. We found the bathroom would be better if it had somewhere to place your things and hang 2 towels, but was lovely and clean and modern.
