The hotel is located at the beach - you just need to cross the small local road. It has its own umbrellas and beds. There is also a small pool in the middle, with kids section. The family one-room apartment was really nice, with great view at the pool and the sea. It had small, but normal fridge with freezing part included. Everything was very clean and well organized. It's family run and all the staff were very polite. We had an early morning flight and arrive there just when the breakfast was finished, but they offered us free coffee and water.

It's little isolated, there are similar buildings still under construction around. We had a car, I am not sure if there was any bus stop nearby. We were there for one night only, so didn't bother, but if you decide to stay a week or longer - it's good to know it in advance.

OUR STAY WAS EXCELLENT! Edward and his staff were so friendly, polite and helpful since our arrival, always checking that everything was running smoothly. Breakfast was great! Everything was so fresh. Our room was big, with a big bed, overlooking the pool and a balcony with beach view. You can park right at the front, normally there are spots available, if not on the street is also fine. Maleme has a cute city centre, much quieter than Chania, we would definitely choose this location one more time.

The only negative thing we've noticed was that the water of the shower was going everywhere because the glass door was not in front of it, was on the side. Apart from this, everything was perfect.

The location is fantastic with sea views, the owners and staff are very welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained, along with the pool. GT Beach is a great place if you are looking for a place to chill by the pool or beach, this is the place for you. Although GT Beach is on a strip of other hotels, it is apart from the rest so you have the feeling of separation from the crowds while being in a location that is central to all the amenities you would ever want ie: Bars, Restaurants, shops and of course Beaches...

I did only have 2 days at GT Beach, but I liked it. There were thick madrasses on the sun beds. A huge plus. Normally there are no madrasses. Also I really like it, because it was very relaxed there. The people working there are so sweet. The breakfast was with good variety from day to day and they were quickly filling up with food and taking used dishes away. So there is never missing anything at breakfast. 👍Also my room was huge and the balcony too. I had view to the sea and mountains. Lovely. Big sized pool. Near my favourite restaurant Menta. 😉Also I like it in Maleme, because It's not to crowded with tourists. And if you wanna go to Chania and Platanias and other villages, busses are easy to take. I just wonder, why the hotel is only a 1 star. The breakfast here was better than what I had on a 3 star hotel earlier on my vacation. 🤔Also when you take a shower, you can totally close the doors. Normally there would be water all over the bathroom floor, because the curtain does'nt reach all down to the floor.

I really can't think of anything

The staff were exceptional esp Edward at the reception. The room I booked was inadequate for us three, and he found a room that was more appropriate for us. It was a nice gesture from the resort. This room was mer modern than the previous one we had, and quite closer to the breakfast room as well as the parking lot. And the room had a water cooker, though was not able to use it. The breakfast buffet was adequate for me.

The sewage smell from the WC and the coffee machine, it took a while to get coffee as there was 1 machine, and it was quite slow.

A great location, right on the seashore. The seabed is almost entirely sandy, so you don't need swimming shoes to go for a swim. Very pleasant staff, delicious, albeit simple, breakfast. There are excellent taverns and shops nearby. Clean and tidy pool, beautiful surroundings. An excellent hotel and resort for relaxing with babies. We will definitely be back. Excellent value for money.

The rooms need renovation. It would also be useful to have a kettle in the room.

The location, the place and the people were very nice. The pool was a plus, with nice children toys, as the see was quite strong because of winds. The flat itself was very nice and modern.

Not much, only that the floor was dirty and the room not really clean when we arrived, but the second day they came to clean it. It also would have been nice to have a water boiler in the room. but they have a cafe place just woukd have been better to have something like this or coffee at hand.

Double bed was big and comfortable (180 cm). Breakfast was simple, but satisfying. The staff (Maria&Maria) who were cooking the food was super nice and welcoming, they made us feel like home through out the stay. Some time the neflix wasn’t working properly. The fan in the bathroom was a bit loud, the fans were touching the case a bit. It was nice to have a small fridge and a small kettle in the room.

The staff was beyond perfect. The location was great. It was very close to the beach , some restaurants, and some markets. Also close to bus station.You have a spacious parking if you are renting a car. The pool was clean and spacious. The food/breakfast was tasty and had varieties. The sunbeds in the pool and beach were comfy .Overall , it was great . Shout out to Edouard , the receptionist/manager who was brilliant and made our stay amazing.

There is nothing to not like about the place, but I wish the wi-fi was better , faster, and more stable.

Proximity of the resort - close to the sea ad well as to restaurants and shops. Receptionist Edward was helpsome and knowledeable of his work bonus at he spoke good English. The cleaning lady was friendly and honest. The place was quiet during our stay. Breakfast was ok.

There was no water cooker in the room, it could be much better if there was one there.
