We really enjoyed our short stay here! Staff was super nice and friendly, especially Areti from reception was just great! Very nice facilities, pool and slides, kids club and bars. Cocktails were very tasty and good selection. Food was good (especially desserts), and we really liked a la carte restaurant. Beach is only in 5 minutes walk. We had junior suite with private pool, the room was big and in quiet location. And hotel dog was just a blast for our kid :)

This all-inclusive/ premium all-inclusive concept was a bit confusing, and I didn't see it mentioned either here on Booking.com or on the website. When I go to all-inclusive hotel I expect everything to be included, but here I always bumped into something which was included only for premium all-inclusive (for example special coffees). Also, the beach had only sunbeds, but no service at all. I would not call it a 5-star hotel as it is rated here. I mean, it was very nice, but not 5-star. Also no coffee/tea at main restaurant for lunch / dinner was a bit irritating. You could always get those from the bar, but if you are lazy, you just eat your delicious dessert with wine.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Solimar Aquamarine! Our family stayed in a room with a private pool and it was a great choice. The food was good, the drinks included in the all inclusive package were great too, including beer, local wines and cocktails, Pina Colada and Tequila Sunrise being my favorites. Speaking of the hotel staff - the people who work at the hotel were very nice! All our requests were resolved very quickly. The hotel is not close to Chania, but the buss stop is really close, 2 EUR per person to get to Chania.

Breakfast choice was exceptional. Variety and quality of fresh and cooked food beyond our expectations. Our junior suite was larger than we expected. All rooms looked big. Close to the beach 4 mins. Entertainment at night. Bus stops outside the hotel. Bus ( good drivers and quality) to Chania every 20 mins. Only 2 euro to Chania. Journey time 30 mins. Last bus back 11:30 pm. Plantanias nearby busy at night. 5 mins away towards Chania on the bus. We loved Acqa the Hotel Dog rescue dog. A reason to go backl!!!

We disliked nothing. Could not find any fault. The Hotel Dog was a hit. Well behaved and knew not to come into the food areas. Excellent guard dog. I understand he is about six years old and was a rescue dog, We became friends. He understands English Greek and Polish !!!

Amazing place and exceptional atmosphere - My family’s favorite place in Crete. Calm and relaxing place with Good location close to the local beach and an ideal starting point if you would like to travel around and visit the most beautiful places and beaches in Crete. Perfect hospitality from the start: local wine, soft drinks and fruits for welcome in the room. Extremely qualified staff on the reception – Miss Erin she always knows how to help you and provide additional details about everything you may ask her. Big thanks to the whole team of Solimar Aquamarine and special THANKS to Miss Erin from the reception, for her best in class support! Delicious food with excellent quality and good variety, including local specialties and domestic wines. Always smiling face of Krista who is a pool bartender and preparing our cold summer cocktails. I would like to visit Crete again mainly because of this hotel and awesome service they have

- The superior suite with the private pool was superb! Very spacious, clean, and secluded. - All staff were very polite and willing to assist with everything we requested. Especially Areti and Dina at the reception upgraded our room, arranged a transfer to the beach with a golf kart (500m distance - my wife is pregnant), and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and pleasant. - The deserts at the buffet were delicious.

- Not enough umbrellas at the main pool area. Residents did not adhere to the hotel rules and left towels for hours to secure umbrellas/sunbeds. Staff did not remove towels as per the hotel rules. Sometimes hard to find umbrellas/sunbeds.

The hotel is one of the best place in Crete. The reception staff was very helpful and offered to us an upgraded room with private pool free of charge even though we booked a standard room. The restaurant offer a large selection of different dishes and in our stay we didn’t eat the same thing twice. They also offer to us a bottle of red wine and some fruits in the room in the first day. Cleaning is also very good. We highly recommend this place and we considered the best value for money.

It was not more clearly indicated that there is ultra all inclusive and regular all inclusive which is a bit deceptive

We booked this hotel for one week with a private swimming pool. The room was excellent, with a very kind cleaning lady who prepared the room and changed towels every day. The breakfast was okay with limited options, lunch was great and dinner was also okay with limited food. The entertainment only the last night live international music was fantastic. Overall, a very comfortable place to relax for a week

Entertainment could be better. The all inclusive drinks are limited and could improve.

Overall the quality of the room was great. The private pool was a nice touch and cleanliness and service was great. The staff were amazing really attentive and friendly. The food was above average, however it was very samey and sometimes a little overcooked and bland. But there were some dishes that were exceptional. The al a carte restaurant was incredible.

There aren’t any major complaints at all. Just that the food could have a bit more flavour and variety. And please… get a better all inclusive beer! 😂
