I had a very good stay at this hotel. I found the staff (at check-in and breakfast) to be friendly and very helpful. A tip for future visitors would be to learn some Spanish. I can speak a little, which helped when checking in and getting a feel for the place (eg. location in relation to local attractions, parking, breakfast and so on). My room was very comfortable, clean and well presented and appointed. The layout of the hotel was interesting (quirky). My room had a small 'ante-room' attached, where you could sit and relax, or eat, if you wanted to. In the morning, this was opened up and became part of the dining area for breakfast. On that topic, the breakfast was good. Typical Spanish offering of eggs with chorizo. There was toast and juice too. All was tasty and of a good standard. Next to my room there was a small kitchen, where you could make yourself coffee, tea, eat cake or get water. A nice touch I thought. I was travelling by motorcycle and was able to park right outside the hotel for free. Bonus! I knew about this after enquiring with the hotel before my stay. Communication with the hotel was good. They were prompt in replying to any questions and provided good information, when needed. The hotel was located very close (maybe a five minute walk) to the centre of Astorga.

My only small gripe is the lack of soundproofing. The hotel could be a bit noisy with people moving around the building, talking etc. Not a major issue and I'm not suggesting that people shouldn't move or talk. Take some ear plugs.

Fabulous breakfast including tasty omelet served by a nice lady, friendly stuff, location, early check-in, and very spacious room.

The facility seems old but well renovated. The only issue was a noise from the upstairs, especially at the use of bathroom (probably thin floor?). The decoration of the room and the entire hotel was a little inconsistent (such as floral print and gingham check, etc.) , so better taste and consistency make the property look even more attractive.

A little slice of heaven while walking the Camino. The staff were lovely, the room and bathroom were luxury, the bed was enormous and very comfortable and the location was near to the cathedral without being disturbed by the bells. Access to tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day was a nice touch. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit, toast and eggs, delicious and well set up for another day’s walking. Highly recommended, thank you!

I couldn’t fault it.

This is such a cute hotel. It is thoughtfully designed and clean, and is one of the best places we stayed at on the Camino. There were complimentary snacks and tea, and we used the laundry service for 10 eu.

The only improvement I can think of is that some felt or silicone bumpers could be installed on the bathroom and room doors so that they would close more quietly. This is a very inexpensive and quick solution that would make this place perfect!

Excellent stay on the Camino. Very nice & elegant room with comfortable bed. Outdoor terrace. Small kitchen with microwave, coffee/tea & cookies. And an excellent host. I told her that I would miss the 7:30am breakfast because I planned to leave at 6:30am. That evening she brought me a big ham, egg & cheese bocadillo and an orange and a muffin…because she wanted me to have something to eat in the morning! So kind! I really appreciated that. She also allowed me to store my backpack at the hotel on the day I arrived…because I arrived early before my room was ready.

Fabulous place. Breakfast included. High quality finishes. All the comforts of home and more. Bed, pillows, sheets, towels, all were great. Great lighting, mirrors, seating, and outlets. Lots of outdoor balconies. Private kitchen on each floor with snacks, tea, coffee, water, milk included. They haven’t missed a detail. By far the best place we stayed on the Camino in 22 days. Did I mention how immaculate the room and bathroom is? I can’t say enough about Wendy. Great service, nice breakfast, wonderful place to stay. If you need a rest day, take it here.

Absolutely wonderful stay. We arrived an hour before check-in time and were waiting on the sidewalk and they let us check in early. The room was beautiful, AC was cold and the bed was so comfortable. We wanted to leave really early in the morning to continue on our Camino and the host even prepared a breakfast for us to take on the way out. A+++

We were greeted with warmth and invited to a very clean and comfortable room with a private bath and a bathtub with lots of towels. What a luxury for a pilgrim on the Camino! The floor shared a fully stocked kitchen with coffee, tea, snacks and candy. This is a must stay in Astorga. I told the owner we would skip breakfast so we can leave early and she insisted she would get up even earlier to cook for us. I can’t imagine anyone else getting treated better in the whole city.

Such a quaint place to stay. It was a very lovely respite on our Camino and was one of our splurges. We stayed 2 nights in Astorga and were happy we choose this place to stay. The staff was lovely. Breakfast was included and was amazing. They had a service to do your laundry and return it to you. It was very close to everything to see but in a quiet location. I would recommend it highly and would stay here again.

Awesome location coming in from the camino... right opposite the cathedral and a supermarket close by. Breakfast was sensational - cooked and all! Probs the best of my 42 days on camino! Loved the self serve kitchen and all the amenities available to use - oh yeah and the biscuits were a welcome treat! Loved the lil Terrace too and room very clean!
