Located right in the middle of town hence easy accessibility. Surprisingly quiet inspite of the noise from outside. The soundproofing is excellent. Very comfortable rooms with nice blackout curtains. Extensive array of food at breakfast. Service with a smile, always, from the front door to the restaurant etc.

The greyish brown exterior colour is not very inviting. Very limited ammenities in the room eg. No toothbrush, no Lofar etc which would be expected of a business hotel.

Very warm welcome with a cold towel on a hot day. Excellent lake and city views from the rooftop bar. Temperature aside, I really liked the room. It was bright with natural light and the bed was very comfortable. It's right in the centre of the city but somehow, it's still quite a calm environment within the hotel.

The gym could be better - a decent cable machine and multi-squat rack would be a worthwhile investment. It's rather budget that no espresso-based beverages are available as part of the buffet breakfast. The air-conditioning in my room was weak and didn't seem to respond to my inputs. A note in the room indicated that the A/C is centrally controlled. Whatever the case, the room was generally too warm for my liking.

Monica, the intern, was helpful and thoughtful. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped.The hotel provided a small refrigerator upon request.

They had not provided rooms next to one another initially as we requested at booking. When we arrived, we had to wait while they moved us around. The bellman, in trying to be helpful was intrusive. The air conditioning in my room was off on day two, and I had to request assistance twice; however, it was eventually repaired at 1:30 am on day three—checkout day.

Hotel and rooms are in good condition. Servants are very friendly, special Reception, Porter and Security.

You get no Informations in writing about the facilities and the services of the Hotel. You will get a briefing during check in, but who can remember all this later. We found out happily the location of the bar and that they have a small Menü. The food was very good. From the Restaurant we new only the breakfast time. If they serving lunch , dinner or a la cart could not be seen at the entrance. You must ask. At the bar they didn’t have all beers which were at the menu. We asked every day for one local standard beer, but it was not available. Why ? We therefore diced most times to go to another Hotel.

The general reception ,directions to the room, attention given to my guest who arrived earlier and the general ambiance. Breakfast was fine with adequate variety and ready on time for an early riser like me.

some one at the reception revealed the details of my previous visitor without any prodding to my new guest. This could have been very bad had it not been for the fact that they new each other as co- wives.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Service second to none . Food was so good . Only slight problem was no swimming pool .. It was a home away from home .. Very difficult to pick out any one person but Trevor was an absolute gentleman and a wonderful asset to the hotel .. Hope to return soon again 🙏

modern looking food good nice air conditioning

only x1 thing at breakfast you could not make your own coffee or tea, at the buffet breakfast, so you had to wait to be served, sometimes I fancy 2 or 3 coffees. some of the time i was half way trough my breakfast before the coffee came, pots of coffee or pots of tea would be a great idea, or make it even better a coffee machine

This was my first time at Imperial since Sarova acquired the hotel and I'm in awe. First, the service was absolutely exceptional. Everyone from the hotel security, reception, housekeeping and even the waiter staff was incredibly hospital. The rooms were completely overhauled and that scary old carpet is gone. The rooms are fresh airy and clean, with fresh towels and robes, slippers and high-quality yet sustainable toiletries. Sincere thanks to Nelly and Mercy at the front desk, the GM as well as Biko who assured us of the Sarova standard and fully delivered.

Kitchen service was a bit slow.

Breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is within CBD, walking distance to many facilities. The was food was very fresh and delicious ,i really loved the fish with mushroom sauce.

There is nothing not to like in this facility. it exceeded my expectations. The rooms,food,staff all excellent

The bed and pillow are some of the best and most comfortable bedding I’ve slept on! Great for a good night’s sleep and I truly appreciate the fact that they took me seriously when I requested for a quiet room as I’m a really light sleeper.

The only downer is they declined to let me pack up my breakfast left overs for the road but aside from that great!
