Communication with the host, Karen, was great. The unit was in perfect clean condition upon arrival—even the cutlery was arranged in the drawer with attention to detail! This is in a great location, just minutes from the beach and close to stores. A very modern design with high-quality features, including the washroom, a large quartz or quartz-like dining table and a very comfortable bed. The layout is unusual, with entry from the back side leading to a long hallway with the three bedrooms and main washroom, followed by the open living area and kitchen at the front (street) side. This layout does mean the bedrooms are well away from the street side. As others have mentioned, two of the three bedrooms have no windows, but I kind of like that for sleeping purposes - no need for blackout window coverings! This rental would work well for multiple couples, as in our case, or for families.

Not a deal-breaker by any means, but for us staying only one night, having check-in time at 4 pm and check-out time 10 am means only having the unit for about 18 hours. 3 pm and 11 am, respectively, would be more convenient and typical. In our case, circumstances meant we weren`t going to be able to check in earlier anyway, so it wasn`t as big a deal for us this time.

We had a great stay overall! The location of the property is excellent—close to everything we needed. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. Communication with Karen, the host, was also top-notch: timely, clear, and helpful.

A couple of small drawbacks: the HVAC system is a bit tricky to figure out, but Karen was able to resolve this remotely. Directions for operating should be simpler. Also, we weren’t able to access the NHL playoffs on any of the four TV’s which was a disappointment for us as we had to leave the unit and find a noisy pub to watch the game. That said, these were minor issues.

Location was great (2 families with 3 young kids )walking distance to the beach , close to playground park and walking distance to mini golf . Facilities super clean , long hallway for separating the rooms which created a great sound buffer but also fun for kiddos to race their cars up and down. Host was very accommodating and helpful . Would definitely stay here again !

The “back door” facing the busy street needs a double bolted lock / probably was intentional for fire safety however it was easily accessible if my kiddos wanted to open it / they would have been able to and it would lead them to a super busy street .

Best apartment we stayed in. Very modern, spacious and clean. Despite having no view, it was a light and airy. It was great to have 3 proper separate bedrooms. Ni windows in the bedroom was no issue at all as the rooms were plush and all beds were extremely comfortable. Very modern open plan kitchen and sofa area. L-shaped sofa very comfortable. Location was great. Short stroll to the waterfront and to an eclectic selection of suburban shops nearby.

The hot water in the showers took forever to come on. Such a waste of water and frustrating. there was a weird vibration of the beds in two of the bedrooms intermittently throughout the night. No idea what the cause was. It felt like there was a washing machine or dryer below us. Weird rather than bothersome.

Karen is a wonderful host! Very quick to respond and checks in with you to make sure all is well. Every detail is thought out with great care from the welcome gift of wine & treats, the comfy beds and bedding, the fully stocked kitchen (appliances, dishes,etc), 2 full bathrooms, TVs in each of the 3 bedrooms and serene "beachy" colours and theme throughout the suite. Gated parking is included and so many places are within walking distance - the beach, restaurants and many interesting little shops. Highly recommend this 3bdrm gem!

Beach Suites in Parksville exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect—right on the beach with stunning ocean views. The suite was modern, clean, and well-equipped with a comfortable bed and a full kitchen. The staff was accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking sunsets made it a perfect getaway. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Parksville!

A very modern, neat, clean and comfortable apartment for family stay. The communication from the host was excellent and we received warm greetings and clear instructions for door access and parking. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering but there are also nice restaurants nearby for eat-out. The location is great too.

Bath showers were very clean but the drains were too slow. This has been passed onto the host and hope future visitors will not have the same issue.

A great space to share with a family. Central and great access to beach, parks, shopping.

The shower was not the easiest to use and water leaks onto the floor under the sliding door…but nothing a towel placed on the floor won’t catch once aware of the issue.

enjoyed the spaciousness, the dishwasher plus washer and dryer, thank you for the wine, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, Nancy was a terrific go-to for questions, and her partner welcomed us when arrived.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t see the water, but we loved the three bedrooms, two bathroom’s, all the space and cupboards. The parking was not assigned, but the underground parking was there, There were lots of stairs to the beach, but close to the stores
