Peace and quiet, genuinely friendly and helpful staff, superb food and restaurant staff, Dominick and Andrea, went out of their way to be helpful, fabulous bedroom with lots of space and beautiful views. Extremely relaxing hotel. Warm and homely feel. Very spacious bathroom with separate changing area. Everything was spotlessly clean. All bed clothes , towels and linen of a really high standard and such a luxurious feeling. Maire, the owner is a very nice lady always ensuring that every detail is provided for. We most definitely will return as soon as we can. We love it that this beautiful tranquil lodge is dog friendly.
We loved everything. I can't understand why anyone could find fault with this hotel.

In all honesty when we first arrived we thought the hotel was a bit run down. How wrong we were. There was work being done and when finished it'll be stunning. Inside was homely, so if you want modern, this isn't the hotel for you. We (my daughter and I), loved the homely feeling and decor. The staff were first class and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional! We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and couldn't fault it at all. The room was spacious and overlooked Lough Inagh. Stunning! The beds were very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. AND they are dog friendly too, even though I didn't have my four legged friend with us.
There was really nothing we didn't like. The bath water was slow flowing but no problem

The kindness of all staff, the room, the meals and the little pub in House, the interior design and furniture, the lovely fireplace downstairs, the comfortable bed and couch area, all was wonderful and exactly what we hoped for for a special week end.
The bathroom is very spacious and lovely but it could do with a nice fitting rug. When one visits the bathroom during the night you would not necessarily put on shoes and the tiles are cold. There was a little bit of mould in the shower at the bottom.

WOW! Exceeded expectations! Location- right in the valley. Everywhere you look the view is breathtaking! Rooms are comfortable. Bed super comfortable and warm quilt. Massive room and clean. We got a lovely cuppa delivered to the room. Breakfast was lovely and we could have it in the room with the view. I wish we stayed for a few nights. Will definitely be back. There is no mobile reception and wifi is quite slow and doesn’t work well - I guess that is a plus in this beautiful place.

Absolutely remarkable location, at the foot of the mountains, surrounded by trees, with a long path to the lake. Outstanding breakfast, both hot and cold; dinner menu was equally exceptional: modern, thoughtful takes on local products and classic Irish cuisine. Perfectly silent rooms, with plenty of space and luxury baths, and wonderful sitting spaces where we met fellow travelers over a pint in the evening.
That I only stayed one night! This would be the perfect place to settle in for a long weekend.

The welcome we received to the hotel went above and beyond our expectations, Dominic welcomed us with open arms and couldn't do enough for us. The bar and waiters we so friendly and professional all the time and strived to provide the best possible experience. The food at dinner was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the venison) and suited the hotel's style wonderfully. Breakfast was gorgeous too. I loved sitting in the bar by the stove and the charming sitting rooms were an excellent hideaway to enjoy a pint of Guinness and read a book.
I honestly can't fault Lough Inagh Lodge, my fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our night away here. The setting and the scenery were gorgeous and exactly what we needed.

The hosts were wonderful, resolving a booking issue without leaving us with the burden. They were welcoming, accomodating our requests and always with a smile and good sense of humor. The location is wonderful. One of the most beautiful places on earth - and we have seen a lot. The food was excellent, continuing our unexpected excellent culinary experiences along the west coast of Ireland.

Breakfast was excellent : lots of choice & great quality of ingredients. The service was superb. The room we stayed in was very spacious, it's an old fashioned style in keeping with the property. It felt warm and comfortable despite the poor weather.
The decor wasn't really to my taste but it's only a personal preference. I would have liked a stronger light in the bedroom - though that may not work as well with the decor.

The staff was very friendly, creating a lovely vibe. Dogs were allowed, and I loved seeing others with their dogs. The location is fab! I will be returning and can't wait to stay again. Dinner was excellent; the food and service were 5 stars! Breakfast was lovely; great choices.
Parking spaces are a little tight.

The hotel was on the shores of Lough Inagh but very central to the sights of Connemara. All were within a short driving distance. The room was out of this world with an amazing view of the lake. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and the meals were excellent.
There was nothing we did not like.
