The property was clean and tidy, same as our room was neat and big enough. The receptionists who were on the pm and night shift were not so good. Kept asking for my receipts as I knew they overcharged me with some costs. Their driver was awesome with another male staff. Receptionists need to improve their customer service as they will be the first impression for their guests

Just an improvement for customer service as mentioned above will be an asset for the sake of the wonderful place

When we arrived at Faleolo Airport I spotted our shuttle driver holding sign with my name right away, that was really nice. I had been corresponding with staff a month before our arrival advising them I was travelling with my elderly father, and requested a room close to reception and without stairs. They were kindly able to do this for me. Only stayed for the night as travelling to Savaii the next morning. The room was perfect, and staff were very friendly. Shuttle driver was ready for us soon as we were ready to be dropped off to the wharf. Room very clean and comfy beds.

Just 1 minor negative for me. The dye on the sheet that I had used and slept on coloured my skin. I woke up the next morning with dye on my feet, legs and arms from the sheets. I used wipes the next morning to try get it off. Most of it was able to come off but it still stained my skin abit. Beautiful colourful sheets though, but maybe not a good idea for sleeping on after being dyed.

Cinder block (family unit) room. 2 x dbl & 1 x sgl. Quiet & well functioning a.c and fridge. Noiseless (working) ceiling fan and smoke alarm. Dark curtain. Firm Comfortable bed. Comfortable stay.

Bathroom had small hole where the outside could be seen through one layer of tiles (no external cladding). No TV, facecloths, kettle nor toaster etc. One table & chair. Wifi from the front office definitely did not reach out room at the back of the long layout, doubt it reached many rooms through the multiple Cinder block walls. A tolerable number of tiny ants in the bathroom.

Staff friendly and helpful. I asked for airport pickup and he was right there. If you need to overnight to make connections at Faleolo Airport, this is by far the best location, short drive (way too long to walk). I got an air conditioned room and the temperature was right. There is a restaurant, which had generous portions at a good price. If you have a night plane to catch they will wake you up on request.

Super good for making connections. Their air con rooms are good. This is far from anything else, it is a hour taxi drive to the city of Apia. This motel is very adequate, but not fancy, but good value for money.

I recently stayed at Transit Motel, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I had a early morning flight and I particularly loved taxi service as a driver woke me up and made sure I reach airport on time. The housekeeping team did a great job of keeping everything tidy throughout my stay. The hotel facilities were also excellent. The pool was well-maintained and a perfect place to relax. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and friendly place to stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit memorable!

It exceeded my expectations after reading the reviews. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient and they told us about the free airport shuttle without us asking. It left exactly on time too. The restaurant has delicious food at affordable prices. Our room was basic but perfect for our need to get an early night sleep for a very early check out. The air-conditioner was quiet when I had to turn it on at night for awhile because I was hot. Some other guests were a bit loud but then everything was quiet so I think the hotel staff must have asked them to shush.

Location near Faleolo Airport and Savaii ferry

We had two different stays for 1 night each. First time we had a room close to reception and there was noise of wheely bags on concrete and guests coming and going all night. Room 51 from memory. Coming back a week later we asked for a room at the back. Room 32 from memory and it was much better with no noticeable noise. The rooms themselves were comfortable and breakfast on our first day was good. We left early morning on our second stay to catch the ferry. We did not try the restaurant for dinner. There seemed to be no menu available and we were told “either chicken soup or vegetable soup” So we went down the road another restaurant for dinner 2 or 3 kilometres or so away around the corner past the wharf. The Sheraton across the road was closed for maintenance.

The Transit Motel is brilliantly placed to stay close to the international airport for those late night/early morning flights. It is basic accommodation that is clean and the air conditioning works really well. It is a good option for a few hours sleep after arriving or before leaving and is can also provide transport to the airport.

If you have a clear expectation that this accommodation is short term close to the airport then there are no issues.

I had a lovely room with an air conditioner ensuring that I could be cool when the temperature rose. The bed comfortable and the bathroom was a good size and everything was very clean. The staff were lovely and provided me with water. They were prompt at using the free shuttle to drop me off at the Whatf at my scheduled time.

My pickup from the airport never arrived, so I made my own way to the motel. They did apologise and reimburse me for that. 👍

Location is perfect for those who need a place to stay before an early or late flight as it is really close to the airport or for those who are travelling to/from savaii as it is located in between airport and the wharf. The place has definitely grown since last staying here over 5 years ago - the staff are friendly and there is even a free shuttle bus service to ensure you make your flight. New addition is there is now an pool and resturant at the front of the place and plenty of space to park
