Pretty much everything - the staff were great, and the location was especially convenient as the station was directly across the road.

Our room was a little bit noisy - a combination of what we believe was the plumbing and the cleaning cupboard which was next to our room.

Came here during Pinkpop because they confirmed that they can accept check-in even after midnight, with optionally leaving bags in the morning before check-in. However we didn't use the opportunity and simply arrived around 15 instead. Also the location is great, literally 1 min walking from train station, so plenty of cafes and shops nearby as well. Surprisingly we received a room much larger than booked - with 4 comfortable single beds for 2 of us, with own toilet and large shower. Had windows and air conditioning. Had a quiet night. Neat style is maintained throughout the hotel.

I think it's a bit expensive for a rather not so popular city

The room was small, but cozy, location excellent, a little walk from the train station, on the corner of the main street, in a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was nice, in a separate area at the next door. The elevator is good to have, and the chill zone is a good place to sit down. Water and Popping sugar at the reception! The stuff is very friendly and helpful in the check-in and check-out. I liked the funny (and mindful) lines in the bathroom about how to save water. And I think I haven't seen such a big screen in a hotel room before.

A chair and something to have the bag to put on would be nice, even for the basic room type, I think. Of course, I could survive without it although that would have given a comfier experience.

The hotel is very conveniently located right across from the train station. I appreciate it that it was extremely easy to find, since I had never traveled to Maastricht before. The room was spacious and the lighting, both natural and Electric, was good. The hotel has very good access to buses going into the city and the staff were helpful in giving me info about the buses.

There was no access to microwave oven nor any small refridge. I asked for a quiet room, but my room was right facing the train station.The is expensive and around the corner, so it was not convenient for me to have breakfast at the hotel, as I usually like to do.

We recently stayed five nights at Hotel Kaboom in Maastricht. This is my 4th time staying at Kaboom. As always it is an excellent choice for our trip. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient—it’s right across from the train station, with a parking garage just down the street. For coffee lovers, there’s a fantastic coffee shop next door, and the Albert Heijn grocery store in the station is open late, which came in handy. There’s also a Starbucks in the station for a quick pick-me-up. The area is lively, with plenty of stores, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance, making it a great base for exploring the city. Breakfast at the hotel was a typical Dutch spread—simple but satisfying, with fresh bread, cheeses, and more to start your day. Overall, Hotel Kaboom offers a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for a stay in Maastricht. We’d happily stay here again!

Staff is extremely kind both at reception and in the breakfast room. Some room are a little bit too cold in particular during night time but at the reception you can ask for a portable heater. Breakfast is a great mix of salty, fruity and sweetly

Rooms on the street side are a little bit too noisy and there’s leakage of cold air, I think they could have been of higher quality / better installation. The centralized heating system seems undersized as in some room you cannot get to the set point temperature you asked for At reception they don’t have sewing kits that are sometimes really helpful for frequent travelers

Excellent location if you arrive by train - right outside the station. Rooms are simple but mostly completely new and well equipped with the basics. Staff was super helpful - I messed up the booking and arrived a day later during an Easter long weekend when most places were already fully booked. The receptionist was really nice and worked hard to find me a new room /different accommodation.

Nothing major - just be aware that the breakfast the hotel offers is not accessible from the hotel itself, you need to walk a few meters outside.

The location was fantastic in this beautiful city! The price was brilliant for the accomodation which was spotless. Breakfast around the corner was really good, not a lavish buffet but excellent for the price included. Directly across from the Station , some noise from the road at night but can’t be helped as the location is too good to miss . I walked everywhere from this easy location and hopped on the train easily when it was time to go . The rooms were modern and quirky in a great Dutch way.

Nothing my stay for one night was excellent exceptional value for money .

Room was fine. Service was very good. Location was exactly what we wanted. Lots of hangers! Room design and stripped out decoration is typical ‘millennial’ focused room. Elements of comfort that 50+~ers are used to were not available, but for us this was just a place to sleep. We spent 8 hours in total there. It was fit for purpose.

No coffee/tea machine. Beds were too hard. No choice of one twin bed voor couples like us. I dislike sleeping in two separate beds.

Enjoyed renting a stick insect , great location from car parks to hotel. Plenty of restraunts near by. Great touch with the free night cap. Simple and cosy room, clean and tidy. Nice to visit the Christmas market about 10/15 minute walk away. If wanting to catch a train hotel directly across from train station.

Heads up that parking could be cheaper at QPark if pre-booked with Kaboom QR code. Only seen when within hotel reception. However, would only save 2 euros per 24hrs.
