Breacfast was amazing, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Location is in the heart of the old medina, unreachable for the cars. So, it is not very convenient if you carry a heavy luggage.

Difficult to find even though it is off a main medina artery which seemed to specialize in used goods and had a flea market type atmosphere. The sign is up a dead end alley and small. We needed help from the local street vendors. Staff was friendly. We were early for check-in and they invited us to the rooftop terrace, with a view across the town to the Rif mountains, for tea while we waited. Breakfast was fresh and generous and I can't think of a more beautiful place to sit and enjoy the early morning. Rooms are simple, a good size and comfortable.

Needs better signage outside. Located in a part of the medina which is used by locals, not many tourists, this is both a pro and a con. You get to experience how a medina functions as part of a bigger city, not as a tourist destination. We found this to be a good antidote to Marrakech.

Comfortable double room with en-suite bathroom. Bathroom a little tired with annoying shower curtain but perfectly ok. The hosts were excellent looking after us and cannot be faulted. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served on the roof which was lovely in the warm weather, less so in the rain! Location in the heart of the medina is perfect but not the easiest to find when you arrive. Note that it’s central location means the call to prayer at 5 ish in the morning is very loud and likely to wake you up - all adds to the authenticity however!

Situated in the heart of the Medina, this family run riad is an oasis of calm once you enter through the ancient stairway leading to the front door. After you get your bearings, it's very easy to walk everywhere of interest or just lose yourself in the fascinating hustle and bustle of the market's daily life. Multilingual Brahim and his team are extremely welcoming and helpful, always smiling and ready to be of assistance. If you want the experience of real Moroccan life, this is the place!

Everything was perfect.

An exceptional Riad-Hotel nestled in the heart of Tetouan’s historic Medina! Discovering this hidden gem was a delightful surprise, offering an authentic Moroccan experience in a charming, beautifully restored setting. The owners, Mr. Brahim and his wife, were genuinely warm, gracious, and attentive, making us feel like cherished guests rather than visitors. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast served on the rooftop terrace, with breathtaking panoramic views of Tetouan's mountains. The breakfast itself was a 5-star experience—freshly prepared each morning with an impressive spread that included freshly pressed orange juice and local delicacies. This Riad-Hotel is a true oasis, blending Moroccan tradition with top-notch hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The riad is placed in the medina, a Unesco World Heritage site. Its ubication is clearly explained in the description of the property, but it is something that I didn't understand until I was there, especially after getting the wrong way. It wasn't any problem, about safety, for example, but it's true that at my arrival I felt I'd feel comfortable at home. Wrong idea, that I manifestated maybes a little bit abruptely at my arrival. My fears were met with a smile and good humor by Brahim, who showed me a much shorter way to the medina's gates. At the end, a really nice experience

Great location, extremely welcoming staff, beautiful and clean riad.

Rooms with air conditioning are excellent--my travel partners stayed in one and loved it. I stayed in a room without air conditioning, expecting to be able to leave the windows open. They warned against it because they said cats would get in the room, so I slept in a fully closed up room in July. Thankfully, I brought a fan, but it was still pretty warm and stuffy. I would recommend that they get some window screens or other mesh-like coverings for the windows in rooms without AC so that they are a little more comfortable. It is clear when you book a room whether it has AC or not, so they are completely transparent. A wonderful place to stay overall, and the staff are just amazing--going above and beyond to make you comfortable.

Dar Rehla is a wonderful property, very tastefully renovated, in the middle of the medina. I arrived in the rain outside the old town and was met and taken to the dar where my clothes were dried for me. The room was lovely and I slept extremely well in the very comfortable bed. The next morning, the rain had cleared and the view to the Rif Mountains was magnificent! Breakfast was available for a small charge and well worth it. When I left my bag was taken to the city walls and a cab hailed. I thoroughly recommend this property. Management and staff are wonderful!!

Wonderful people and delicious, ample breakfast, beautiful and breezy view of the mountains. It was my first time in Morocco, so the location inside the medina was confusing for me but also a wonderful way to experience Tétouan. I felt very safe.

The wifi wasn't working, but I was able to get local prepaid cell service and do everything I needed to do from my phone hotspot. When other guests use the shared terrace for smoking, the second-hand smoke came into my room.

The guesthouse is in a fantastic location within the medina, so you are really in the heart of the town. The roof terrace has views across the town to the mountains behind. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with yoghurt, eggs, pancakes and bread.

Unfortunately the mattress in our room was sagging in the middle and could do with being replaced. It would be OK for a person travelling alone.
