Location is within 20-25 minute walk to klcc. Over all, the room was clean and the hotel is in a good location. Staff was friendly.

There was a consistent dripping sound coming from the drain in the shower. Kept waking me up even with the bathroom door closed I could hear it. Outlets were WAY too far from the bed and very few. Maybe update the lamp by the bed to have an outlet on the base. I tried to unplug the lamp and use the outlet but was unable to due to the nightstand being connected to the bed. Had to rig up multiple wires to make my phone reach the bed and charge at the same time. Music in the hallways could be a little quieter. Someone downstairs locked themselves IN their room and there was hammering and drilling going on at 9am which is not the girls fault. Idk how someone can lock themselves IN their own room... Idiot?

I’m so glad to move to HSK Hotel from a nearby dodgy guesthouse. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe here. It did cost a bit more than my usual backpacking budget but it was totally worth spending abit more to be safe. - The staff are polite. Abas, the friendly doorman loves a good chat. They kept my belongings and passport safe before check in. - Twin room with ensuite (without windows) was spacious. Hangers provided. Comfortable bed, pillows and smooth bed linens. I had two nights of good rest. It was peaceful. - Drinking water dispenser is available in the corridor. - 5 mins walk to delicious food in Chinatown, 30 mins walk to Petronas towers. 12 mins walk to Merdeka Square. Train station across the road (to Terminal Bersepadu Selantan)

The price shown on the booking.com didn’t include 6% service, 8% vat and 10rm per room per night (foreigner only tax)

Friendly staff

I spent three nights at HSK Hotel and came away thoroughly disappointed. From the moment I entered the room, a layer of dust was visible on almost every surface, including the wardrobe shelves, which made me reluctant to unpack my clothes. The bathroom was particularly off‑putting: I found strands of hair on and around the toilet, and a small cockroach even appeared one evening. Worse, the toilet would only flush properly once. Although I set the air‑conditioner to 16 °C, it never delivered anything close to cool air, and I ended up sleeping uncomfortably hot for all three nights. Staff aware. The television remote didn’t work either, so the only way to turn the screen off was to use hand manually to turn off volume and can’t power off tv entirely. Altogether, the dust, persistent maintenance problems, and lack of proper housekeeping left me far from satisfied.
