Everything. This hotel is just incredible. Tge room is huge. I booked room with see view and it was jus breathing. I paid for club access which was wort every sible penny. I didn't know what was exactly included. And it was amazing. So you have 2h late snack ( basicly is small buffet with hot and cold food) and all drinks like tea coffee, juices and wine, bear, spirits and is barman who is doing cocktails. That was great. During the day you have snack for 2h like cake, biscuits, fruits and non alcoholic beverages. For breakfast is to option you can eat in the lounge club which is more cosy or you can go to main restaurant. Food is amazing and selection in huge. The room is massive probably the biggest one which I saw in my life 😊All staff ale very nice. Tge swimming pool area is great too. Is rooftop bar as well so is great to sit down and watch sunset.

The room size is just nice, with more than enough plug point at multiple sides of the room, make it very comfortable for charging every electrical gadgets ... the bed and pillows are so comfy, with very clean linen and towels. The foods are marvelous, love it. So many choices for breakfast from local to western menu. Dining area is spacious and comfortable. The most important thing is a declaration of HALAL certified.

I think the outside glass windows need to be cleaned regularly because the dirt outside blocked the nice view

The hotel is having great views of the sea, it is located in the middle of KK which makes it so accessible if you are keen on walking. The room is specious, very clean, very beautifully done and the bed is more than comfortable. The staff are great, always so nice, polite and smiling. Whenever we had a request everything was responded ASAP. Breakfast was amazing, they had something for everyone. Everything was cooked fresh and products were very good. Highly recommend and deserve every penny.

Only thing that is not a fault of the hotel is the smell outside, which unfortunately is present when you are in the pool area.

An absolutely brilliant hotel, in a great location, with amazing staff, they can't do enough for you. Always smiling and saying hello and offering help if needed. From reception to waiting staff, to the cleaning staff and everyone else fantastic 👏 👌 The breakfast and all the trimmings was excellent loads of choice and tasting great. We ate there a couple of times in the restaurants, and it never ever disappointed. The highlight for us was the staff, front of house, understood our need for gluten-free food. Never a problem with plenty of choice. The bedrooms were super comfy, large with excellent pillows. Totally recommend and would definitely return.

Good central location in KK, close to street market, shops and restaurant. Large, modern hotel, with nice pool area, pool long enough to swim lengths. Nice view of the sea and islands from Rooftop bar, especially if you manage to catch the sunset. Room was large, modern, nice and clean, with comfortable bed and pillows. Reception staff were helpful. We did not have breakfast, so can't comment on that.

Service at the cafe/bars (on rooftop and pool area) for lunch and dinner was slow and quality of food was hit and miss. I had a very salty salad, which I couldn't eat and had to return. For dinner we were a large group which probably complicated things.

The staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel was very clean and modern. The room was very well decorated and nice lightening.

We liked the courteous and helpful staff. Our room was upgraded to one with a bathtub which we greatly appreciated. The rooftop evening invite was a pleasant surprise and we really enjoyed it. The sunset is quite nice from the rooftop bar and we do think that taking the club lounge access next time might be worth it.

The hotel has very bad traffic in its vicinity. Even crossing the road to the waterfront area seemed hazardous due to the open drains outside the seafood market. The breakfast should have been included in the price and we found it difficult to find good places offering veg options for breakfast away from the hotel. This was an inconvenience. The corded pipes in the bathroom need urgent repairs as they are leaking from all sides. The tea and coffee options were disappointing for a hotel of this reputation. A coffee machine with capsules would be a nice touch for the price paid.

The Le Meridien in Kota Kinabalu is located right in the city with close access to multiple shopping malls, restaurants, and night markets. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff are very polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with a large variety of different options, and the service from restaurant staff was professional. Next time we come back to Kota Kinabalu, we will definitely stay at the Le Meridien again.

The TV in the room only had basic channels. It would be good if they had netflix or phone casting so that we could watch our own shows. We went to the gym at around 9pm one night, and it definitely needs better maintenance and cleaning.

Nothing at all..

Very well located. We choose a sea view room - stunning sunset views. Very friendly staff. The front desk service was exceptional! All the staff there were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide selection. The manager in charge of the buffet is very helpful and polite.

The carpet in the room is slightly stained, it could do with a refresh. The hallways are slightly stuffy.
