The staff was extremely friendly and responsive to our requests. We've stayed in the hotel many times over the last few years, and the staff has definitely improved. The hotel's location is perfect-right on the lake, but away from the main busy road, and the rail line.

The breakfast hours need to be extended. When you're on vacation you don't want to get up and get ready early every day to make breakfast. It's why so many guests come to the dining room between 0930-1000. I think the hotel needs to extend the hours to 1030.

Check in was fast and easy all staff in the hotel were friendly and professional. Our room location was on the top floor overlooking the breath taking lake view and mountains. We asked for this when booking. The area was so quiet and peaceful. We both slept so well during our stay we really didn't want too leave to return home. The room was very clean, with regular linen and towel changes. Each day we had fresh bottled water put in our room. We asked for tea/coffee making facilities in our room at reception and within 10 minutes it was brought to our room. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good along with the hotel breakfast.

What a stunning place to stay for three nights. The room was huge and very clean with a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. I made sure to get one with a view. There was no problem getting a kettle from reception and the restaurant even gave me a jug of milk for my tea/coffee. Seeing as there was a fridge this was perfect for a coffee in the morning. The restaurant downstairs is beautiful and what is even better is that there’s a 20% reduction for residents. Because there is a direct train from Geneva airport to Montreux it makes it a perfect place for a beautiful relaxing weekend. The staff were lovely too.

Absolutely nothing.

We booked the room overlooking the lake, we were on the top Floor room 508 and OMG the views were amazing over the lake with a mountain top back drop beautiful. Worth every penny just for the view, the room was a nice size with balcony table and chairs. The only thing we missed was a coffee making facilities in the room, would of been nice to have that so we could of sat outside on the balcony with a coffee on the mornings enjoying the views and fresh mountain air. I would recommend this hotel with out question if you take the lake view room.

No coffee making facility in the room, this would of made the stay perfect, but i cannot complain as the views were amazing....

The location of the hotel, directly on Lake Geneva, is perfect. The building is rather grand in the Belle Epoque style, with some delightful rooms and attractive gardens. Our room, which had a balcony and overlooked the lake, was comfortable with a large bed and lovely pillows. The breakfast room is very pleasant, bright and airy, with views over the lake. The breakfast buffet was well-presented, with plenty of choice, but the selection of hot food was perhaps a little limited.

Our bathroom was adequate but it could have benefited from some updating. The dining room was disappointing. It felt rather like a canteen and did not seem to be in keeping with the rest of the hotel. There was also no bar to speak of, it being little more than a section of the dining room furnished with a few sofas and armchairs. This was disappointing as there are few pleasanter things to do in a hotel than relaxing in a comfortable bar after dinner with a drink.

The room and bathroom were very big, and clean. Excellent view of the lake and the mountains, with chairs and a little table to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy it to the fullest. Unbeatable location, right on the promenade, 10 minutes away from the train station, and close to supermarkets and a shopping centre. Great service, with full amenities available in the room - toiletries, towels, slippers, bathrobe, minifridge. Also the Belle Époque architecture is really stunning, so that's a plus if you enjoy that sort of thing!

The available pillows weren't very comfortable, but I also didn't ask for new ones (short stay).

Room has the best view of Lake Geneva

Hotel advertises its prices on here. Hotel advertises its facilities on here. They include car parking. I paid in full on booking. I received an email almost immediately after booking stating that the car park is already fully booked and telling me to use the Montreux car parks in the area. I replied that I was disappointed with this, but my reply was not acknowledged. bear this in mind when assessing its prices on here. The swimming pool is very small and is not heated. As Montreux is in the Alps, nobody was able to use it.

Absolutely amazing & beautiful property located right alongside the water and 5 mins walk to the bustling Christmas Market. The hotel, the room, the huge balcony, the wonderfully large bathroom (a rarity in Switzerland) were all top notch. I really loved the views from everywhere in the property esp. The balcony. The reception area and the areas around the hotel to just chill, have breakfast, tea/coffee, gaze into the spectacular mountains was stunning. The views wre exceptional. This will certainly be one of the best hotels I have stated in my life.

I was not 100% clear about the balcony situation. The balcony was huge, so big that it felt it is shared by 2-3 rooms. Since no one was there in our adjoining rooms, we had it all to ourselves but from the pictures, it would look like its your own small private balcony.

The room is clean and beautiful. The bathroom is huge and comfortable. There is a bathtub. The view from the hotel is exceptional. The Christmas market is less than 5min walk away from this hotel. The location is quite central to most of the attractions. Service is normal, the facilities in the room may look a little old, but the view from the balcony makes it up for me.

Some guests are feeding the seagulls next to my room. The seagulls are making a lot of noises in the morning. I was also afraid to stay at the balcony for too long due to the seagulls. Electrical adapter is not provided. Every time I walk past the closest, there will be a weird noise made.

Location location location, absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning views of Lake Montreux. We arrived by train, the hotel is a five minute walk away. Check in was friendly and efficient. Our room was recently decorated, the decor was quite modern considering the architecture of the hotel. We got fruit and bottles of water each day. We were a bit concerned about the breakfast reviews but there was plenty of choice every day. The staff in the dining room were super helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the hotel and it was amazing and great staff there also.
