The room was spacey and good. Breakfast was fine. Short walking to the city and the lake front.

Parking was complicated with the car lift, you should at least reserve some time for it, the help of personnel is needed and it is not good for bigger cars.

We loved this hotel, everything is well decorated to Freddie's figure, the room was very nice with the balcony facing the most beautiful view of the lake with the mountains on the back, breath taking view when you wake up. Comfortable beds and nice hot shower! The hotel exceeded our expectations, starting with the reception team Maria and Nouf that were wonderfully helpful to get me all the information and effort to get a plan B due to heavy rain on our arrival. Cheers to Alexandra on the breakfast team, great meal!

Room temperature was too hot, even setting the AC to the minimum. There is an advantage of being almost inside of the train station - 100 meters (very useful if you travel a lot by train, you don't need to walk kilometres to your hotel), but it brings sometimes train sounds to the room, but it was acceptable.

It's very comfortable, clean, and the view is amazing. Breakfast is also excellent with various kind of choices. I would defenetely recommend the Freddie Mercury hotel if our family or friends are visiting Montreux

Only staying one night. We wish we can stay longer for the next visit.

The staff were so nice-a particular thank you to the receptionist who was so pleasant and kind. Our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait an extra 15 mins and she ensured we would have a free breakfast for the inconvenience. We had a late flight the next day and she let us check out one hour later free of charge-it’s the little things but it was much appreciated. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff came by to check everything was ok and if we needed anything. Fabulous bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay especially after staying in below par accommodation up until then.

There were no proper thick curtains in the room, just a thin mesh one.

The hotel is very new feeling. It is clean and functional. There is lovely Freddie Mercury memorabilia and artwork throughout the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Brilliant location and spectacular views of the mountains and lake.

It almost felt like residents were kept away from the main areas being encouraged to enter and leave the hotel by external routes, avoiding the communal areas and going only directly to and from rooms. There was no bar/social area (apart from the restaurant if you had booked a meal). The garden room (outdoor seating area) was locked. No plug socket near a mirror in the room. It was a lovely hotel but needed a few touches to make it feel more comfortable/less cold (cushions/throws perhaps).

1. Great location, you can walk directly to the hotel from platform 1. 2. Clean and spacious room. The room also have sufficient lights (room is not too dim) 3. Very good and delicious breakfast, kitchen of the hotel is very clean. There are sufficient spaces and tables for guests during breakfast. I also would like to thank you to the chef who is making the omelet, he is very kind and keen to service and his omelet is delicious.

Only the minor comments 1. As the hotel is located right at the train station, you can expect the noise from trains and people walked by talking. However, this did not impact to my stay much. 2. I had stayed for 3 nights, and requested to make up room. The room was properly cleaned, however, the used glass, cup were not replaced and tea bags were not re-supplied.

It was right next to the train station so it was easy to get to, even with large suitcases. 5 min walk away from the lakefront, and Coop Pronto. The quadruple room was large and clean. There were electric blinds that helped to block out the light when we wanted to sleep in. Staff were helpful.

The laundry room is actually used by students living there. 3 sets of machines require a special card and code to use, which the students had. There are only 2 washing machines and dryer using coins, credit card not accepted. Machines were also occupied, and not available to use. There was noise from the train station- not a big issue for us, but may be an issue for those sensitive to noise

The staff and hotel were fantastic! We would definitely stay there again. It is very convenient if you have luggage, right on the train platform. From inside our room we didn't hear the train at all. Outside on the patio, we could hear them, but they're electric, so the sound is very minimal.

The walk to the lake/downtown is downhill. Coming back to the hotel is straight uphill. We did find that if you come back to the hotel thru the train station, there are escalators that make the uphill easier and then walk across the platform.

The welcoming and friendly staff! It was spotless. The room was spacious. There is a balcony with a magnificent view on the 5th floor.

The reception girl (unfortunately I did not get her name, she worked an afternoon shift on 26th March 2024) is super friendly, who give us a warm welcome, useful information and help. It is a nice surprise to find out the room with beautiful mountain view. The hotel is modern, clear and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is actually located on the platform of the train station, we found it suit for us best.

The hotel is so close to the train station, the rolling noise could be heard from our room, but we were so tired after a busy day, to be honest we were not bothered by the noise.
