Such a unique hotel, beautifully designed around old village ruins.The staff especially Musa looked after us like we were family. The location, on top of the hill was perfect, lovely terrace to see sunset and very pleasant outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The rooms, spotless clean were very spacious and beautifully appointed and maintained. Breakfast was delicious and starts at 6am to allow an early arrival at Petra. Eid looked after us, organising the terrace for our last day. Musa booked a guide for our Petra tour, organised taxis, dinners and massages. He was on hand at every moment and nothing was too much trouble. The staff at this hotel are exemplary and a true credit to the business.

Staff were great. Great hospitality. Great pool. Great sauna. Great view. Peaceful. Comfortable. Mousa made the stay exceptional.

The friendly, attentive but not overtly intrusive staff. A special mention to Moussa who was such a great welcome to the resort. Thankyou The setting and beautifully kept plants and grounds were a delight The outdoor terrace at the restaurant was lovely too.

I loved staying here - I think it is one of the nicest hotel experiences I have had. Understated luxury surrounded by beautiful olive trees give a calm and serenity to this resort. It is very well thought out in the way it is laid out and has indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, very varied and different on the 2 days we were there. A special thank you to Eid for making our dining extra nice. All of the staff was lovely and the location is very practical with a car, just 7 minutes to the free parking at Petra and 18 minutes to Little Petra.

Absolutely nothing.

Probably our favorite lodging in Jordan. So close to Petra yet feels so quiet and secluded. The entire staff was amazing especially Eid’s service at the cafe and restaurant and Baker running check in. The actual “Old Village” couldn’t be more beautiful with flowers in bloom and old Olive trees everywhere. Really appreciated the upgraded room and would 100% recommend this lodging for the comfortable rooms, outstanding food and the sincere hospitality.

The only thing we didn’t like was leaving! Truly an amazing property for our 2 night stay.

Beautiful layout, room was very large with very large bed. Air conditioning. Beautiful views from our seating area outside the room (sunsets!). Outdoor pool was excellent. Breakfasts, cold mezze, salads. Reception were very helpful as were the majority of the cafe and restaurant staff. Any staff we met around the grounds were very helpful and welcoming. Very quiet place too. Free shuttle to Petra visitors’ centre and back.

Buffet was good but definitely lacked finesse - many of the traditional cooked dishes were better in other restaurants across Jordan. International dishes - pasta etc., - were sadly a bit lacklustre. Asking for extra payment for a cappuccino at breakfast seemed ridiculous for a five star hotel, especially when it arrived over 45 minutes later (we weren’t charged btw). Tea and coffee making supplies in the bedroom very limited indeed - looked like they didn’t want to hurt their room service opportunities. Bit mean really. Our bed was firm to the point of being hard.

Great overall. Not much to complain. Breakfast was Excellent. Staff was kind. Nice wifi. Spacious room. Nice view and good ambience.

When I asked the receptionist about the sirens going on He told me it was an Adhan (Islamic call to prayer). But I know very well what Adhan sounds like. Later I found out that it was a warning siren because of the milssiles flying on Jordanian air due to the conflict between Israel and Iran. The experience honestly damaged a bit of my trust on them. the other thing is. It locates on a hill with many different rooms. So in case you are allocated a room on a higher side. You should expect a bit of walking up a hill. But you can expect the staff bringing you and your luggage to the door of your room using their golf cart.

I was impresed by the location, and story behind it's own existance. My experience was highlighted by the implication of the staff to make our whole stay exceptional. Hospitality is remarkable. My special regards to the extraordinary team especially HR manager Mr. Ahmad Alnawafleh and general manager Mr. Motasem Alnawafleh. And i don't forget the dinning staff mistered by Mr. Tareq Alnawafleh who made our ceremony just perfect. Thanks you all for making us feels home!

The design of the hotel is beautiful and the facilities are amazing. The view is fabulous.

There was a smell in the room that wouldn't go away even though I kept the window and bathroom fan on. Also at the cafe we asked for a meal a la carte and the food was not as described (they added cauliflower to a minced meat dish that shouldn't have cauliflower) and my husband is allergic and when we asked they said that the menu mentions cauliflower but it doesn't.

We booked the hotel because we wanted a more culturally authentic hotel with some heritage behind it. It exceeded our expectations... The charm and warmth of the place was magical, we would absolutely come back if we are in Petra. The view from dinner was also picture perfect. The food selection had plenty of authentic middle eastern dishes (not necessarily only jordanian) but also some continental food. The selection for breakfast was also more than enough - the buffet was wonderful. The dead-sea products in the bathroom were excellent - the conditioner and the body washes and the soaps, as well as the loofah were really thoughtfully chosen. I was pampered.
