It's the third time I've stayed here and I'll stay again.My room was small but more than adequate for what I needed.The buffet breakfast is good value for money and good quality with a wide variety of food on offer. The location is superb right across the road from the beach! I really love it here.They have an outdoor pool but I didn't try it out.

The small ironing board is tricky to use and you have to improvise. The toaster in the dining room is a little slow and needs to be slightly higher in temperature as you have to put the bread in twice to get it toasted properly; however, these things won't stop me from coming again.

The staff has to be first talked about as everyone is very welcoming and even when busy, take the time to talk to you and ensure that everything is going well. Very quick response to any request or service. Sea view room was great. Amazing view, great bathroom, very comfortable bed. Breakfast has plenty to choose from, even for vegetarians. We only had one diner at the hotel's restaurant and it was to the mark. I would definitely come again to the hotel for another visit in Jersey. The bus stop is just a few steps away to go to town and a short ride. Thank you so much for making our stay as pleasant as we could have hoped for.

It is a property over a hundred years old so that being said it has to be considered that there are steps and narrow lift but the hotel has been well maintained and all the areas have been well designed.

Excellent location overlooking beach,gorgeous sea view.,lovely decorated room and veranda.pleased of fan as there during a heatwave.attentive staff. Evening meal at the hotel was exceptional. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his cooked breakfast. Porridge was tasty. Enjoyed an early morning swim in the heated out door pool.

There could have been more choice at continental breakfast..salami.Fruit salad could have been cut up smaller..and more variety of fruit perhaps. There were no scrambled or poached eggs.

The room was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet style breakfasts were great. The location was good. Out of the town centre - but not too far - so a bit quieter.

No lift available to the bedroom. The shower was over the bath - so a bit tricky for us older folk. No mini-bar fridge in the room. No air-conditioning. The dinner menu choices were a bit limited. Everything on he island - including dining in or out - was more expensive that at home.

I had a 2 night stay in this lovely hotel. It's in a brilliant location right across the road from the beach with beautiful views. Sitting in the hotel drinking coffee in the morning looking at the sea is just so peaceful. The buffet breakfast was fabulous with a large variety. I had a single room and although it was small, it was clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. The shower was ace! The staff here are really friendly. There are lifts if you are on an upper floor if you prefer to use it rather than walk. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment I met Ronnie on reception he took my suitcases upstairs .Lilian became such a joy after my day out and was truly interested in my stay being happy .Simon left my room immaculate and folded my nightie onto of my pillow I felt so much like their family .the food was beautiful and lavish especially Friday night seafood banquet .I managed yo catch buses to gorey and st helier . Also Nicole Evans in receptionist helped me book my ticket to st malo . I'd return xx thankbuou Caroline New Zealand 🇳🇿 also ommaroo hotel being related to our omaru new Zealand

Honestly I loved everything

15 minute walk into city centre. There's also a frequent bus service which stops near to hotel. Great choices at breakfast. Food looked lovely, with big portions, from restaurant although we didn't eat there. Staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. Good sized room and bathroom

Size of pool was slightly disappointing from pictures however it was still a good size. If someone had mobility issues they might struggle with the stairs as there was a lot in the premises

We liked the great location on the seafront, hotel facilities with very friendly and helpful staff, standard of rooms which were tastefully decorated and clean.The choice of two restaurants, one being A la carte. It was close to the city centre with bus route right outside hotel. The cooked buffet breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice.

I can honestly say there was nothing I could fault and I would be more than happy to book again.

Very friendly, charming,discreet and helpful staff. The rooms were spotless and it was quiet with no noise coming through from the corridors. Fantastic location, opposite the lido and with great views of the bay. Easily accessible by bus to the centre of St Helier and other attractions in Jersey.

Only one tiny thing. The coffee machines used in the breakfast hall were the only weak point in the well organised and well presented breakfast in the dining room. This was despite the hotel calling out an engineer. As I said a minor thing and as frustrating for the staff in the dining room during the busy breakfast rush as for people wanting coffee.

Lovely staff, who were really helpful. Lovely room. Lovely location, on the beachfront, right opposite the sea lido. I could easily walk from the hotel into town, but there's a bus stop just outside if you prefer to take a bus. You could also get a bus directly to Gorey from outside the hotel, which is a great place to visit for watersports, cafes and restaurants. Ommaroo was perfect for my trip.
