The place is fantastic. Worth every dollar spent on. The place is nice. The staff was super friendly. The service is awesome. It got free parking. Meals are incredible. I booked a room with private hot spring and I did not regret it. The staff was exceptionally helpful with everything I asked. Definitely exceed my expectations. Highly recommend staying at this place for a night or two in Yufinin.

A few bugs were found in the common green area in the hotel but it was totally understandable as the hotel is situated at a rather rural area. Still strongly recommending this place.

The whole experience was amazing and despite some language barriers with the staff their kindness and hospitality were clearly felt. The location was perfect, the room was spacious, and the private outdoor bath with a view of Mt Yufu was heaven. The food was great but worth noting that the meal is crafted around a Japanese palate.

The room was a bit old and could benefit with some maintenance. The public onsens were very small with one of the onsens in renovation. Luckily we got to enjoy the private onsen in our room

It was very prepared services, and all of staffs were very kind and helpful. Especially, their Kaiseki contents were extraordinary and well distributed for nutritionally. Also, it was very tasty. I can always go back there again whenever a chance comes.

Their facility was very clean, but may want to consider little more detailed touches of cleaning as a greedy hope.

The dinner portion was too much, there is only 2 of us. The portion can feed 3 people🤭 . Value for money, food was amazing & staffs are so friendly. We call one hour beforehand to hotel ask for pick up service by train station. Driver was there prefect timing to pick us up & check in & start our dinner at 6:30pm. The location was perfect walk distance to the famous lake to see the morning magic at 7am a.m.

The only funny experience is that the water temperature in the public onsen was not hot enough. But the one in our private room was good hot temperature.

The parking lot for property is gravel and not paved. It made it hard for rolling luggage up from the parking to the front entrance and people who used cane or wheel chair makes it a bit challenging.

Everything was excellent and the staff were so kind and accommodating.

It was a bit far from the station, but the shuttle was excellent and a life saver.

The very sincere and friendly staff, authentic ryokan atmosphere , private outdoor onsen, as well as exceptional japanese cuisine made our memorable trip.

The doorway of our room has a shadow headroom, which gives us an unpleasant feeling. The fridge shouldn't be in the bedroom.

amazing ryokan! clean, tranquil and spacious. nicely tucked away but just a few minutes walk from the Yufuin main street and Kinrin lake. staff are absolutely superb. room with private open air bath and the delicious half board are a must try.

Wonderful service from the staff. Location was great, close to the shopping/food street. Pickup and drop off service available to/from the JR station
