The location (walking distance to supermarket and restaurants, 10 mins to Niseko by car, 40 mins to Rusutsu by car), cleanliness, facilities (washing machine) and amenities. The room is small, minimalist and cosy. Recommend the bunk bed configuration if climbing up and down isn't an issue - it provides additional space for storage. Staff were polite and are onsite until 10pm in Room 101 to assist with check-in and other queries (but will stay in the room until they realise that you are waiting for them or clueless, which was fine).

No reserved parking in the parking lots. It would have been helpful to have marked spots (with cones or something similar) as car parked with varying amounts of space between them. That said, we didn't have a problem with finding parking (visited during the off-peak season in March). Rooms are not entirely soundproof - you will hear footsteps and water gushing but otherwise manageable, especially with earplugs.

The room was mostly quiet, clean and equipped with a small kitchenette. There is a kettle and a soup/noodle pot which worked well. There are supermarkets within walking distance and the train station is also close. There is a great coffee shop nearby, Sprout. The self service hotel is great as you can easily checkin and out at your own pace. The staff were nice when I did interact with them.

The kitchenette was missing a frying pan and cutting knife. It has plates and cutlery but nothing to cook with on the hotplate. There is a restaurant across the road and on some nights people come out late and talk loudly for a long time so its hard to sleep. The bus service to the resorts aren't regular so if you don't get up super early then your only option is to wait until lunchtime or catch a taxi.

It's great value for money if you don't want to spend thousands on accommodation in Niseko. The bus to Niseko goes close by and there's tons of amazing restaurants nearby the hotel.

A closet was needed and more hangers. I thought the room would be interiored to perfection giving the small space but there was so much wasted space. You need to be good friends to live this close in long time.

After snowboarding the whole day, it was nice to have a hot water kettle for water or tea. The kitchenette had everything we needed -- plates, napkins, utensils, and mugs. Also, Chromecast was nice to have when we just wanted to relax and enjoy Netflix. The water got hot quickly and the water pressure was great for showers. The room and hotel was very quiet.

The tissues to blow my nose were very thin quality. We could have also used a couple more hangers for gear and clothes.

Although small rooms they are very cozy and have everything you need. Bed is super comfortable and we managed just fine with having all our snowboarding gear in there. Also very clean. Great location also for niseko and rusutsu resorts. A lot of amazing places to eat all within walking distance and also great to have a place to park the car

Great location if you want to travel to more than just niseko as long as you have a car. Super clean and central in Kutchan for all the restaurants and night life. Be prepared that the rooms are very tight, especially with snowboard bags and luggage but as long as you set it up so that everything goes back in its place it’s a great little room. We’ll be back next time we’re in Hokkaido!

The beds were firm but that’s to be expected in Japan.

We had the best room, on the 5th floor and in a corner. The room is equipped with a kitchen, which was very great because there aren’t many restaurants out there. We bought food from supermarket and this is the best way to enjoy food in this town. The restaurants are too bad and expensive for no reason…

The room was quite small

Great use of space! My husband loved the design of the twin beds. This was a little bit of late reservation but easy check in, comfortable beds, it has everything you need! Location it is about 7-10 min walk from the station, not bad! Keep in mind it gets harder to walk and drag your luggage in the snow. Definitely would come back!

Located in the centre of Kutchan town, lots of restaurants within walking distance. The room is small but super clean. It has a small pantry for cooking too. Very well designed for such a small space.

Great spot, easy to check-in and out plus a really nice and clean interior.

Walls do not have the best sound Isolation (at night it is usually quiet but you might hear your neighbors conversation)
