Amazing, affordable, attention to detail - the three most important things when it comes to accomodation! We booked 2 rooms for 2 people as was super affordable for Niseko, the rooms are huge with everything you need: seperate bathroom and toilet, hooks EVERYWHERE, really good storage, fridge, kettle, tv, view of Yotei every morning. Easy to park and to get to main Hirafu or Kutchan, there is a bus but we had a car so didn’t use. Also if you rent your gear from Rhythm, they come to the ski room to collect it for you! Common room to cook if you want too, food onsite and also amazing gym and massage. Was very pleasantly surprised by this ‘3 star’, is better than alot of ‘5 stars’ I have stayed out. Will be back for sure!

Staff very always friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves decent food and dinner is very affordable. Storage available for snow gear. The hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk out of Hirafu town centre. Transport to the ski lifts is convenient, with a free shuttle bus stopping in front of the hotel every 20 minutes. However, coming back in the late afternoons or evenings was more complicated, as bus departure points and times are not always convenient. Getting a taxi in Niseko is also slow and expensive. As a result, I mainly ended up walking back in the evenings, which can be longish and coldish.

Very well connected by bus services to the ski resorts. Rooms were very well planned with lots of storage, even though the rooms were small, the 3 of us were able to store our belongings easily. Common rooms were good to catch up with others in our group staying in other rooms. Staff were great at organising transfers to the main town centre at check in and check out so we didn't have to lug our baggage through the snow and buses.

No cutlery provided. Bunk beds were very creaky, earplugs recommended for a decent night sleep The restaurant for dinner was a bit lacking, plan ahead for better meal options elsewhere.

Staff were excellent and helpful, answering any and all questions I had. The free Hanazono skii shuttle (services directly to the bottom of both Hirafu and Hanazono) stops within the hotel parking lot in both directions so it is super convenient if you want to visit both resort areas. Skii Gear storage was good with Rythm even allowing you to leave your gear there for them to pick up themselves saving you a return trip. The rooms themselves are as good as you can ask for, reasonably spacious with a decent bathroom. It even had a decent sized fridge with a freezer. If you find something to genuinely complain about with your room I would be impressed.

Room is clean and spacious. Common cooking room and laundry room are on every level and clean and bright. Plenty of usb wall chargers around the beds. Free shuttle bus right at door step even if the route is limited otherwise local bus stop is just on the main road outside the hotel. The free shuttle bus brings you directly to Hanazono ski resort but only to a stop near Hirafu ski resort. Walking distance to convenience store (about 350m) and some eateries including a very popular soba restaurant. International clinic is just across the street. I didn't ski but noted there is a ski storage room. Hotel also provides free transport to Hirafu Welcome Centre. Very happy with hotel and staff.

A bit of a distance to walk from Niseko town (about 1.2km) to hotel

Midtown Niseko is an ideal base for exploring the beauty and charm of Niseko. The location is absolutely perfect—close to major attractions and surrounded by stunning mountain views One of the best parts of staying here is the abundance of local eateries nearby. From cozy ramen shops to fresh Hokkaido seafood and international cuisine, there’s something for every taste just a short walk away. The area has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a true taste of Niseko!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at MIdtown Niseko this winter when we came to ski for 3 days. The room is great for two people and has a heater for hanging up all your ski gear at the end of the day. We took the bus in from CTS airport to Hirafu Welcome Center and reserved the free pick-up shuttle with the hotel before checkin. Each day, we took the free Hanazono bus which picks up and drops off from in front of the hotel to get to Hirafu. Upon check-out, we also reserved the free hotel shuttle which took us and all our luggage back to the welcome center to catch the Chuo Bus to Sapporo. The lobby is huge and very comfortable, as we had some time after checking out. There is also a small gym that closes at 10pm and a gear storage closet. One of our party members rented skis from Rhythm and we learned that Midtown Niseko is a partner of Rhythm so we could just return the rental gear at the hotel which was super convenient.

Breakfast was okay, probably would not get it next time we stay.

The ski resort is in a beautiful location, and is equipped with everything you need for a ski/snowboard trip. The staff was great and the resort was nice and clean. We really liked how comfortable our room was with its heated coat hanger, spacious bathroom area, desk, comfortable beds and plenty of storage. There are shuttle buses departing from the entrance of the resort which makes it very convenient to access the slopes.

If you'd like to walk to the slopes, restaurants or a convenience store, it takes longer as the resort is situated a bit farther from the centre of Hirafu. This wasn't a problem for us, but something to consider!

I had a car and was able to use the carpark but did have to move the car daily for snow clearing. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from the Grand Hirafu main area. The are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. They had a gear storage area in the ground floor with an entrance by the bus stop. The bus to Grand Hirafu and Hanazono was at the entrance of the hotel so it was very convenient. The rooms were decently sized and comfortable. The heater had hooks so it was easy to dry gear in the room.

Clean and efficiently designed rooms with amenities. Staff are very helpful in both English and Japanese. They came to pick us up from the bus parking area and also took us back as well. Also, we were able to leave our rental equipment in the locker area and the rental company picked them up! Nice service. We had a view of the slopes! Restaurant in the lodge offers great breakfast and had some great dishes at night!

The location is a bit far from ski resorts and restaurants. However, the bus services are excellent.
