The Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront is the best hotel in Brighton. The Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront is exceptional because of the high standard of customer service and comfort. The hotel is in a great location with the beach on one side and the old part of town on the other side, staff were very friendly and efficient , the room was very clean and had a great view of the beach and Brighton pier. Great spacious and comfortable foyer and lounges.

There was a problem with no hot water , this was resolved. The front and back entrances need major upgrades as neither entrances do the hotel justice, the glass and revolving door at the back entrance was very dirty and the entrance was very drab, the front entrance was also very drab and univiting both entrances masking a very nice hotel

Having stayed at the hotel on several occasions I was surprised to be asked when checking in at 1 pm (not expecting my room to be ready but just checking in luggage) to be asked if I wanted to pay £20 for early check in!! Surely if room is ready what is the harm in checking in after paying nearly a £180.00 for less than a 24 hour stay. I also was disappointed to find after waiting a considerable length of time to be served in the lounge area that even though two members were having a good old chit chat they were unable to take an order for our drinks we had to go to the desk order and pay on spot. I then had to unfortunately chase for a small food order. Not really welcoming service.

A very clean hotel with friendly staff. Lovely lobby, clean elevators and hallways. This hotel is superb value for money. Not a single negative thing to remark about the hotel itself honestly. Nice roomy room with a clean bathroom and a nice hot shower. Best bed in 10 years of travelling. All the amenities you would expect and more (coffee, water, wine, biscuits, ... ). Friendly staff who help set up a baby-bed. The carpark-rate is cheaper as a hotel-resident than visitor, this is a plus!

The carpark under the hotel is not a very nice place. smelly elevator, unclear where to park, very busy during the day and not a very nice smell.

Excellent location - beach at the front and "The Lanes" at the rear, the staff were amazing very friendly and they helped us with sorting the payment for the rooms in a way so the each person in my group could pay individually, They also kept us on the same floor which really helped us to spend time together. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean and looking over the inside of the hotel which was very nice. The night staff went above and beyond to help us with some tea and toast!! We all had such a lovely time here and would love to come again.

The front of the hotel around the doors and glass needs some cleaning.

The location was 10/10; perfect. Restaurants, entertainment, and the beach were all within walking distance (we didn't need to use any transportation at all). We stayed for 3 nights and all main attractions were on our doorstep (the beach, the upside down house, The Lanes, the 1st stop of the Red Bus Tour, Brighton Pier, The Pavilion, The Secret Comedy Club and the most exquisite dining experiences). The hotel staff were amazing. I received a call from Jerome on the morning of our stay to inform us that we were being upgraded to a seafront view room for our personal celebration. The gesture was so kind, and the staff were all amazing; always smiling and willing to help. It is no wonder that people say that Brighton is a happy place to visit. I have already recommended this to friends and family. Car parking is always important to me, and the hotel did not disappoint. Great car park under the hotel with good lift access. The price of the car park is not cheap, but it's the price you pay for secure, convenient car parking.

The room service kept clashing with our time in the room. Room service was either too early (and we needed our rooms after the morning spa), or too late (we would get back from the excursions and the rooms were not freshly cleaned). But this is very minor compared to the excellent location and wonderful staff.

The room with a sofa was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable for sleeping, and towels were soft. It was clean and well stocked with coffee, tea and water. They include a tea pot too. The breakfast was wonderful and well above average with many hot items as well as fresh fruits. The ocean view was exactly what we were seeking. Access to "the lanes" was a perfect plus.

Extra charge to checkout at noon rather than 11. Pool was a little small. Rooms are not soundproofed and as it was a bank Holiday there were children running through the hallways in the evenings when trying to sleep.

The service and facilities here at this hotel are excellent. From check in to check out we had a wonderful time. Hotel staff are child friendly and cant do enough for you. They truly make your stay and unforgettable one. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again on our next family weekend getaway to Brighton and will be recommending to our friends and family with small children to consider staying here aswell. The hole hotel smells beautiful and the cleanliness is exceptional. The Leonardo hotel has such a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast buffet big thumbs up 👍 great options for everyone including a separate Gluten free area, the restaurant really has done well in catering for everyone. It's giving all inclusive buffet breakfast like you would expect from a 5 star hotel abroad. Swimming pool here again 10 out of 10 child friendly and extremely clean. We took our 2 year old swimming in the evening, pool is heated and staffed throughout opening hours. Towel's available for gueat free of charge. Suna and steam room here are a lovely addition. Plus very modern gym. Couldn't recommend this place enough, don't let the outside appearance of this hotel fool you. I have stayed in other hotels in Brighton previously like the Grand Brighton and Regency hotel and the Leonardo Royal's interior is as beautiful if not more luxurious than some of the bigger named hotels on the seat front. Definitely worth staying here you and your family won't regret it.

Very Convenient Location for Shops, Seafront and Nightlife

As is normal for Brighton. £30 to park car overnight Perhaps a matter of taste but the "New Carpet" design in the dining area running the length of the raised area next to the seafront windows whilst intended to represent crashing waves looks more like spilt milk gone mouldy - sorry
