I stayed in the Executive Room with Full Sea View. This room is outstanding. The breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend the Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront 👌

Having stayed at the hotel on several occasions I was surprised to be asked when checking in at 1 pm (not expecting my room to be ready but just checking in luggage) to be asked if I wanted to pay £20 for early check in!! Surely if room is ready what is the harm in checking in after paying nearly a £180.00 for less than a 24 hour stay. I also was disappointed to find after waiting a considerable length of time to be served in the lounge area that even though two members were having a good old chit chat they were unable to take an order for our drinks we had to go to the desk order and pay on spot. I then had to unfortunately chase for a small food order. Not really welcoming service.

A very clean hotel with friendly staff. Lovely lobby, clean elevators and hallways. This hotel is superb value for money. Not a single negative thing to remark about the hotel itself honestly. Nice roomy room with a clean bathroom and a nice hot shower. Best bed in 10 years of travelling. All the amenities you would expect and more (coffee, water, wine, biscuits, ... ). Friendly staff who help set up a baby-bed. The carpark-rate is cheaper as a hotel-resident than visitor, this is a plus!

The carpark under the hotel is not a very nice place. smelly elevator, unclear where to park, very busy during the day and not a very nice smell.

Very Convenient Location for Shops, Seafront and Nightlife

As is normal for Brighton. £30 to park car overnight Perhaps a matter of taste but the "New Carpet" design in the dining area running the length of the raised area next to the seafront windows whilst intended to represent crashing waves looks more like spilt milk gone mouldy - sorry

The bed was comfy & the staff were lovely.Any problems were addressed quickly & without a fuss. Martin the handy man was absolutely brilliant. What a wonderful chap. An absolute gent

I hardly slept due to noise [until 4.30am] from a bar or club. It sounded as though it was next door. Plus the taxi rank outside. Room 112 needs triple glazing - not double. The "air freshner" in the lobby/communal areas is way too strong. Plus, I think, not natural ingredients [I had to use my nebulizer after being in those areas as my lungs hurt]. I ate a pear & it tasted of the reception!

Really close to the sea and pier, reception staff helpful and pleasant. We had an upgrade and some treats for my birthday a lovely touch. The shower was good and bed comfy. Breakfast was amazing so much choice definitely worth the money. Easy walking distance to restaurants locally we did not eat in the hotel restaurant for dinner. Fab view lovely quiet room.

Car parking costs but as the hotel does not have parking we parked in the Lines the hotel gives a discount but still very expensive. Put the clean room on the door when we went out first day and returned in the afternoon to find nothing had been done despite the cleaning team on that floor. The receptionist quickly sorted this for us. Not much to complain about we had a nice time,

The rooms (3) were spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The view from 2 of the rooms were good - 1 sea view and 1 view of the town hall. The breakfast was of a good standard with many food options available' The check-in receptionist (Ellie) was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable.

The car parking was a little chaotic. It was bank holiday weekend so the car park was very busy and hotel customers had to wait for a space to become available - this did happen though. The pillows were quite hard and it was difficult to sleep with both pillows. The organisation of tables for breakfast was at times challenging. Some of the furnishings/carpets were in need of updating

Upon arrival the staff were friendly and went above & beyond for my boyfriends birthday, offering a goody bag with wine and a free room upgrade! Upon entering the room, it was spotless clean! Beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in! Facilities of the pool, sauna and steam room were an amazing addition to our stay! On our last night we ended up extending our stay an extra night we was so happy with the experience and didn’t want to leave! Everything from the room, the buffet breakfast, the facilities and the staff were excellent and we will definitely be coming back!

Price is a little high but would happily pay again for a special occasion
