The personnel was very friendly in all communication before and during our stay. We requested a baby cod as well as a reservation for the parking - both were processed quickly and in a very friendly manner.

The breakfast was okay - but nothing exceptional. The coffee from the fully automated machine was not as tasty as we had in other places where you get it manually made. Also the cheese and sausage selection was on the lower end. Still, the choices were plenty including fresh fruit, juices and many sweets.

Amazing view from the hotel room, nice breakfast, very welcoming ppl. I had assumptions and worries about internet speed based on previous guests' feedback, as required to work for some time from the hotel, however, it was 70 Mbps, and any meetings and video calls worked perfectly. I cannot imagine a better hotel in Verbania - go with it if you are nearby

Staff were friendly and very helpful, the bed was so comfortable, I would fall asleep instantly and slept so well throughout the night (I actually want to buy the same mattress) it’s located near the boat port so easy to visit the Borromean Islands and lakeside. the town is a peaceful quiet town and everything is within walking distance which is why the location of the hotel is perfect

Located in front of the lake, close to restaurants, boats. Pedestrian area only. Room was clean and nicely set. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok.

Breakfast could be a little bit better. More sitting area would be welcome e.g. like a room or else. No breakfast possible altogether beyond 4 ppl. Car park was in a field a bit behind but there was no issue (although the weather was dry during the stay, might have been different on rainy season).

Excellent location. Staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. We checked in very late so we got the room at the top floor (5th) with a direct view to the lake. Location is great. Breakfast was good. We liked it.

The wall between the room are thin so you can hear the next door guest snoring at night. :-)

I enjoyed the hotel's prime location right next to the lake and boat station. The breakfast was good, although not exceptional. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, the free parking was a great perk.

I was disappointed to discover that there was no air conditioning in the rooms, despite it being mentioned on the website. On-site, they informed me that there was an issue with it. This seems to be a recurring problem, as many Google reviews have mentioned the same issue for months. During the night, the room became unbearably hot, and I suspect it might be due to an old fridge you could feel it like a heater in the room, as the temperature inside reached 29 degrees Celsius while outside was only 17 degrees.

The size of the room and that I had booked a balcony and instead had just a foot sized step outside the window. Nothing in the minibar but water.

Not much to dislike. If I could wish for one thing, it would be to have a swimmable beach on the lake directly adjacent to the hotel (nearest beach is a 10-15 minute walk from hotel).

Perfect location for a short or extended stay on Lago Maggiore. On the lake across from the ferry terminal to the Borromeo islands and other lake towns. A few steps from the main piazza and good restaurants. Historical building, spacious rooms most of them with a view of the lake, professional courteous staff and parking. Good breakfast.

Hot dishes tired and unreplenished No food available in the hotel after breakfast, though an independant bar next door was very useful ( ten percent reduction for hotel residents )
