I travelled here with my partner in May and had the most amazing week! This family fun hotel had the best view of the sea from our large terrace. The hotel and room was absolutely spotless with all of the facilities we needed. Roberto and his family went out of their way to ensure our stay was a 5 star experience. The family lovingly crafted us a hand made baby girl gift as my partner is expecting in two months which was so thoughtful. The hotel is a 10 min walk to the shops and restaurants with a weekly local opera performance at the end of road. We are already looking to return next year as we felt so at home and couldn’t fault anything. Thank you so much to Roberto and his family. We will see you next year.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Soleado it was like visiting friends, a warm friendly welcome by Roberto, Rosetta, Roberta, Federica & Giovanni awaited us and they did everything they could to make our stay a memorable one. We ejoyed it so much that we didn't want to leave. The Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of beautiful Taromina. Due to the towns location it would remind you of Positano before it became the must see destination that it is today. A delicious and varied breakfast is served daily in the a traditional style rom with views of Taromina. The hotel also has a pool and a small bar that serves a selection of drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices. The rooms are generous in size with a balcony and a very large bathroom. The only thing that we didn't like is the fact that this beautiful great value for money Hotel that is tucked away in a quiet side street of Taromina is only listed as a 2 Star and could easily qualify and compete with a 3 Star Hotel, in our opinion.

The service is absolutely first class. Hotel Soleado is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. This is a family run business & it is obvious that they really care about their customers. The family are incredibly helpful & can’t do enough for you in order to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The hotel is situated in a quiet area on the hillside, but only 5 minutes walk from the main high street and about 15 mins walk from the bus station. We loved the traditional style of the hotel and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We were fortunate to have a room with a terrace, we loved to sit out in the early morning or evening and soak up the view. The room itself was large and had a newly refurbished bathroom - again an excellent size. It was great to have a lovely pool area too, most welcome to have a cool dip after a busy outing. We particularly enjoyed visiting the nearby beach club at Mazzaro, Letojanni called Playa Soleluna. It only costs €15pp to access the beach club and this includes private transport to and from the beach club & rental of sunbeds and unbrellas. Very good value compared to some of the beach clubs in Taormina and with the bonus of door to door service. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel & hope to stay again.

Had an amazing 5 night holiday here and loved every second. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, polite and attentive, and nothing was too much. The breakfast was fresh, homemade and extremely delicious with a mix of traditional Italian dishes and homemade pastries, with a beautiful vista out of the breakfast window. The pool was perfect with plenty of space, we often had it to ourselves in the second week of July and was a lovely sun spot! The room was basic but more than comfortable and spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom. It was so clean that I walked face first into the shower door thinking it was open when we arrived (true story)! The location was less than a 5 minute from the main street, and en route was a small supermarket which was very very convenient and had everything you could need. The hotel was also away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town which was lovely. Honestly could not recommend enough, lovely staff, clean and well looked after room, beautiful pool and ideal location. We hope you have as lovely a stay as we did :)

Genuinely nothing whatsoever

This property is EXCEPTIONAL from the quiet & central location to the super friendly and helpful staff to the immaculately clean hotel. Upon check-in, we received an upgrade to a beautiful ocean view room with a large wrap-around balcony, The breakfast was fantastic (including the happy face in our breakfast cappuccino foam . The front desk staff were very helpful with suggestions for sights to see and activities to consider. Literally a few minutes walk outside the city centre, it is worth the quiet area and hillside views. The shower pressure and temperature was excellent! Our ferry back to Malta was cancelled at the last minute and Roberta at the front desk was so amazing - she helped us book our flight back to Malta on the hotel's computer. I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful seaside town of Taormina. This place is a GEM!

Everything was wonderful!

We spent 1 week here in September 2022 as a couple - we loved our stay! The hotel and room were spotlessly clean. The room was a good size, and we enjoyed the pool, although be mindful it is very shallow! Beds were comfortable, although we had to request more pillows which were provided. Air con works well in the rooms. Showers were fantastic. Our room did not have a safe, which would have been good. There was a mini-fridge which was stocked with drinks was great. The staff were the star of this hotel - they made us feel incredibly welcome, saying hello every time they saw us, and were very helpful in explaining Taormina using a map and informing us of the different attractions around. We left the hotel on check-out day at 5.45am for our flight - we spoke to the hotel staff the day before and they offered to make us a pack up breakfast and coffee in a thermos so we could have breakfast in the room - we felt this was really great customer service and they went out of their way to offer this! Location: A short walk, 10 minutes or less to the start of the main street in Taormina, and also the cable car down to the beach. About 15 minutes walk to the bus terminal. 5 minutes to the nearest shop. Only areas for improvement - newer towels would be great - ours were worn and a bit scratchy to use. And also the Wifi - you have to re-connect each day, rather than being able to log in once and use for your whole stay. We would also have liked a safety box. We enjoyed breakfast - simple of italian foods - breads, pastries, cakes, meats, fruit, yoghurt, cereal - so you can mix it up each day. Included juice and coffee. We would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful family/staff in this hotel - you really made our stay wonderful, and we would recommend your hotel!

Lovely family run hotel. Situated in a quiet location away from the mayhem of Taormina but close walking to all you want to see. This family works so hard to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Excellent communications before we arrived. Nothing is too much trouble. We loved Hotel Soleado - everything from the friendly welcome to the delicious breakfast. The place is kept spotlessly clean and we loved the location close to the walking path for Castelmola. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

We loved everything 😍

We booked our stay at Hotel Soleado at the last minute and it was the highlight of our trip. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The parking situation was very flexible which was helpful. The facilities were very clean! The rooms had everything we needed, including a lovely balcony to enjoy the view. My only wish is that we’d come in the summer and could have enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was wonderful, a great variety of options for everyone. The bar was a lovely final stop in the evening before we went to our rooms.

The only thing I would love to see an improvement on is the mattresses in the bedroom, they were very hard, not the most comfortable to sleep on.

The hotel was lovely, laid out on lots of levels with plants everywhere. The location was lovely for us, slightly away from the town centre but still within 10 minutes walking distance of the town. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and cleaned every day. The bathrooms were big, and the water pressure was good in the shower. It's a family run hotel, and all of the staff were so lovely and friendly who went out of their way to help. The breakfast was plentiful, and there were loads of options to choose from cereal, savoury like omelette, cheese and ham, and the coffee tasted great.

There was no kettle 😕 ! There were plentiful options americano, cappuccino, expresso, and tea options in the dining room, but I really missed being able to make a cup of tea in the room.

We were very happy to make this reservation for this Hotel. The owners (family) were wery kind, helpful and superfriendly. There were extra services like the parking was done by the owner of the hotel, we were able to go to the beach organised by the hotel with minibus (and the return ). Our room was very big and convinient, and clean. The íhotel has a swimming pool two, so we think it is minimum a 3 stars hotel! When we will go back to Taormina, we will chose this hotel again. We recommend it for everybody!
