Very impressed with my stay. I will be travelling a few times a year to Glasgow now and I will now only be booking to stay here . They were so accommodating and helpful as I was travelling alone with my dog. Everyone was very friendly , the room was smart , comfortable and clean and very spacious too. I had a nice view of the racetrack which was just a bonus . Seating areas downstairs were separate for people with a dog but they were still comfortable and nice clean areas. I had breakfast in the morning and the food was lovely.

Only thing I would change is that dogs can be left in the room unattended. For obvious reason dogs aren’t allowed in the food area in the morning and evenings however because I couldn’t leave my dog in my room and I travelled alone i had to take him down for breakfast with me . This wasn’t a problem as a staff member from the hotel was happy to sit with my dog at my table whilst I got my food and my dog is friendly and sociable so wasn’t a problem for me however for some this may be an issue if dog is not friendly.

The breakfast was fantastic. We are vegan so there is always the thought there won't be much for us. They were exceptionally quick at bringing us the alternative milk and vegan options. The food was super fresh and plenty of space to move around to get food during the busy times. Great lunch and dinner options for all diners - vegan options too! Met the Chef and he was lovely and helpful. The room although a two single beds (they were huge) was lovely, tastefully done and had a lovely bathroom with powerful shower. Very clean! Staff were all super lovely and helpful and it wasn't a problem to be in the foyer/lounge for the day. Gym was good too, pretty much everything you would need for a full workout both strength training and cardio.

There really isn't anything I didn't like - would be nice if there was a sauna or pool but that really is asking for the moon and stars!

This is a fabulous hotel. Great location with a wonderfully welcoming team, that are so friendly and helpful. The design and ambience of the hotel is excellent. Excellent facilities all round. The food is excellent, from the breakfast on offer to the lunch menu. They also do an evening menu but, we've not tried that yet. We go every year and honestly really enjoy our stay each time. The rooms are so quiet and peaceful with very comfortable beds.

The duvet was very thin and for the winter months we were all very cold in the night and the hotel doesn't have extra warm blankets to offer. It would be better if they had thick duvets for the winter time. We don't like to keep the heating on in the night as you can hear the system running and it keeps us awake. They have synthetic pillows on offer if you don't like the feather filled pillows like me but you have to ask for them. Would be better if they were in the wardrobe so you can choose and use without waiting for them to be delivered to your room. And if I had to be picky the toilet paper is very cheap and not nice but hey, not the end of the world.

Welcoming staff from the moment I got in the door. Had a lovely meal in the bar/lounge. Room was very clean and had everything you need for a 1 or 2 night stay. Being wheelchair user, the accessible room was exactly that, great room to get moving about and excellent bathroom facilities, the shower was actually over the shower seat. Breakfast was good, I didn't have any cooked food but a good selection of others.

I was only staying for 1 night so didn't bother me but I can imagine for longer stays and more business type would like a rail for hanging clothes which is accessible (not sure if this isn't possible due to the glass end on the wardrobe. Chair in the room didn't look comfortable amd was very dirty/outdated. I used it just to sit my clothes on.

Location was good, close to shops and options for food, and close to park and racecourse for getting out for a run. Bed was comfortable, A/C in room is good. Staff were friendly. Dinners were just ok but I preferred the more relaxed nature of it compared to some hotels that act like a restaurant. Just order and pay rather than sitting around waiting.

Only 2 teabags left with the tea station by the cleaners, such a strange way to save money but really annoying if you drink tea while working in the room. No fridge in room is also annoying for longer work stays. Keycards wouldn't work while I was there, they blamed the microsoft issue but there were work arounds that they could have done. I shouldn't have ask for help to open a door to the stairs, just leave it open for a day or two. Either way, it shouldn't have taken most of a week to sort the issue.

The overnight stay was amazing but when we went down for breakfast the following morning we had to wait 20 minutes for cutlery which made our breakfast cold, eventually when we got cutlery we had to get more breakfast so it was warm & we could enjoy it, we had a coffee as well that wasn’t very good at all, my friend had a cappuccino which was just hot milk & my cafe latte wasn’t very good either.. There was no tables that were empty were we could get a table, we eventually got a table which still had dirty dishes on it - in our room our kettle wasn’t working.. Apart from that the 1 night stay was good.. Is there an E-mail address for a manager that I could write to because for what I paid for the overnight I would expect 100%

Unfortunately they only had a wheelchair access room available which was fine in itself however when we woke in the morning and each had a shower omg what an absolute disaster. The shower head was broken and the water just exploded everywhere in the toilet the whole floor was absolutely soaking and was a severe health hazard walking on that floor or even moving slightly was risky how no staff had not checked this when they were cleaning the bathroom beats me

The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Super bar and restaurant - excellent, tasty food and good breakfast. Super Front Desk Staff and good staff in general. Excellent location. Ample parking. We would definitely stay here again. If you are a dog owner and dog lover, lots of people brings dogs along during their stay.

Breakfast times can be very busy and we had to request knives both days - there were ample forks and spoons but no knives. We thought it strange that the window in the room we stayed in, which overlooked the racecourse, was quite small and there was a curtain in front of the wall next to the window, which can be deceiving, indicating that the window is larger than it actually is. For such a super view, the window is rather small.

Kitchen staff were a little aggressive. My husband picked up the wrong tongs (he assumed the green tongs were for the potato's but they were for the bacon) and the staff member grabbed his arm and raised his voice. Which was inappropriate and an over reaction. My husband was gracious and did not make a fuss, however with the wrong guest this could be taken as very combative. I hope he doesn't make ia habit of grabbing guests for a simple mistake especially as children stay at the hotel.

We booked very last minute due to a family member being I'll. We arrived late in the evening after travelling. We were still able to order food which was great and you could also order more back in the room for a small charge. The customer service was excellent. Everything was no trouble. The breakfast was lovely and our room was clean and spacious. Loved the long mirror and dressing table. Plenty of space for you all to get ready. Beds were super comfy. When we left we ordered a takeaway coffee for our travel, which was a Starbucks machine. If your thinking of booking here, don't hesitate. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay and will be back.
