Courteous and helpful staff, clean rooms and good food

visiting in the month of December,we expected hot water all through the day , but that wasn't. The water was just about lukewarm. something they need to work on .

a little bit far from Rishikesh (around 2km)

The manager and some boys at the reception are very helpful and nice. Also they picked me up with scooters from the main road in Tapovam. The room is very big and hotel away from the agitation of the main road. The bed are very comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. Also the restaurants upstairs is very convenient and delivers to your room. Perfect when it rains and you just want to chill inside.

The first time I went there it was really clean and had everything and nice. The second time less clean unfortunately and no hot water for shower but overall it is good for value. It is a good address to be comfortable in Tapovam and away from the noise!

The scenic beautify, calm and soothing looks out from balcony has been amazing. The staff has been curtsious. Mr Rishab has been excellent and helpful. The room has been properly managed. Though the stay has been short yet pleasant. Repeat visit is possible. I may recommend the property to friends and relatives. Thumbs up! Keep it up. Good luck Hotel Shiv Inn. Probably the last stretch approach to the Hotel is not welcoming as metal road is a missing thing. I love to appreciate the facilities in place more positively than to find faults in very minor issues. In my stay all went well . No dislikes at all other than approach road.

The staff, especially Rishabti was very professional, polite and caring. The room was spotless clean, very spacious and everything worked fine. The bed was confy and the blankets and sheets also very clean. There is also a restaurant, which is convenient, all dough we never tried, because we like street food. Hot water available 24h and Wifi is working fine, even in the room. Balcony was also really confy. There was no noise at the property, so we had an excellent sleep.

Well, the property is new, so not all what was mentioned in the ad was there. For instance, there was no TV, which was also not necessary for us. The mentioned garden view was missing and the surrounding of the property is still under construction. Maybe there will be a nice view in the future. Also there was no laundry service available, as promised. All this would be not a big problem for us, if there would be no mention about these features in the ad. Prices in weekends are a little bit high in our perception. Thats why we give only 9 stars out of 10.

The solitude was great. As was having secure parking and nice views from our large well furnished room. Rishabh was very welcoming and looked after us well.

The solitude came at a price..the property is located quite some distance up a very steep hill from the main road in Tapovan and as parking in Rishikesh is somewhat at a premium we left our own car at the hotel which required us to use an auto rickshaw to return to the hotel in the evenings. Walking out of the property however was enjoyable , downhill past several other nice looking hotels and a waterfall. As I like my Tele it would have been nice to have a couple of tv channels in English.

The room was really nice compared to other places we've stayed in India. The bed is really comfortable, the bathroom looked good and you can have a hot shower, and everything was clean. We ended up staying for 2 more nights, given it was such a nice room for a good price (even though the price went up for around 100 rupees, not sure why). The location is not the one showing on booking's map, rather check Google maps. It's up the hill, but honestly we didn't find that to be a problem, it's not that long of a walk, and it just means you're away from the noisy main street.

Right from the minute we arrived, Rishab at Front Desk took care of all our needs and requests with a warm smile. Vijay was also very helpful. Then Ankit, who handled everything onwards, along with Anuj, formed a fantastic tag team to give us a VIP experience, whether it was setting up a bonfire for dinner on the terrace (which was special Indian cuisine cooked to perfection by Chef Santosh), or organizing our requests on priority, serving us everytime with a smile, lugging our luggage up and down when needed. Both were on call 24/7 and willing to bend backwards to get us what we wanted. The room itself was very well kitted out for the price we paid, hot showers, a spacious balcony, convenient charging points, clean sheets and well maintained. We were very impressed. It was a magical stay.

Roads leading to the resort could be better paved.

This place is a new place and exceeds expectations, be it location or service. It's a family environment where even the owner of the place takes extreme good care of their guests and needs. Centrally located in Tapovan and easy to drive, walk around. The new years party arranged by the hotel was an icing on the cake, especially for solo travellers like me where I could meet and enjoy the night with the other guests. Hats off to shri Mishra ji the owner and his entire staff for making my stay as comfortable as possible.

Everything was excellent

The staff specifically was something i loved about.Harshwardhan,Rishab and Tushar made us so comfortable and gave us feel home experience.With a toddler of 2.5 years ,we had thought how we would manage .But they were so caring that they went out of their way for all that we sought for.The dinner at the terrace was something i will remember from this place..And the service by these guys was that leveraged our experience in rishikesh.The cooks were also amazing,food was also at its best flavours.
