Very comfortable room, a good size with plenty of storage - good size bathroom with walk in shower. Good continental breakfast, always plenty on offer. Nice outdoor space probably more suitable for the Summer as its quite shaded. Great location with only a 10 minute walk into central historic area. Very quiet during the night, nearby area was buzzy with restaurants and bars, felt very safe walking and using public transport.

a bit more room at breakfast would be useful, they are a popular hotel and can be a little short of tables until the weather warms up and the outside space can then be used - not normally a problem but if you have a flight to catch bear that in mind.

A wonderful hotel with amazing staff! From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The rooms are cozy and very clean. The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the train and metro lines, and 10 minutes to Marienplatz. The breakfast is nice, varied, and fresh. But what I liked most about the hotel was definitely the staff. From the reception to the breakfast service, everyone is professional, helpful, and friendly. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Munich.

Loved our stay here! Great location, just in a quieter part of town and only about 10 mins to the old town centre. The staff are delightful and super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too, plenty of choice for all tastes. Our room was lovely and spacious (but oh for a fridge!) and the shower was hot and fab at the end of a hard day exploring! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

No mini fridge ☹️…..the room needs a mini fridge!! After a day outside in 30C+ to have a cold drink in our room would have just made our stay perfect!

Breakfast was wonderful, I've never seen such a selection of berries in any hotel, ever. Staff were very helpful and friendly, made us tea and hot chocolate even when it wasn't meant to be available. Hotel location is pretty good, one S-bahn stop from Marienplatz (centre) or about 20 min walk.

Bed made a crunching noise when you sat on it and was very hot to sleep on - my back was sweating all night. It turned out that it had a waterproof mattress protector on it! Never in all my years of travelling I've ever seen that. I understand why, but seriously, you are running a hotel not a nursing home - it's so uncomfortable!

A fabulous small hotel in Old Town Munich. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and staff were friendly and obliging. The location is fabulous! You can pretty much walk to most things or there is public transport near by. The Christmas Markets in Marienplatz is a short walk and the Old Town is the nicest area in Munich to stay in. Breakfast was the best and there was a great variety of fresh foods each morning. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas and we would love to come back one day.

This is our second stay and we got upgraded to a suite without being asked so that was a treat! There was tons of space, 2 bathrooms(!) and beautiful light/windows. Really gorgeous, big room. The location is great--walkable to everything but very quiet and unassuming area. Amazing breakfast with really kind staff.

There was no air conditioning in the room. I'm not sure if that's true of all the rooms or just this one. I remember air conditioning last year we stayed but I could've been mistaken. It wasn't a huge deal while we were there but the weather was quite nice so we didn't need it.

This hotel was wonderful! The location is perfect - a 10 minute walk to the best parts of town - Old Town, shopping and great restaurants. Also a quick walk from the train station. The room was very clean and comfortable, and a great size for European rooms (happy surprise!). Loved the heated bathroom floors. The staff were super friendly and available to help, and the breakfast was excellent. We will absolutely stay here again when in Munich.

Spacious room & bathroom. Bed was comfy! There was plenty of space for our two big bags and to get ready. Great bathroom & shower, also quite spacious - especially compared to many European hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a great coffee shop next store, Caffè Da Me and it's only a short walk to the Marienplatz ~10 mins. It was the perfect location for exploring Christmas markets around Munich!

The shower head kept falling out of the holder. It wasn't a big issue, but meant you had to hold the shower head most of the time. We couldn't figure out how to turn the heat down in the room. It was just a little too warm at night. We asked the front desk the next morning and they explained how to change it. Not a problem, just worth asking ahead of time!

Excellent option in Munich, we were very happy with our staying at Admiral hotel. Location is perfect with less than 15 min walking from Old Town and a bonus: only 4 minutes from a station that take you straight from the airport through S line. Staff was very helpful, they’ve advised on the partnership with a nearby parking since I rent a car for 2 day trips from Munich. Breakfast full of options and our room was very comfortable for our family of 3 (they transformed sofa in a bed to our daughter and didn’t charge us. In summary, fully recommended.

Honestly, I can’t list anything as it suited us very well. Perhaps filling the bottle of water during / after cleaning the room would be great (you can do that by yourself downstairs) or providing mineral water bottles.

The room was very spacious and bright. The location was great, since the hotel is within walking distance from the old town, but is located on a quiet street.

The floor in the room and in the corridors was dirty and could do with a proper deep clean. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. There was only one bathrobe in the room even though the room was for two people. And the reception closes at 11 pm, so if your flight is delayed and you arrive after that, you'll probably not be able to get it and have to find another place to stay at.
