We liked the room service breakfast and also the communal breakfast where the variety of food was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Great bed.

Room 101 is almost perfect for an older person who tries to avoid falling. Your bars to hold onto in the shower are excellent. The only problem is that the shower floor is very slippery when wet. A non-slip rubber mat would be helpful.

Very well located. In the heart of the historic center. Walking distance to shopping, restaurant, amenities and transport. The staff that checked us in was very welcoming and helpful - provided lots of information about transport, restaurants and tour recommendations. The room looks quite new and was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Ample closet space and hangers. Only wished that the bath and shower stall were separate. Loved the towel/wall heater. Will stay again.

Separate bath tub and shower stall. Provide a sofa perhaps.

I very much found the location agreeable and enjoyed the immediate access to a lovely city. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept better here than some places because I had asked for a quiet room. Externally it was facing inwards not to any great view but this was perfect for keeping outside street noises to a minimum, especially as it was the weekend. The main noise was from neighbouring rooms but carpets helped. I really liked the bath and shower, the water was hot and pressure good. The staff were all nice.

The door to the toilet, which is inside the smallish bathroom opens inwards and was almost impossible to get around! A bigger person than me might get stuck getting in and out. I just left the door open fully, as a solo traveller it wasn’t an issue but a couple might find it less great.

The staff!!! Super accommodating and friendly staff. They asked me which language I wanted to speak and I told them French. They talked the rest of the time in French. The room is tastefully and traditionally furnished, there is a lovely small sitting area in the reception, and the staff will go out of their way to help you.

The room was smaller than I’m used to. The bathtub was elevated and rather a challenge to step into for the shower. It was a little confusing when we arrived to figure out which floor was the reception. Hint: Take the elevator to Floor zero.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and offered a map with recommendations of popular landmarks to visit around the city. The property is tucked away on a quaint pedestrian street in a very central part of the city. Everything that we wanted to see and do was within walking distance: shopping, cafés, tram, supermarkets, cathedrals, etc. The staff cleaned our room so well - they organized my items neatly and conveniently in the bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to visit Bordeaux!

It was perfect!

When we checked in we were delighted to find we had been upgraded to a suite for our six night stay. All of the staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly . Adaptors were given when we realised that we had forgotten ours . All questions and queries were dealt with immediately. The beds were very comfortable and the location is excellent. There was also a good choice for breakfast. I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Bordeaux.

The location is 100% one of the best in Bordeaux. The room is very good and super clean, the bathroom is really nice, the toilel is good but needs better ventilation. Overall, stay is really good but not the best I have in Bordeaux. It is highly recommended if you are a solo traveller, but lacking a little bit of space for two people.

It is quite small for two people and for what you pay. The corridors, the lift, everything seems to be too small to walk in. Not real deal breakers, but you do expect more, maybe from a four stars hotel.

The location is superb. It‘s located right in the city center next to the shopping street but on a calm and quiet side. The lady that checked us in is very friendly and informative. She gave us tips where to eat and shop and recommended places to visit.

We stayed in the second building, therefore, the breakfast area is very small and doesn‘t match with a 4 star standard. It was crowded at time and you have to wait to be seated. Also, we did not get the complimentary water on the second day. I told the reception about this and she was just acknowledged but without any apologies which I found it unprofessional.

Staff were friendly, especially Ms Emily. She was cheerful, was delightful to chat with and she provided suggestions on various places to visit. Excellent centralised location with a taxi drop off point with just 1min walk away. Room was spacious, and they have the most comfortable beds and pillows compared to other hotels during our holiday.

Perhaps Hotel can provide a small kettle to make tea or other hot drinks.
