Found that the exit to parking lot where are vehicle was park was very close to our room and that getting our bag to the car was fast since we did not have to carry our bags thru the front lobby. The actual check out was very fast. The voucher for Breakfast saved a bit of money and the meal and service was very good.

Well as expected, construction on the entrance to the hotel, was difficult to find since we arrived late(dark) and raining. It was change from last year when we stayed there. Suggest that newbie arrive in day light. We book thru Booking.Com which showed only available rooms with two bed, cooking capability which we did not need. This option was new to me. We check next day and there were other rooms style that had two beds without the cooking appliance. Since the purpose of our trips were always family evens, spent little time in the hotel expect to sleep. We would had prefer the less expensive option of a 2 Bed room with standard amenities. The room was excellent ,clean and all appliances were new and work well.

Very clean and modern. The room did NOT have a bad smell or must smell that so many hotels have. It was very clean.

We had gone to breakfast around 9:45 and there were no seats left on the one side. She asked us if we wanted to order room service or not have breakfast there because of the wait. We already prepaid the breakfast. She seated us on the other side near the bar. It was empty except the 2 employees or repair men. However, we were waiting to be seated, 2 couples who came, they had waited 1-2 minutes and seated them with everyone else. It was awkward because it felt like they didn't want us sitting with everyone for some reason. We could have also waited the extra 2 minutes to be seated, and everyone who came after was made to wait to sit with everyone else. At least an explanation as to why we were singled out would have been nice.

The room met our needs, we did not have Breakfast in the Hotel except my wife purchase a coffee in the restaurant down stair. The bed was firm and clean and the bed sheets and pillows we clean. Since we only stayed two(2) nights we did not need sheets exchange, but the maid provide an exchange of the towels we used. As to the view it was overlooking the parking lot, but that was not issue since we did not stay in the room except to sleep. All the staff were in uniform and helpful during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this location and had stayed there many years ago before you renovated it. It was a major improvement in the location and the staff. The only issue was the Traffic around the hotel, but I guess this is an issue all over Ottawa.

Professional, helpful, friendly staff (wonderful check-in with Sherry and very helpful front desk ongoing support). Very clean room (thanks Emily), comfy beds. Ate in restaurant once...excellent comfort food, very reasonably priced, great service. A very nice, comfortable stay...thank you!

I wish the tubs were more modern. Hopefully they'll all be replaced with walk-in showers one day. Very little flat surface on the tub. Although there was a grab bar and a bath mat, I still felt that I cdnt let my guard down.

The hotel price per night has gone up significantly...which surprised us....the room was facing a brick wall , which was disappointing....We have stayed at the hotel many times in the past and it has been wonderful....the rooms are always very clean and the breakfast very good..The Restaurant staff were excellent and the meals quite good...thank you

Good amount of free parking. Friendly staff. Good to have the Cafe/bar attached - very handy. The room was large and clean.

It didn’t affect me but I don’t like when hotels do not offer daily housekeeping as standard. You have to request it here. It’s not as central to Ottawa as I had envisaged though it’s not a far drive back into downtown. Otherwise all was good.

Pleasant place to stay with friendly staff. We took time chatting with one receptionist while we were waiting for my husband. I appreciated it. The hotel is family friendly and serves Good breakfast 😋

Limited choice for breakfast included in the price. Toothpaste was missing (travelers don't always bring toothpaste and toothbrush with them), it would be nice to have them available in the room .

the room is very quiet and bed is comfortable. Compared the one I liked in Kingston, I like this hotel. And would recommend it to others.

I booked one day in advance. But the frontdesk couldn't find my order in tjeir system and takes long time for them to confirm. I have to wait in the lobby for their conformation. It's a waste of my time.

Extremely pleasant and welcoming place. The staff is very kind, friendly and always available. The rooms are comfortable and spacious If you stay there, don't forget to try the Café 1274 restaurant which serves delicious breakfasts and dinners accompanied by good beers. The chef and staff are very friendly!

The front desk lady ((sorry cannot remember her name) was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. I travelled to Ottawa as my mother (90 years old) was about to pass away - needless to say I was t in the best frame of mind - she helped to make my first day in Ottawa as stress free as she could. Will be ever thankful for her kindness
