The location couldn't be faulted for its proximity to the entrance to the Pyramids/Sphinx enclave. The staff are extremely obliging (Youssef in particular) and helpful in organising drivers and giving advice. Breakfasts were filling and plentiful and couldn't be faulted and served at the rooftop terrace which has a magnificent view onto the Pyramids. Stunning!

There were a number of basic maintenance issues with the room that need to be fixed. While the property itself is clean and secure, immediately outside is a totally different experience, with rough sandy and rocky roads, which unfortunately is the case around this whole neighborhood. Not the fault of Solima, but the local authorities should be ashamed of themselves considering this is immediately at the entrance to the Pyramids and attracts millions of tourists.

You are missing out if you do not stay here! 10 stars in every way, the facilities, the food, and the fantastic hosts Youssef and Marwan. The room is ideal, with comfortable beds, a large fridge, and is very clean. The view from the room balcony and rooftop terrace is incredible. Delicious Egyptian style breakfast served daily on the terrace overlooking the pyramids. The highlight of the stay has to be the generosity and kindness of Youssef and Marwan. They organised all our tours for us and brought us on walks around the city sampling local delicacies. They went above and beyond for us and made us feel like family. They even let us stay past check out when my partner was ill and brought us medicine and water to help. Thanks Marwan and Youssef for everything, ye are the best!

Beautiful stay! Solima pyramids is a perfect place to stay in Egypt the view from the room and the roof top was amazing . The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Hotel solima again. .

The location was amazing and hotel staff were super nice. This is a family own property and all made sure that our stay was pleasant. They helped us for taxi arrangement, where to visit etc. Egyptian breakfast was wonderful on the top terrace with fantastic view of Pyramids and Sphinx. We came for the view and we got it! Thanks for the Egyptian hospitality and we will remember forever.

Small, unpretentious, ultra-friendly family hotel, in the best position you could dream of to visit the pyramids by foot and see them with a delicious breakfast on the rooftop. Sympathetic & super efficient staff who help you with everything, simple but comfortable beds what could be better? We really liked it.

The location is premium first class! You can see all three Pyramids. And a glimpse of the Sphink from the rooftop the price is incredibly cheap, the owner is so helpful without being pushy when I ask for tours. We were able to watch the light show The property is on a compound away from noise and the filth in Giza. Our drivers from tours could easily pick us. There is Pizza hut just outside, we can buy water, fruits just a few steps away. Just a great pace to be. Very clean compound and rooms so large.

Nothing, just that I don't eat Egyptian breakfast, but Youseff offered to give us a patter of fruits. You can see all the decriput buildings in the neighborhood from the rooftop that the government is trying to seize for future mega projects. But, it's another sad story, one must see to appreciate the life here in Giza.

Everything was perfect! Very helpful (late check out, pickup at 3am at the airport…), and responsive. Breakfast was excellent with the best view on the Pyramids (they look much closer in reality than in pictures). Ticket office for pyramids are 2 min away, perfect location!

I liked several things about the property and how comfortable my stay was ,and I appreciate the employees and how helpful and respectful they were( Marwan and Youssef ),they were very welcoming and friendly throughout my stay .Thank you guys for an amazing experience and I will surely be coming back !!

The hotel is situated 5 mins from the entrance of the pyramid complex. But the greatest view is available from the rooftop terrace. The room was well-equipped with cozy beds and a nice view of one of the pyramids. The breakfast was great. We had some eggs with delicious honey-soy sauce, hummus or tahini, juice, bread and what not. We enjoyed dinner on the rooftop too and it was very tasty (it takes them some time to prepare the food but it is written on the menu too). The best part, though, was the staff. Marwan, Yusuf, and the ladies and gentlemen who work there were amazing. They always welcomed us with a smile, helped us with all of our requests (information, takeaway breakfast, driver service, local tips, help with currency exchange and so on), were available at all times. Huge thank you to the team for making our stay great!
