I have nothing to compare this to as I’ve never been to a resort before and perhaps didn’t realise quite what I’d booked. Once I got over this I appreciated the benefits of having a great pool area, beach areas and all the facilities close at hand. It was nice to have the room cleaned daily and towels/bedding changed as needed. The Verudela peninsula is a beautiful coastline, there is a tension between tourist and environment but the balance is ok. It was very easy to catch a bus to Pula which is a great town, particularly the old town.

Our apartment was a little smaller than we’re used to, to sleep 4 the sofa bed is used limiting seating to the kitchen/dining area, so it was nice to have a balcony too. The pool area was vey busy but we planned our days to visit late afternoon and always got loungers. The shop was quite expensive and the restaurants whilst pretty nice and with great staff were all quite similar.

Probably the best place to vacation in Pula, and beyond. Verudela is a great resort with plenty of activities for everyone, especially children. We stayed in one bedroom apartment which was located directly above the pool area so we were just a few steps away from both pool and sea which was very convenient. Pools are very clean, sunbeds are free (although there’s a bit of a rush every morning with guests queuing up to reserve sunbeds) and there’s a very nice restaurant directly at pool area as well. Apartment has all the necessities and is just large enough for family of 4. Hotel staff (and this goes for everyone in resort we interacted with) was very friendly, polite and forthcoming. We had a situation with our AC unit one night and receptionist came over all the way to us at 00:30 to give us a key to another apartment where we could spend the night until our AC was fixed the day after. That was really unexpected and very appreciated.

Apartment building that we were in, as well as some other parts of resort, is showing signs of age and could use some renovation. Gym was rather pricey at 18 eur per day.

The location was great - close to the beaches with lots of facilities (tennis, swimming pool, pickleball, padel ball etc.). Not too far from the old town (15 min car) where there are many good tourist sights, shops and restaurants. The one-bedroom apartment was well equipped and comfortable. There was a supermarket in the compound which was very convenient. There was a nice restaurant, a coffee shop and several gift shops too.

Shower took very long to get warm water; another bathroom had a bit of flooding problem. Also it was a bit expensive.

We loved the location and the facilities, especially the hotel facilities. Our room was bijou (apartment), and we asked for a fold down extra bed, being 2 friends, which was uncomfortable, but reception was notified and gave us an extra mattress. We ate mainly in Olivos restaurant in the evening, lovely food and service,. The great buffet breakfast in the morning, was fabulous and well worth €17 euros each, because we didn't opt for inc breakfast. Everywhere we went, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite The toiletries were a great bonus, great bathroom and shower! Shop, pharmacy and gift shop onsite. Also a couple of clothes wear and beachwear shops. Lovely sitting in the outside bar area of the hotel at night, with fabulous views

Maybe the size of the apartment, ok for 2, but the extra fold down bed we had limited the space

What was not to love? It’s not pictured here (google the hotel) but it’s like a resort with lots of other hotels and when you get there they give you a little map of all the things you can do on the site. There’s restaurants, activities, little shops to buy floats, souvenirs etc. You can also take a walk to the other beaches (but this pool and beach next to this hotel are the best). There’s also lots of greenery everywhere which is nice :) The beach has loads of activities, my fave was paddle boarding :) & At night you can see people going off in their glowing kayaks exploring and scuba divers lighting up the ocean! Pretty cool! They also have squash and tennis courts, and so many other things!! We personally didn’t try them all as we ended up so busy! But you won’t run out of fun things to do here! The kitchenette is helpful and there’s a store on the resort but I recommend getting in a bus and going to a bigger one in Pula if you’re staying for a while because the prices are a tad inflated which is understandable. The bus stop is right outside the hotel, and each way we went was €2. The people there are lovely! And not just at the resort, every interaction we had was lovely. For the way home the receptionist offered to book us a cab and we took it but if you’re looking to save money I recommend getting a shuttle as it cost us €50 We stayed for a week but honestly we could have stayed longer even though we only went out to Pula for one day to see the colosseum and to buy some food. An amazing holiday which exceeded our expectations <3

We should have asked someone… but the map said there was a jazz band and we tried so hard to find it but just couldn’t! Did stumble across a night club (granted not very lively) and other things though! Haha

The pool area had plenty of seating, it was clean, and it was a great place to relax. We ate at a few restaurants. They were a little pricey, but the food was good. Our bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of storage and the kitchen area in our room Had everything we needed.

We didn’t like that we would have to pay to use the gym, and felt it should be included, but we did know that ahead of time. There were several shops, but very few of them were open the entire time we were there and the ones that we used were closed by 2:30 in the afternoon. That was inconvenient.

Superb apartment with sea views. Staff great and very helpful. A few restaurants to choose from. Great beach and marina all accessible. Bus stop just next to complex. Lots of water activities available in the area.

The queuing for sun beds!! People started to queue an hour before the pool opened and then staff struggled to manage them saving more than one bed. Needs to have a better system in place to stop sunbeds being saved for people who are not at the pool! We didn’t bother and just went to the beach. Not much entertainment on for teenage children in the evenings.

Excellent pool and onsite facilities at extra cost (tennis courts/ Restauarant Bonacco/Supermarket ,kayaking, bouncy castle/activity off shore).

Room was split level apartment in Park Plaza. Steep stairs to bedroom may be challenging for some. Otherwise room was modern and well equipped. It was quiet whilst we stayed (Sept 25) but the corridors have hard surfaces and I expect could be noisy if busy.Ample room on roofs for solar power- the dark corridors could benefit from more lighting even during daytime.

Very nice sea view from our room (premium apartment), spacious apartment, which was very expensive though. Supermarket, shops etc. in the complex, beach nearby, lots of sports facilities and entertainment for kids, very good service, friendly staff

The cleanliness could have been better (especially at the beaches, which are all public though, but also in the common hotel area). Most of the entertainment offers for the kids cost extra. The pool was overcrowded and during the day it was impossible to get a free chair or sunbed at the pool. Also, the parking was overcrowded (we were there in august).

4th time staying here. Will return again, and again, and again. The staff is amazing and accommodating. Lots of activities nearby, pool bar/restaurant is very nice with a friendly staff once again. We have brought our dog here 3 times. Lots of walking/exercise opportunities on the compound. Our dog loves it here. Bus station with busses to downtown Pula right outside the main gate is also super convenient! This time we were late booking a room, so we ended booking a studio room, expecting a pull out sofa, but instead we found a very comfortable full size bed.

Nothing. Everything is extraordinary.
