The outside of the building is nice and they keep it clean. The terrace was also nice.

We were in the apartment on the top floor. The apartment had a very low ceiling in the edges of rooms. In one of the bedrooms, almost the whole room had a low ceiling and you couldn't stand up from the bed normally without hitting your head. In most of the rooms, half of the room was basically unusable because of the low ceiling (see pictures). The bathrooms didn't have this problem. The kitchen was in a very tight space and half of it, we had to duck to even access. The kitchen space also got pretty warm during cooking. You also practically cannot sit in the kitchen and eat because the space is so cramped and the table isn't big. One morning, while we were eating on the terrace, one of us leaned forward to grab something, and the chair broke and he fell. We reported it to the host immediately, and he was insinuating that we were reckless with the chair and that he heard us do it. The chairs were really old and squeaky and we had to use them anytime we ate. I wouldn't describe what he was doing as something that is unconventional for sitting in a chair. The host later said that we need to pay for it and we understanding because we did cause damage. I read the terms of Booking.com and explained to him that he needed for file it through the site and he got angry at me. The first morning after our check in, the owners son came into the apartment to check up and went through every room to see if the windows were closed (but I think he was also looking around to see what we were doing). After that happened, I got a little suspicious of the hosts and every time we left the apartment, I would put the keyhole a certain way so that I knew if anyone had locked/unlocked the door while we were gone. Multiple times it happened that when we came back to the apartment, the door had been unlocked while we were out.
