We have stayed here before and came back because of the value and the proximity of St. Hubert! As well, Motel Cartier has a fridge in the room and we were driving a long way with a cooler! The room was absolutely clean. The beds were comfortable. GREAT shower!

The bathroom tap dripped and the sink really needs to be replaced as it was cracked (but the bathtub & shower unit was quite new). It is a bit of a drive from off the TCH and it can be confusing but we just Google the location and listen to directions. After several occasions (we have stayed at other accommodations nearby) we have become accustomed to finding this part of the city now.

There wasn’t a breakfast, which wasn’t an issue for us. The location was perfect. Easy to get to from the highway. The rooms were quiet.

To get to our room from the parking lot, we had to get through an outside door which led us to a hallway where the door to our room was. The “card” would not work on the parking lot door. We had to go through the main entrance each time to get to the hallway. The travellers in the next room had the same difficulty. We could have used a microwave in the room. We had to ask the staff to heat our supper. I also didn’t like the envelope left on the room desk with expectation of a tip. I left what change I had on me, but the envelope seemed pushy.

An ordinary motel that at some point in the not to distant past realized it was dated and so refurbished all the rooms. They didn't tell me this but it's obvious from the decor and bathroom fixtures that they put some thought into refreshing the rooms. The rooms are clean, bright, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is quite modern, the shower is great.

One tiny criticism that I have for many places we stay, not just Motel Cartier. There is only a light on one side of the bed. THERE SHOULD BE A READING LIGHT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BED.

The location is great. It is near the highway. It has a St Hubert's chicken place attached to it. There is a Shell gasoline station nearby as well. In front there is a Normandin restaurant. It is close to Parc des Chutes park. Room is clean and looks updated. The check-in and check-out process were both easy.

It would be great if the room has a microwave but it is not really a deal breaker.

Large, comfortable bed and reasonable storage space. Connected directly to a St Hubert outlet which is open for lunch and dinner, accessible without leaving the motel building. For breakfast there is another good chain outlet across the street next to a gas station. Easy access to and from the Autoroute. Quiet in spite of the proximity to the autoroute. Parking for one vehicle, assigned to the room.

Room was nicely prepared. We liked the newer flooring (i.e. not carpet) as room is always more comfortable without the stuffy odours that carpeting can hold. You could see effort was recently made in updating the room (fresh paint, newer furnishings, newer bathroom). Clean- as outlined above. Pleased with bathroom especially. It was small but had all we needed. Bed- good, comfortable mattress.

The door could have had a stronger dead bolt. There was both a knob lock and a small separate lock on door but it wasn't strong at all and wouldn't have held up against much pressure.

Love the service, very helpful. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Bathroom was newly renovated, clean and bright. Restaurant on site, it was greatn to check in and order a meal at the same time. The point was close by, beautiful views for pictures and lots of seats to just relax or to have a bite.

The room was clean and tidy. Very basic. Bed was comfortable and the restaurant attached meant we could walk to supper indoors. Can't say anything about the breakfast as we were gone before 7am. Easy to find and right on the highway. About 4 minutes to major shopping area. Excellent morning coffee in the room with real pottery cups. The room was warm and cozy and appeared to have been recently upgraded. I would come back.

The room was rather small, no hangers or coat rack but the TV and cable and wifi worked just fine. Good place for an overnight stay while traveling through.

Easy parking & access to room. Adjacent to restaurant. Very comfortable bed. Shower a bit small & easy to wet bathroom floor if not careful. Well stocked with towels etc. Lots of hanging space but as we were there fleetingly, no use for many facilities.

The room was very hot on arrival. We turned on air conditioner & it was incredible noisy. It really should be replaced. No one could sleep with that going!

Great design with an exterior door (labeled 28-29) which opens to a long interior hall across the front of the motel (good insulation from the noise and weather) that leads directly to the St. Hubert's restaurant. The room door (#29) is off the interior hall. Modern room, great tiled shower, good toiletries. Even the floor seemed to be heated (no cold feet in the night or in the morning). My wife wasn't keen when I booked, we both felt it was excellent value for the money and will stay there again. The restaurant was exceptional and certainly the best St. Hubert's that we have ever been in - spacious, wine cellar, kids playroom, separate bar, friendly staff, generous portions. A winner.
