I always admired this colorful building with its charming Parisian type outdoor/indoor cafe and chairs during my previous visits to Villach. Finally I stayed here,and it was great. It appears to be an older building that has been maintained very well.Clean,small,well run.Large rooms,high ceilings,modern bathrooms,comfortable bed. Good WiFi.Across the street is the taxi stand-and a vantage point to admire the gorgeous snow-capped mountain range.The train station is a 2-minute walk.The river ,a one minute walk.Old Town,just across that river's bridge. Cafes and restaurants nearby.Breakfast offered limited but high quality items. Freshly home-made bread too.Very reasonably priced hotel,at least in winter. Hotel was prompt in answering my emails-which is a sign of a well managed business..

The room was spacious and clean, the parking space was close by and only costs something in the main season, the staff was very nice and helpful, you can experience the ling history of the house through the fotos on the walls in the stair case.

The electric key was quite unique and one needs to get used to it. The window was not quite soundproofed, so you could here everything going on on the street, and sometimes you could here the pipes.

The Atmosphere and staff. It is a building of old style But when you stay.In large cities being able to stay in the older style. Reminds you what it was like in the past. Although everything has been modernized, so there aren't any inconveniences with respect, the " old style." Parking was easy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They made us feel like the hotel was our home.

Great location within easy walking from the train station. Hotel staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast in the lovely indoor garden atmosphere is excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious! Lots of great area restaurants and shopping close by. The mountain views from the nearby bridge are breathtaking! The town has a friendly, easy-going vibe, and the decorations for the Christmas Holidays are colorful and creative! I love it here!

I was afraid the single room would be too small but the size was perfectly adapted. Small but with enough space for one person to do everything and they even had a "baggage holder" in the room. The hotel is located very close to the center and I could easily access restaurant which were at walking distance (3min). The personnel I encountered was very friendly !

I was there on a very hot day and the room does not have an air conditioner. It was so hot that I could not sleep so I had to open the window. And then the noises from outside kept on waking me up as well. The parking is a bit tight towards the end. If you are parked at the end of it and every parking spot is taken, you might have a hard time going out. Fortunately there were some places fre when I left so I did not have a specific issue.

Room was immaculately clean as was rest of Hotel. Easy check in close walk to town, train with supermarket, bars etc all very close

Was very hot in the building made it a little stuffy The town prides its self on cleanliness and the truck street sweeper started outside the window at 5am then the garbage then the cleaners…….

I loved the romantic atmosphere of the hotel and the cozy single room. Everything was spotless clean and worked well. I had a very short stay, but I would really liked to stay longer. The personnel (Daniela) was very friendly, accommodated a last-minute change of date and waited for my late arrival, even if we had agreed on automatic key delivery. The location is very central and suited well my need for a short stopover near the train station

Very friendly and helpfull staff, they also gave us visiting advices and info and a free Villach Erlebnis card, which was very usefull for us. Breakfast was excellent and serving was also very good. The building is old but has good isolation and the furniture was of good quality and generally clean. Location is 4 min away from city center and similar distance to Train station. We liked the history of the place and the continuation of the family tradition. We thank you for the hospitality!

The room was quite warm, we could not really control the heating level from the heating elements.

Really gorgeous rooms and very clean. Location was so close to the downtown Villach where there are tons of restaurants. Front desk offered me a bike (included in the room payment) and places to go! Very appreciative of the local knowledge and was thrilled with my stay here!

No helmets for bikes :(

The room was quite spacious, clean. We required a quiet room and they took care to give to us one. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice, and during the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
