This little cottage is in a fabulous location walking distance to everything - including just a stroll down the Riesling trail to collect our e-bikes. A good range of breakfast provisions was included - with bacon, eggs, tea, coffee, milk and fresh sourdough. A perfect way to start the day.

Took a while for the heating to kick in and warm up the rooms - although it was the middle of winter! The electric blankets were our saviour and perfect for a good nights sleep.

The cottage was thoughtfully set up for guests, with everything needed. The air cond was put on b4 arrival, so it was nice and cosy when we walked in on what was a cold wintery day. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious, very clean and well laid out. The electric blankets provided were very much appreciated for the cold weather Monica kept in contact and gave all the info needed and more. Breakfast provisions provided were good - with plenty of options. A lovely bottle of good local wine was also provided with a choice of white or red. The cottage is in a quiet location with just a short walk to the main street of Clare, so easy access to restaurants, shops etc. All up - a wonderful place to stay and we will be back!

A beautiful B&B to stay in a great location, at the centre of Clare. This was the cleanest place I have ever stayed, and it feels like the owners treat it as well as their own home. The backyard was a beautiful place to sit with a glass of wine, and the rooms were warm and comfortable for a cool autumn stay. There were lots of helpful brochures and menus of local places which we found helpful. Fabulous contact and service from our hosts - they were lovely. We would love to come back again soon! Everything was thoughtfully provided, and then some. Monica is an exceptional host and always easy to reach if needed. The cottage was really comfortable and warm during our early spring stay. WiFi was good. Tv had Netflix for guests. There are lots of seating options outside and inside, so room to spread out. The cottage caters well for every season with reverse cycle air conditioning, electric blankets, hot water bottle, fans, and heat lights in the bathroom. Kitchen very well stocked, including a milk frother- as well as breakfast with cereal/muesli, toast and spreads, and cooking provisions. Location is a 2-5 minute easy walk to eateries and shopping and even a popular winery. There is no need to drive in central Clare! Exceptional host and stay. Highly recommended. The cottage is very comfortable and clean with everything you could possibly need. It is in a very quiet location and has a beautiful private garden with outdoor seating, but is only a 5 minute walk to town with restaurants and a supermarket. The hosts are very welcoming and were extremely generous with breakfast provisions.

Clarevale Cotttage is remarkable, outstanding. Our host has paid attention to every little detail to make your holiday enjoyable. The cottage was spotless. Breakfast provisions were all we needed. The queen-size bed was comfortable (we didn't use the electric blanket), as was the lounge furniture. Good hot shower, thick towels. Wifi good. July in Clare gets very cold but the heating kept us warm. The host left a lovely bottle of red wine, chocolates and biscuits for us. Carpark on site. We stayed three nights but there was everything you needed for a longer stay in this beautiful region of the Clare Valley. Clarevale Cottage is highly recommendable. If you are not staying at Clarevale Cottage in Clare then you are staying at the wrong place! Yes, you are staying in the wrong place!

It was within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. It was very private. The host lent us a cutting board and some paper plates/ napkins to use at our picnic. The foods left for breakfast ( bacon, eggs, bread, butter, jam, cereal, milk) were very welcome! The coffee was great! Thank you Lots of local information was available.

it was excellent in every way. we would rate it as exceptional, even when comparing it to accommodation overseas. the unit was like a home away from home, equipped with everything: laundry facilities, comfortable bed, tasteful decor, plenty of space and it was 2 minutes walk into the Main Street. Monica was very friendly but not intrusive; we had privacy but knew she was available if needed. top marks!

It’s right in the heart of Clare, and very close to the Reisling Trail. It’s clean and comfortable, and set back from the road, so it’s private and secluded. So many lovely, thoughtful touches, such as wine and cheese, chocolates and biscuits. The garden front and back is lovely (gorgeous autumn leaves). Good communication from host, easy to find, and smooth check in and out.

Nothing not to like. But it would be even better if there was a wood fire (combustion heater) in the corner of the lounge room, and a bath in the bathroom. I also prefer wood floors to tiles, but that’s just my personal preference. Overall, an excellent accommodation.
