The room was very clean. Beds were clean and very comfy. The shower was hot with good pressure. The air con and WiFi were fantastic. The room was a good size too with plenty of storage. Big TV although I didn't watch it. I liked the lockbox for after hours check in. Also the access to the car park via the glass door in my room made unpacking and packing much easier. The open fire in the entry was cosy x inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful.
As it was very cold I required another blanket out of the drawer in my room. It was quite dirty and looked like it may have been placed back in the drawer and not cleaned. I did tell the cleaning staff and they gave me a clean one. My bins were not emptied everday. There was no tea towel to dry cups and glasses.

One of the best thought out rooms Ive ever stayed in with lots of shelving to store your bags etc EVEN in the bathroom 🙌 the bed was extremely comfortable as well and with a sliding door out to a grassed area for your dog to use, an excellent place to stay if travelling with your pets
This is not the properties fault but the dog owners who stay here. Just in our overnight stay people didn’t pick up their dogs poo’s. PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOS seriously how hard can it be and also don’t leave it in the poo bag on the grass for someone else to pick up. Its because of irresponsible dog owners that there are so few pet friendly places to stay because its bloody gross. NB: maybe Abode could put a garage bin out there to assist the few people who don’t do the right thing

Nice staff and relatively easy after hours access. Also good coffee
Paying for the TV-You should just include it in the price.Getting in tired and then going to turn on the TV then having to install and pay for an app is clumsy and annoying.

This is a fairly new motel that is well maintained, very clean and very comfortable. It is remarkably soundproof. Unlike older style motels, Abode has a large shared kitchen with multiple cooktops, ovens and microwaves as well as a good selection of cooking implements. You can choose to eat in the communal diner or take your meal back to your room (although it will be eaten on your knee as there is no table or bench in the room to rest it). If you don't want to cook the pub is a short walk away for a good, but not too expensive, meal. We stayed two nights and spent a day wandering around the wineries that were very good - the Canberra wine region was another discovery. This was our first stay and won't be our last.

This is a quiet, clean, tidy, well organised hotel rather than a regional motel. Standards were high, and the level of comfort was more than satisfactory. Plenty of space in the room. Good parking, away from the main road and in an open well lit area
The person managing the reception desk was not particularly nice, but this did not impact on our stay or our satisfaction. The size of the cups was remarkably small, and there was no microwave in the rooms - we had forgotten to bring our own mugs this time - and as a result we missed out on a hot chocolate that the accomodation generously provides

This was a last minute overnight stop on my way home and I was greeted by one of the most friendly and courteous staff I have ever experienced! I had stayed a Abode before (different location) so I knew what to expect but this was extra nice. All the mod cons required and the room had a comfy bed and big bathroom. I was travelling with my dog which was no problem at all. The room had it's own access to outdoors which was needed. The generous voucher for a meal from their 'pantry' was a lovely bonus and the meal was delicious. No microwave (there was a kettle and toaster though) in the room but the modern community kitchen located right off reception was easy to access and very well appointed with all the requirements.

Perfect rooms/facilities to suit all needs, but blown away by how accomodating they are for pets (we were accompanied by our Chihuahua). We booked a room with a ‘terrace’ and we had our own external entry which allowed for easy toilet time for our pup. We met some likeminded traveller/pet owners at the pub, who were also staying at the Abode due to it being pet friendly! In the morning we walked across the road to Clementine bakery for a pie & coffee (delicious). Will be back :)

This is our go-to hotel whenever we're visiting family in Canberra or traveling between Melbourne and Sydney. It's the perfect place to stay with my dog as well. The communication with staff is excellent, and the booking process is always seamless. A major bonus is the café across the road with their amazing fresh pastries—definitely one of the reasons we keep coming back. Highly recommend!
While the location and convenience of staying here are perfect, the price does not reflect the amenities provided. The additional cost for our dog also makes it one of the more expensive places to stay for a night. The pillows could definitely be improved, as they are quite hard. In fact, after previous stays, I now bring my own pillow for comfort.

Everything about this stay was perfect. The young man who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, and the shared kitchen was large and functional. The wifi was reliable, and it was easy to stream our services through the TV.There is a small pantry section where you can buy wine, snacks, and essentials. Great location and incredible value for money. I like their environmentally friendly approach to cleaning.
Nothing. A gym and an outdoor seating area would be a nice addition, but not a negative for our short stay.

Check in process was easy even though I arrived after reception had closed. Easy to find the room, and it was clean and well appointed. Group Kitchen was also really useful to reheat my keto meal that I had brought with me.
Nothing I didn't like, it was excellent, always has been, I have stayed numerous times before, this time I booked via Booking.com, for some reason I find the hotel booking site a bit complex and confusing given the number of other abode hotels in the area, the Guest Book is also no use to me as I stay at the same location each time. I went to ring the hotel directly to make my booking and ended up being answered by Abode Belconnen, so it was just easier in the end to book via booking.com. Booking.com is my preferred Accommodation portal.
