The rooms were well equipped and clean. Although the motel rooms have been around a while, (I love the retro bathroom tiles!) they are well cared for and the hosts have thought about what a traveller needs in their room. Lots of nice touches like extra pillows, blankets, plenty of toiletries and a microwave as well as a fridge and kettle, along with plates, bowls, cutlery etc. Also the shower was great! The staff member at check in was very friendly and called to check my arrival when I was getting close to the check in cut off. He also offered information on getting food locally late at night when I arrived.

Love the mini kitchen. Able to prepare or reheat simple meals which saves eating out. Clean and comfortable and enough storage. Even a small dining table and outdoor table for reading or snacking. Even the towels colour coordinate with the heritage bathroom. Well done.

The only negative comment is that the exterior timber is in need of a coat of paint but we realise that these things take time and money.

🧑‍⚕️ heading south to melb and needed a place to rest , and most motels were booked out, this became available with some cancellations, the staff were fantastic and gave us the family room at the lowest price 👍🏼👍🏼 hot shower and clean room, 😊😊😊fully satisfied my needs.

Great little hotel, bed was super comfy, the whole place was clean and the check in process was easy and staff incredibly friendly! I was able to park my oversized Van right outside so it wasn’t left somewhere I could have been broken in to. Will absolutely be back on our next drive through!!

Bathroom could do with a fan to get rid of the steam, but wasn’t a huge issue.

The Hi Way Motor Inn in Yass is the best place I have ever stayed. It is beautiful, comfortable, you have everything you could want or need in one room. Aircon, TV, fridge, microwave, security... could you ask for anything more? Well, there is actually more amazingness. The owners of the Hi Way Motor Inn are incredible. You could not stay anywhere else that has such an amazing and kind owner. I’ll be booking each and every trip I have in the Hi Way Motor Inn in Yass.

This stay was a break from driving to Sydney. Driver hadn’t driven all the way to Sydney in over 10 years. Hadn’t been to Yass for sometime because of the bypass so it was nice to reacquaint with the town

Room possibly a little small for us (one traveller needed a walker) however room was exactly as advised and very clean & tidy.

The bed was comfortable and everything worked fine. At first I thought the air-conditioning was not working as it was around a corner from the main room. But it soon cooled off the air in the room once it got started.

It is right at the edge of town but is easy to find. The parking in the inner courtyard can be tight. The room is not very big although the bathroom was fine.

N/A breakfast. Reception open until late. Helpful staff member re TV. ( Room 18). Cleanliness. Comfortable room.

Re Room 23 which was a nice room but with two walls of large glass windows I think it is necessary to cover windows with curtains to maintain privacy.

Queen size bed but almost jammed against the wall space beside bed inadequate, obviously had electric blanket fitted but unable to get access to remote stuck under mattress with bed frame.` Room clean, bathroom good, though wish all bathrooms had ambulant by toilet, makes getting off low toilets so much easier.

The proprietor was very friendly, even though I arrived later than expected. She had already turned on the heater in my room which was enormously appreciated. The room was scrupulously clean, the shower hot with plenty of pressure, the towels large and fluffy, the bed comfy with adequate blankets. For an older style motel and the very reasonable price, I couldn't have wished for a better experience.
