Everything about Phu My Hung was wonderful. The pool is fabulous. Location is perfect for getting around the Island with its central location, but away from the hustle and bustle. The bungalows are all on the ground level and set around the pool. The kitchen is well equipped, with a large fridge freezer and ample pots, pans and dishes. WiFi is great with routers in every room. The family who own the business couldn’t be more helpful and kind. The staff are great and everything is very well maintained and clean. Guests are friendly, with lots people staying a month or even longer due to the unbeatable price to amenity ratio. The environment is laid back and it has a very homely feel. There were people of all ages and nationalities. I stayed a month and my daughter and friend joined me for 15 days. We all loved our stay. As a seasoned traveller, I’d rate it high up there with the best budget places I’ve stayed longer term in Asia. I’ll definitely be back and am sorry to leave as Phu My Hung was the highlight of my month in Phu Quoc.

when you take the key out all the electrical turns off so stuff in the fridge goes warm and can’t leave anything to charge

This place is great for long and short term stay, far from a road, very calm, room is large and light, all new, everything works, all clean. Huge pool. Cleaning is every week, towels and water every day. Internet is fast and stable. The host is very care and responsive, always ready to help. I’m especially grateful her for help us. A bike can also be rented on site at a good price.

Fabulous place. Great rooms with all facilities and a lovely clean pool. It's on the Vinbus route so easy to get anywhere, and very near to airport. Lots of shops and restaurants just outside the gate. The staff were amazing, checking every day with clean towels and fresh water. I really enjoyed my stay. I had booked one night and stayed 5. will definitely stay here again.

Nothing not to like here.

Stayed for 2 weeks. The bungalows are clean and comfortable. The whole property is set back from the street up a long driveway so it is very quiet. The pool is very nice, and the staff are incredibly helpful. The bungalows are fully equipt with good air conditioning, fridges and kitchenette with stove top, great if you're staying longer and want to cook at home. It is relatively close to the main shopping/eating street, about a 15 to 20 minute walk. Alternatively, they have scooters you can hire at a good price and they can get you into town in less than a couple minutes if you're confident driving. Overall, we loved our long stay here, it was exactly what we needed.

Quiet, comfortable, palm trees and pool to fall into from your bed outside your door, excellent staff. What's not like? What you see is what you get. When you arrive at the airport, contact the hotel, they will send a fantastic vehicle to pick you up, no need for airport taxis. One of the best I have stayed in.

There is cafes outside the hotel for breakfast, however, it is £3/$5 for taxi to town. That is nothing.

A lovely resort set amongst well maintained gardens. Apartment was super clean and had everything that we needed , bottled water and clean towels were provided everyday. Pool is fabulous. Not far to walk down to the beach and plenty of food options near by , the free bus service is about 500m which runs to the airport, town and onto grand world/vin wonders. The owners are really helpful and are on site. A really great place to stay we would definitely recommend - we thoroughly enjoyed our time here

A spacious well equipped unit, with good air-conditioning, and a lovely pool on site. With cooking facilities inside, DIY catering was an option, but there was a convenient place to breakfast just over the road, and other simple eateries not far away. Convenient for the airport, there is a stop for the free #17 and 19 buses a few minutes walk away, just past the roundabout on the main road into town. For me this was a convenient and good value location.

Not much to dislike, just watch the traffic carefully if crossing to the nearest cafe at rush hour, and bring good footware for walking to the shops as the pavement proper starts near the roundabout. No such issues if with car or motorbike (just have a poncho for if / when it rains).

The location is perfect not far and not to close to the traffic and noise. Beautiful grounds with flowers and palm trees. Amazing pool area. Loved all. Will be back next year for sure. Looking forward

This place is fantastic. Beautiful pool. Spacious, clean rooms with patio. Nicely landscaped so feels private and has a very relaxed vibe. Our room had two king size beds, a desk with two chairs, a mirror vanity with stool, and floor to ceiling cabinets. Also had a separate kitchen with dishes, two burner stovetop, fridge and sink. Good hot water in the shower, strong AC, and a laundry line out back. They brought us new water and fresh towels everyday. Super helpful, kind, and generous family operation. Walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants, but most people that stayed there rent scooters (they arrange for you). Lots of amazing beaches to discover! This place is a 9.5/10 as I have to take a 0.5 off for the one hard bed. We would absolutely book this place if we were to visit Phu Quoc again. For reference, we are a Canadian family with teenagers who have been travelling SE Asia for two months and I leave honest reviews.

The beds are firm, which is ok, but one of the beds was just plain hard. It had a 2.5" foamy on top of wood. It felt like you were lying on a thick blanket on the floor. The other bed was better so I think that maybe that bed just needs a new foamy. This is the kind of business that will replace the foamy as soon as they read this!
