- Location is close to the old town but still very quiet among locals. - Friendly staff. - Clean and spacious room with nice garden/pool view. - Very Comfortable bed. - Breakfast was nice with a strong Vietnamese coffee. - Internet was very fast (room 102). - Free bicycles to rent (a bit old and rusty but still fine)

- Room smelled a bit musty, but probably because of the many rainy days before our arrival. - The hot water heater tank is very small and the controls were very sensitive. - They don’t have a heater, which would be great after a rainy and windy day! - It was too cold to use the nice pool, but saw that there are just 4 sunbeds for 10 rooms.

The location is great, quiet and you can relax in this crowdy town. You can easily take a bike - also included and be in 5 minutes in the center or 10 minutes to the rice fields. Pool was great and always empty (May).

We saw that our room is free the day we were leaving and we decided to extend for a couple of hours since the flight was late evening, but owner took money from us with a height like for one additional night. This was not kind from them.

Everything about this beautiful little villa is gorgeous. On a tiny island a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Hoi An, I could not recommend this more ! Wonderful staff, ( I was the only one there for 2 nights, I felt like a king with my own private villa. Honestly, I'll be going back. Pool was gorgeous, food amazing and lovingly cooked. I also love it's just a short distance from everything and feels rather serene > down from a few homes/ houses > people are so friendly. Go ! I'll be going back + great value for money.

Hosts were extremely warm and inviting as well as helpful with any queries we had or looking after us with transport, activities, laundry etc. Activities from here were competitively priced. Breakfast was cheap and very generous. A lovely family run business that went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. Location was quiet yet still really conveniently located to old Hoi An. Room size was generous and room was well lit, had good air-conditioning and all rooms had a pool side view. Only 8 suites from what we could see. Would highly recommend.

Hoi an Hideaway – A hidden gem This is a small family run hotel which I would not hesitate to recommend. We had 9 nights in Hoi An at the HoiAn Hideaway and we were so pleased with the choice we had made. The owner’s communications were great from before arrival – we took them up on the offer of booking us a taxi from DeNang airport which was a very competitive price and meant that there were no issues in finding the accommodation, which is tucked away from the main roads. This location, however, is what gives it its appeal, its only a 5 minute walk from the hotel across the bridge to central HoiAn, yet it doesn’t feel like its in a town at all. The rooms were very spacious, even for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and has great air con and also a fridge to use. They provide a free bottle of water per person daily which is a nice touch, however they do also sell water / soft drinks/ beer, all of which is competitively priced with the local shops. Whilst the air con is available in the room, as the bathroom has an outdoor shower, it isn’t obviously air-conditioned, however we didn’t find this a problem and liked the outdoor shower and the plants around it to make use of some run off. The pool was an absolute godsend and was a lovely temperature. It got the sun for the morning but was more shaded for the afternoon which again helped keep the area that bit cooler (though with the temps/humidity in Aug it was still very warm). The only recommendation I would have at all for any improvements to the hotel might be to increase the number of sun loungers around the pool. Whilst we didn’t ever have a problem getting a space while using the pool, if there are a few groups wishing to use the pool at once then you might struggle. There were 5 loungers while we were there, but probably has space for 8 at least I think. Breakfast was from 7 til 10am and was included in the cost of the accommodation - it certainly exceeded our expectations.

I loved the spatious room and the swimming pool area. Staff are adorable. Breakfast is very tasty and enough for 1, not a buffet. You get to choose from 1 of 3 menus : Vietnam type; English type; European type. Only 1 drink and some fruit. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Huge bathroom. Easy to get into the old town and away from the hustle and buzz of the city. I highly recommend this villa. Good value for money.

Aircon unit did not work properly. There was a rooster in one of the houses next door which kept crowing from early hours of the morning throught the daylight time 😂, but honestly it was not a problem. Just a comment. It is out of the owners hands.

Our room upstairs was huge with a balcony overlooking the pool. Really comfy beds. Our kids had a room downstairs with a bathroom open to the outside (still private & had a bath). Big clean pool. Good location, about 10 mins walk over the bridge to the old town. Standard breakfast options (had to order the night before) but plenty of it. We used the free bikes to cycle to the beach through the countryside. Lovely family run hotel

Everything was amazing! Warm, kind and helpful staff( you can book trip and transports), very good English of the owner ( rare in Vtnam), clean big pool ( towels provided), surrounded with green and palms...very peaceful place, very fast wifi, lot to choose for breakfast, big and clean room, free biciclette, motorbike rents, loundry is possible, daily cleaning, safe neighbourhood, very quite place, close...walk distance ( less then 10min) to the center (market,bars,restaurants). Do not hesitate...you will fall in love with this property!

This is a small family run villa complex which I cannot fault. The family were incredibly friendly, attentative and helpful. It was incredible value for money and provided a little oasis away from the mayhem that is generally Vietnam. Location was great, only a short walk to the main market, bars and restaurants, with a convenience store nearby. Had a wonderful stay, only wished we'd stayed longer.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this location providing you take it for what it is and are not expecting 4 star.

Very pleasant, quiet oasis in Hoi An, with a well maintained inner yard and pool. Spacious and clean room, good breakfast. We booked the place precisely because of its location, and we're happy we did. The walk into town was no issue at all. Also walking distance to Memories Hoi An. The family who run the place were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
