Great little airport hotel. Couldn’t ask for more, they picked us up from the airport for a reasonable price. Check in process was quick and easy which was appreciated after a long delayed flight and they allowed payment by credit card without a fee. Room and bed was comfortable and quiet. Don’t hesitate to stay here if you need a place close to the airport.

The air conditioner was a little noisy but I think that is to be expected. Wouldn’t stop us staying here again :)

Three of us stayed here recently. We just used the hotel for an overnight stay prior to flying out the next day. The hotel was clean and the facilities were good. There's no bar in the hotel or restaurant but if you walk out to the hotel turn to the left and within a few meters you will find a huge Garden restaurant which serves a varied menu and of course, beer. There is even an English menu although the translation is not perfect. The taxi to the airport is available for 80,000 dong but if you choose to book Grab you will probably get this for around 45,000. We were all very happy with the hotel and can recommend it especially for those overnight stays before or after a flight.

We stayed at the hotel for a night and booked a family room for 3 adults. We were pleasantly surprised because the room was rather spacious and very clean and cosy. The beds were big and comfortable. In the bathroom we found clean towels, shampoo and shower gel as well as toothbrushes and toothpaste, And this is a three-star hotel! Great service! The location is very convenient for travellers who need a hotel for a night before the next flight (we had a stopover before the flight home), the hotel is very close to the airport. There are a lot of small cafes with cheap local cuisine. We ate a fantastic Pho Bo at the cafe next to the hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel, it is a good value for money.

Everything was very good!

The room was clean, and well equiped with an AC and a fan, which made a big difference with the hot weather outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a problem connecting my local phone number to a GRAB app, and they helped me with this process. When I ordered taxi the staff member helped to communicate with the driver. At every step the staff tried to be accomodating to me, which I greatly appreciate. Great people!

Nothing, everything was perfect

I got dropped near the airport from a previous tour. The driver for this hotel collected me at the exact time from the bus drop, which was 2am in the morning. They helped with all of my luggage. They helped me print off boarding pass for my flight. They also dropped me to the airport the following morning. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect and exactly what I needed for a short stay, and it’s only a 5 minute drive from the airport.

First Impression -very close to Noi Bai airport -super comfycozy and shiny new lobby (shame that we didn't have time to chill there with some tea) -enormously warm welcome Check-in -very friendly and quick -no 3% credit card charge as in many other hotels Room -new interieur -100% clean -comfy bed -working shower -top cost/performance Check-out -done in one second -we decided to come again after our return from taiwan -offers airport Shuttle for 80k Dong which is very close to grab fee (we used it on our second stay with satisfaction)

Ideas for improvement -the windows were open when we entered the room and with it we had one mosquito inside. Please install mosquito nets or let the windows closed all the time -the doors are not so sound proof and other guests coming after midnight woke us up

This property was centrally located in Old Town Hanoi- right in the middle of the hustle & bustle. It was within walking distance of Hoan Kem(so?) lake; very convenient. The staff was exceptional! Even after we checked out & went up to Sapa & to Ninh Binh, we came back to the Golden Silk, as that was the only place we knew. Since our logistics weren’t always spot-on, we hung out there. They were welcoming & even stored our bags for us when we had time to spare! We’ve never had a hotel do that! They were so welcoming! The breakfast buffet was great, as was the food in the hotel restaurant. The room was spacious, clean , & comfortable, & very affordable!

Excellent hotel close to airport for my first and last nights in Vietnam, to stay after my arrival flight and before my departure flight. I brought a bicycle with me and needed the hotel to store the bike suitcase for 5 weeks while I cycled around Vietnam. This was not a problem and everything I had left at the hotel was there for me to pick up 5 weeks later. There is a good restaurant not far from the hotel for dinner, breakfast and lunch.
