It was by far the best deal in the area as long as you don't want to swim in a hotel pool. It had everything I could need in the room, was spacious, clean, and even updated for an amazing price. I was thankful to find such a good deal.

The staff was nice, plenty of parking. I will be honest...after having stayed at Comfort and Quality Inns for most of our trip, I wondered what I had gotten us into when first pulling into the parking lot. It's not located directly off an exit....and is visibly a bit older in appearance than what we had been staying in. But we stayed in one Comfort Inn that looked good outwardly...once inside-the room was very lacking(bed/carpet/etc) I loved the fact that this facility was smoking AND pet free. We have pets. We kennel them....sorry but there is an obvious smell of pets in some places...don't care if the pet owner paid extra. Adults aren't having accidents on the sides of mattresses or carpet....and pets sometimes can't help themselves. So kudos for the pet policy as well. Overall it was a good choice for the 2 nights we stayed

The hot water heater was visible in the closet area....which made me a little nervous.

It was better than expected. Book yourself the queen room with a kitchen — we grabbed groceries just barely down the road and made our own breakfasts. Value for money was great; staff was pleasant; great location for hiking in Olympic national park.

They only had one set of silverware haha if you intend to eat there, but they do have basic dishes for cooking. The place itself looks old, but it’s all really well maintained, so it’s not a problem. Everything that matters is up to date — microwave, stove, showerhead are great. And it’s clean!

This is an older but well maintained motel. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, and I liked that the sink included a large countertop for all my stuff. It appears to be family operated and the young man at the front desk was very nice.

The room was under a deep porch roof, which kept the walkway dry, but left the room dark. It's minor complaint in Fall in the Pacific NW where there's not a lot of sun to begin with.

. I was far from home and needed somewhere to stay for the night and on a budget. Sundowner motel was it! Easy to locate in a nice quiet area, no issues with parking. It was such a relief to stay in a clean comfortable hotel that had such a cozy vibe to it. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice, making the check in and out quick and easy! Thank you sundowner for the refreshing stay before my long trip back home!! Cozy comfortable crisp and clean. Staff was great!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

What a gem this motel is. I arrived and was greeted by Jimmy, the irrepressible cheerful receptionist/owner. I'm quickly allocated a room, introduced to Lucky, the 14-year-old Black Labrador, and then given a detailed list of all the things there are to do and see in Sequim and the Olympic Peninsula and National Park. Jimmy recommends the 101 Diner next door (and I endorse his recommendation) as a great place to eat. Set back from the road, there is virtually no traffic noise and, with a very comfortable bed, I slept very well. I will definitely be booking a room here if I find myself in the Olympic Peninsula again.

Everything about our room was just right, and then some. Our check-in was best ever too.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy loveseat and soft bed. The guy at the front desk was very courteous and helpful, even though I show up after 10 PM. Great wi-fi and convenient location.

The stairs to the second floor were a bit iffy, and there was a large spiderweb between the gutter and handrail on the second floor. My room was adjacent to the road and could be kind of loud during the day.

My wife and I have been to Sequim and this is the first time we've stayed at the Sundowner. I was worried about the place because it did not look good from the outside, but the rooms looked nice and it had good reviews, so we went for it. The manager Jimmy called me the day before to tell me everything was per our request, he was there when we arrived (late), was super polite, and the room was spotlessly clean and silent. No kidding. My wife and I NEED clean and NEED cleanliness to be comfortable and this please was GREAT. We will stay there the next time we go to Sequim (and thank you again Mr. Jimmy!) David S
