The pools were nice The wait staff was excellent. The food was really good. All staff were very friendly. The family loved the pickleball courts. Had a very homey feel. One couple in our family stayed in the James Bond room and the view was fantastic. Loved the decorations. That was fun and unexpected. Loved the view from the Whiskey Tower Bar. The twinkling lights over the pool was a fun at night.

It was a little dated. Rusty in places but it is by water so understandable. Lots of flooding recently so we were understanding about lack of some amenities. The WiFi went out and we were not able to order food or room service on a night we really wanted to. Looks like they are upgrading buildings currently, so that is good. Wanted to order from the menu on the weekend but only Buffett was allowed to. We know all of the recent flooding in the area caused some changes and we understand. Would definitely go again. Some of these things were just unavoidable.

For some reason it took a really long time at check in so the clerk upgraded my room. I was very happy with my room. I stayed here for my birthday and had my dog with me and we were very comfortable. The grounds were perfect for walking him around safely and we had plenty of area. The jacuzzi tub was very nice.

The jacuzzi tub kept running out of hot water. Breakfast and dinner was delicious but as vegetarian who stayed here two nights, I ate the same dinner dish because of severe lack of options. But I get it, if there's never a demand for it, it's not profitable to stock it. So that's not a bad review for the business, just an observation for the area.

The property is beautiful. We went for my son’s birthday and took 8 kids with us. They all swam to their hearts delight and had a ton of fun. We loved the pools and the hot tub. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. The staff was incredible. The food was really good. My husband loved the bar because he went up there and got to sing 😂 also I loved the great big bathtubs.

I didn’t love the price. It was pretty expensive, but I understand paying more with it being a “resort.” It was odd to me that there were no room phones to reach the front desk. The game room was taken out a few months ago, but the front desk staff did tell me that they were planning on replacing it. Also you’re not allowed to bring in outside food by the pool, which we were a bit disappointed because we wanted to do the birthday cake outside, but that was just a minor inconvenience. Overall, I would stay again when I could afford to do so!

The pools were great, so many choices outdoor and one indoor. The onsite restaurant was a great choice for us because we did not have to leave the property and the food was pretty good. Nice family vibe with still in separate location bar for those who want it. The room was comfortable and just right for our stay.

You have to call to get room serviced but I did not realize that and wish that was told to me at check in. There are no phones in the room so calling the front desk didn't happen during out stay. I would have called about the howling dog next door.

I loved the view and the look of the room. It was a very enjoyable experience. The view was just what I was looking for to have a get away weekend. I loved the walk in shower and clawfoot tub. The bed was very comfortable and I got lost in all of the pillows. It was a great escape.

There is not an option for room service or to have the hotel restaurant deliver to go orders. That was disappointing as I had to have food Door Dashed. I wish there was a chair on the balcony to sit and enjoy my coffee.

Beautiful location, beautiful facilities

I don’t like I had to request my room to be cleaned every day that’s something that should happen automatically. I was not informed to check in that I had to request that also the staff needs to be more knowledgeable about booking good times of the year to come there and merchandise that you have advertised to sell, you should have all the sizes available. I’m talking about T-shirts.

This resort had so much to offer. We enjoyed the 3 different bars (the Tower Bar view ♥️) with live music in each one, and live music outside also. The pools were awesome. We stayed in the King Suite #501 with a view of the pool, and it was very spacious and quiet. We will be back. We also took our boat and the resort has a grass area for parking with a marina 5 minutes away with a launch fee of $10 a day. Just FYI They are not connected to the resort so you can not dock and go back to your room during the day.

Need more hooks in the bathroom, and the shower gets water everywhere, so get extra floor towels. Beds do motion transfer a lot.

Proximity to our fishing guide meet-up. Staff was excellent. Property had a lot of features. Bar and Grill served good food. Convince shop on premises.

There is no bottled water for the in room coffee maker. Body Soap was empty in the tub. The tub was difficult to climb in and out of about 2 feet high. The fire alarm went off at 3:47 in the morning.

Breakfast was wonderful. Not really much to complain about.

I was there a year ago and had dinner in the restaurant, I had a wonderful blackened Salmon dinner with grilled veggies. I was looking forward to having the same wonderful meal and I was a little disappointed. It was just OK - nothing like a year ago so I was sad about that.

Some parts are a little outdated, but they are currently doing remodeling and we look forward to seeing what it is going to look like.
