As soon as you walk in the hotel you smell fresh cleaning products
the people that actually live live in there crowded outside in front of the door smoking and just dressed like they got off the couch… I understand they live there but it’s not a good look for the property….. almost cancelled due to how they made it look….

The rooms had been remodeled fairly recently,
For a hotel that is non smoking, there was an over whelming weed smell in the hall ways. Also the homeless in the parking lot. (Though the entire neighborhood has the same issue.) Makes it a bit daunting to want to go out into the neighborhood. Also the rooms do not have a microwave (which had roaches running around it) in them making it a necessity to either go into the weed smelling hallway to heat up food down near the ice machine, or to leave the building to go eat at one of the nearby restaurants.

There wasnt a breakfast, but the coffee at the desk this morning was wonderful
The hotel isnt in the best neighborhood, it actually seems a bit risky at night. No smoking at all in the rooms or on the property (I sat in my car & used the ashtray I keep in it). The desk clerk at check-in wasn't very kind & I got charged a $50 pet deposit which really shocked me because I've NEVER had to pay a pet deposit at any Motel 6 I've stayed at with my dogs. Also they have weight restrictions on pets MUCH LOWER than the corporate policy states. That was quite bothersome since 1 of my dogs is a large mix breed. Thankfully he's a really good boy & went unnoticed or nobody said anything to me since I was completely unaware of the weight restrictions until literally minutes ago since it wasn't mentioned at check-innor when I made the reservation. The hall stunk badly of marijuana

Everything, except that I was billed at the hotel ($ 80.83 on January 3 from our bank - checked out January 2nd 2022) *AND* by Booking.Com ($82.41 on 12.31.21) Please help me resolve this double billing
