I love how modern it is! Very up to date! The staff was awesome! Nicole at the front desk was great! She helped me confirm my reservation befoehand and when we checked in! The place was immaculate! The lobby has lots of seating and a foosball table! They have a gym but no pool! I love the rooms because there is no carpeting! Very clean! A nice size bathroom and bedroom! Large screen TV that had a nice Welcome message on the screen! They have automated shades for the window! We were in a handicap accessible room with a shower chair and hand rails! A fully stocked bathroom with lots of amenities such as wall mounted soap and lotion dispensers and shower gel and shampoo and conditioner in the shower! The breakfast was delicious! The first day they had scrambled eggs and sausage and the second day they had bacon and mini omelettes! And they have an automated pancake maker, bagels toast, muffins and different kinds of juice and milk! Even almond and soy milk! The attendant was very friendly! The location is great! Right across from a Walmart and close to other stores and restaurants and gas! Close to lots of attractions such as The Great Lakes Outlet Mall with Legoland, The Rainforest Cafe & an aquarium! Also Barrymore's Amusement Park & a great chocolate place called Sanders Chocolate! Love the area! Will definitely be back!

The only drawback was no pool

Everything from the time I arrived was right on point. The Desk Clerks were professional, kind, understanding and very helpful through out our time there.

I did not like the fact that I could register/secure a room with a Bank GoCard. The amount that I was informed about online was one, but the additional amount was over the card amount, and it would not release my funds. Although it shows 'pending' and there was nothing that my bank could do, until the hotel could deny it manual, although it shows declined in the card reader, and does not exist on the hotel side. I think that if you are not going to accept Prepaid Cards, then every site you are on should deny it as well. I have tried to purchase on other sites, using my prepaid cards and if they were not allowed, it would decline and return the funds. I am glad we had additional cards, but it did leave us a little down, not being able to enjoy other areas and venues in the area.

Place was very clean, breakfast was good and the price was just right. Located near shopping in case you needed to pick anything up for the evening. Kids loved the foosball tables. Would definitely come back.

The noise. You could hear the people above us running around all night long. Sounded like they had kids which we gave a pass for since we also have two little ones that can be active at times. Hallway noise wasn't an issue just the people staying above us. Also, the thermostat would kick the heat on when you lowered the temperature instead of just turning off.

The value

The young lady that be there around 4-5am has a bad attitude, I asked her was the coffee fresh because last time I was there it tasted burnt meaning it was old and she had the biggest attitude thought I said cold and came from around the desk grabbed two cups placed one under the hot water canister and one under the tea canister and said it’s hot and all with a complete disgusting attitude and that wasn’t even my concern, this was Thursday morning 2/20/25

The location was great easy on and off expressway. Way to modern for an old lady like me but the staff was very informative and kind. It was so nice I almost checked out late. The whole experience was great. I especially nice the way there were amply electrical outlets and nice lighting. Fit the bill and was a pleasant surprise. A respite I needed during a very stressful time. Oh one more thing nice that you could walk to good food, too. Thank you.

Booking.com sent me a confirmation but it wasn't booked once I got to the hotel. Nevada at the front desk tried everything she could to get in touch with them but basically got blown off. I appreciated her efforts. I had to book a room through the hotel, and Nevada made sure she kept one available in case I wanted to stay. She was great!!!

Everything was great!

The hotel is fairly new, the place was very clean, the room was perfect for a solo traveler. I liked that I had access to streaming services on the TV,and hotels need to move in that direction. They had a decent breakfast for patrons.

The prices of grocery items, i.e., snacks and drinks, were kind of high.

The staff, and location were great. Nice to have breakfast available in the morning as well.

The room was a little small, the lack of closets sucked to be honest. While there was space to hang up our clothes who wants to look at all that hanging out there in the open.

The property was very clean and had a nice,new, upbeat vibe. They had a small convenience area to grab drinks and light snacks. There was a really nice breakfast in the morning that included freshly made pancakes and sausages and scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt etc. The front desk staff were wonderful. Friendly, helpful and efficient, The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely choose Tru again

Soap in the shower and the sinks.

You need electrical outlets in the back parking lot to charge bass boats. We make several trips a year( 4-5 weeks a year) but we won't be back because there's only one outlet by the back door and we need several outlets. Our last trip weed had 4 boats and and reserved 4 rooms with friends and family.
