Quirky decor in this studio unit in the historic Palm Beach Hotel. Fish-themed wallpaper and lots of ceramic cats. Fun! Very comfortable bed. Dehumidifier a nice touch (if noisy). Unit really doesn’t have any place to sit and eat, but as we ate out every meal this wasn’t an issue.

Didn’t love the fragranced air freshener (I am sensitive to scents).

The parking was very convenient with this property. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. location was perfect as it’s near the beach and at night a quiet area yet close to worth Avenue for shopping and a short drive from downtown west palm beach. I love the outside court area. very relaxing.

the building is a bit out dated in some aspects however it is cozy and holds its palm beach charm.

Great newly renovated room, beautiful wallpaper and furniture, WiFi was good - host had Owner network and Guest network- if you need super fast one just ask for Owner network pass. Tv has many channels and free Netflix and Hulu which is a bonus.

Unit was designed for looking good in pictures and not reality. Microwave mounted higher than top of my head and couldn't even see in it. Same for kitchen cabinet. Lacked small table and chairs to eat, despite the mini kitchen. Low stool placed by glass desk looked designed to be used as a vanity, but mirror mounted up high if that was main purpose. Attempted to use it with a laptop, but there was no chair with a back to sit comfortably. Space in unit taken up by shelving to display figurines and fake books instead of functional furniture. Had to report seeing/ killing multiple roaches. Overall, disappointing.

The location of this studio is great, it is 10 min walk from the beach, it is close to restaurants and a grocery store. The valet parking is a plus since parking is challenging at times on Palm Beach. The checkin and out is quick and the building security is good. As for the room, we appreciated the small refrigerator, the small Kuerig, the sink and some cups and silverware.

Bottom line, the room is uncomfortable and we had a tough time sleeping. The window A/C made the room cold and damp/almost wet. Since the A/C is right above the bed, it was impossible to sleep with it on as it is noisy and blowing right on you. It needs to be serviced since the humidity in the room was awful, and the little de-humidifier couldn't keep up. There also is no place to put a small suitcase and no dresser or drawers for clothes. If you are staying more than one night, this is problem. The closet is small but did have some hangers, ,but most summer clothing doesn't need a hanger. The room seems unfinished, mirror in bath is not hung, shower seems unfinished but useable. There are only 2 hooks in the room so if you go to the beach you have nowhere to hang towels. We discovered week old?onion rings and sauce in the microwave when we opened it to use. Maybe servicing the A/C, re-arranging the bed to the other side would help, and clearing off the fake books and cat curios to free up the wicker shelf unit would work as a dresser. just some thoughts,

The location is the only decent thing about this property it looks decent in the photos, but it is staged differently for the photos versus the actuality of the situation

Didn’t like anything about it. The only thing redone in that property is the lobby. As soon as the elevator door is open, we realized that we were in for a bad time as decrepit as the elevator looks. Getting off the elevator we were greeted by the strong strong smell of mold and a paint job that looks straight out of the shining. The whole property is severely molded due to several AC units in the hallways that drip water onto the carpeted floor as well as leaky AC units in the room. They have attempted to add dehumidifiers to combat all the AC condensate, but it is nowhere near enough when the carpet is literally wet you can’t walk around barefoot. It feels like a child stage this room. The kitchen items were out of like a college frat party. There was reusable cups that were aluminum, but had severe amounts of residue inside and outside the cup. The mini fridge was not clean and all of the cleaning supplies that they should be using were just an open closet Leaving us with absolutely no space for any of our personal items outside of just leaving them on the floor next to the bed, no closet or even a little nook to place your luggage. I could go on and on about some of the detail in this room. I did not feel safe with the front door. I had to push my body weight onto it to get it to latch properly and there was no manual hooked door lock, just an electronic key and deadbolt, both electronic nothing manual to make me feel like I could lock the room safely. We did not end up staying in this room within five minutes of looking at it, but we decided to come downstairs and check out the staff at the front desk was incredibly apathetic and told us there was nothing they could do and we would need to contact the host. We contacted the host but did not hear from them for more than 12 hours when we did hear from them they offered us a room, the same property to which I explained to her as an asthmatic I cannot stay on that property due to the severe issues with air quality.
