Great location to shopping and attractions and convenient to the interstate. Also, the room was very nice and spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean!! The pool and fitness center were nice and the food and drinks in the restaurant and bar were good!!

Only negatives: The elevators were tore up the last 3 days and was hard to navigate to and from the 5th floor with heavy luggage due to having 2 recent knee surgeries. The vending machine on our floor appeared to malfuntion as several can drinks fell out at one time and the diet cokes didn't taste right as if they were old. Still really enjoyed the visit!!

A great location for everything. Ocean front balcony room was nice. Also a full size frig was great. Rooms recently redone. Comfortable beds. Staff was pretty responsive to any issues.

Although a stove - no pots or pans. I had to upgrade rooms when I found out that regular oceanfront is on ground floor. In order to have a true ocean front you need to be 2nd floor or higher, so upgraded to room with kitchenette. Hotel needs updating in public area - carpeting bad, furniture, etc. No outdoor tiki bar at the pool, even though advertised. But the inside bar is ok and the staff is very good.

This is, by far, one of our favorite places to stay when we go to Daytona. It’s far enough down the road from all the action to allow the peace I’m looking for when we visit, yet a short drive to get in on the action if we so choose. They are one of the few that have direct beach access and the pool was open. Lots of hotels are still under renovation. Traders restaurant is off the lobby and you get a drink voucher for everyone in your party over 21. I’m a heavy coffee drinker. I went downstairs to ask for extra coffee for the room and the staff was sweet enough to give me a small bag with enough to finish our stay. Speaking of staff, they were so friendly and personable. While they are quick to get you checked in and provide their services, you never feel rushed. We always get an oceanfront with kitchenette. I’ve yet to be disappointed.

This isn’t a complaint. Like most hotels, they are a non smoking property. Some will provide a smoking area, this property does not. Walking to the beach or to your car to have a smoke was a bit of an inconvenience. Would be nice to have a designated smoking space away from the common areas. Aside from that, it was a great stay.

There was a gentleman working the front desk and he was not the best. We had another guest enter our room at 1am mistakenly because they were given keys to our room. When we went down to let them know what happened the next morning, this gentleman simply said “yeah I know”. There was no apology or offer to do anything about it, nothing. Let me say, it wasn’t horrible or even very bad, it was just in bad taste how this incident was responded to. There were 1 or 2 smaller incidents but overall it was a good stay.

Rooms were very nice and bed sleep comfortable

I was very upset about my vehicle being towed when my parking pass was on the dash but with the paper being soooo thin and when I opened my door to get out of my car for the night wind blew it to floor of car, so tow service did not take time to go inside and ask if owner was staying in hotel. It cost me $222.48 plus taxi to go to tow area of $25.00. Nights prior to rough wind I always had my parking pass on the dash of my vehicle and Saturday night wind was real bad and I told all how it must of gotten blown off to the floor of car but seemed no one cared.

Location was decent, walking distance to the grocery store, gas station, and some souvenir places. The hotel itself was great and I'd definitely stay again. Bonus was the happy hour free drinks (they do need to add more to the menu such as beer) Housekeeping you do have to request, but those ladies take pride in their work. The lady who checked us in was friendly, but could tell she wasn't a fan of her job. The young lady on second was phenomenal.

That our room on the 5th floor, the tv kept getting shut off due to a breaker issue, calling down to the front desk over 3 times a day was not fun. I finally got our room switched our last night there which was an upgraded room, but I should have been switched after the first 3 complaints. I didn't like that you had to pay extra for breakfast, they could definitely use a hot tub and open their tiki bar. The indoor restaurant is very unreasonable on their drink prices and don't put enough in them for the price they charge.

The property was in better condition than the update from Nov 2023. There was cable in our room and the rooms were renovated very nicely. We had oceanfront balcony room and the view was amazing and worth the price. The beach access was available from the back of the building and was a quick easy walk from the hotel. The pool always looked nice and clean and the restaurant was easily accessible.

One problem was there was only one working elevator but that still wasn’t a big issue for us. And we did have to change rooms bc our first room had very low water pressure on the cold side which wasn’t a problem for my husband that’s bald but for me with longer hair it took twice as long to rise. But the staff was very helpful with offering us a new room just across the hall with the same amazing view.

It was very clean, I loved that at night you can not hear other people talking or making noises. Great location close to the beach.

I wish they would extend their pool hours. Pool closed at 10:30. Some people like me like to swim at night just to chill and relax. Also, we have difficulty finding towels for the pool so we had to request them from the front desk constantly. They do not take cash as a form of payment. I understand that they need a credit card on file but some of us prefer to pay in cash even if I have to put my credit card on file for anything else.

Nice pool and view. Rooms are comfortable and look recently renovated but they have lots of unfinished things that need fixed. We can enjoy the pool while waiting on rooms to be ready.

Staff at the front desk or independent family owners who run this Best Western are not very friendly and there's no sense of urgency. No hello, no thank you for your business etc. They tell you they will call you when rooms are ready but they never do. We've stayed here 3 times as we live in Florida and it's always the same. The rug in the bar/breakfast and dining room is so dirty it's off putting. 😫 And one elevator hasn't worked for a long time.
