Location and value for the money. As always Tyler is super nice and accommodating. This stay he switched me from the first floor to the second floor. Considering the fact that the hotel was booked I didn’t want to be under a family with kids running around. I have stayed here many times over the last few years and will continue to stay especially since your front desk staff is so nice.

Could use more pillows and the AC is super noisy. I have dined at the Mexican restaurant twice in the last month. Both times they screwed up our dinner. While the food is tasty, first time my taco platter came out stone cold. Second time, my boyfriend’s papas platter was missing the beef barbacoa? Had to send it back, it was only, French fries, beans, cheese and meat kinda hard to not notice that the beef was not there. Dinner was a nearly $60 tab with a 20% tip added for two dinners.

The Wi-Fi is a problem. It needs a big disclaimer before you book. I wouldn't have booked, had I understood what they do. As nearly as I can tell, they can't support the number of devices for their capacity of guests. Even when everyone's asleep their devices keep their "dibs" so I couldn't get on (or even a "sorry, at capacity" message) with either of my devices, having arrived at night. Since I had no cell service from inside my room, I couldn't plan out my next day. The issue is solvable and short of that, they shouldn't gain bookings by advertising "free wifi" at all. The difference in gains is the cost of the solution.

My only hopes when searching for a hotel are safe, clean, and quiet. I’m happy to say The Oasis provided all of the above at a great rate in a great location. The hotel staff were accommodating to my requests. I had no issues with noisy neighbors. Other reviews mentioned a loud AC unit and I will agree it isn’t the quietest. The bed was a touch too firm for me personally, but the pillows were good and I had no issues sleeping. The hotel is outdated, but clean. There is a restaurant within the hotel, and more food options are a short walk or drive, including Starbucks and Taco Bell. I was working in Joshua Tree and was only a 16 minute drive to my location from the hotel. I checked in on Sunday night and stayed through Tuesday morning. I was located on the top floor, furthest room away from the elevator near the stairs (Room 250). I would definitely stay here again should I make a trip back to the area.

We just like the fact that the location is good, nearby stores and restaurants and centrally located by the highway not far from Joshua Tree National Park which was our visit destination. They did upgrade our room to make up for the mistake they made during check-in (they gave us a room originally where a person was still checked in there).

They originally gave us a room where someone was still checked in there. How could the front desk would not know that someone has not checked out yet? Glad we didn't get to see a naked person in there or got shot for entering the room. The upgraded room provided in return for their check-in mistake has a hair dryer that was broken and it started to smoke, so I had to unplug it and reported it to a cleaning staff I saw on the hallway.

I stayed 12/27&12/28/24 and the evening staff was absolutely amazing. I wish I remembered his name to give him some credit. Based on google reviews I didn't have high hopes but our room was clean, spacious, the hot tub and pool were in working order. Everything was good minus the room having a bit of a smell when we first arrived. They had a restaurant on site as well but we didn't try it. Can walk to the grocery store/dollar store next door for anything you might need. Close to the entrance of Joshua tree or the 49 palms hike

slight smell when we first got to the room.

Gordon allowed me to check in early for an additional $20, and then went over and above by showing me physically three different rooms so I could choose one with a good view. The room was spacious and clean, with a pool and mountain view. Quiet. Bed very comfortable. Very close to the less-known and less crowded national park entrance.

The only thing that could have been better was the carpeting throughout the common areas. Room carpeting was good, but hallways and elevator really needed changing. Not a big deal.

The gentleman working the front desk was very polite and accommodating. I had no doubts checking into my room and had enjoyed my stay.

I had no issues with the property; however, my curtains did not cover the entirety of the window. The curtains are on sliders and meet each other in the middle of the window. Since they meet each other in the middle, they do not overlap one another and leaves a gap of space that leads to a view of the outside pool area. When it is dark outside, it is very easy to look inside a well-lit building and I felt that my privacy was compromised.

I have stayed here before but I started going to the Holiday Express down the street instead because they offered breakfast. However, if you factor in the cost that is some costly breakfast and the rooms aren’t that much nicer!

My only criticism and it is minor is better blackout curtains, better toiletries supplied, no body wash, terrible soap and only one shampoo no conditioner.

Pleasantly surprised by the room size and layout. Knowing the Hotel was not a newer location we kept expectations modest, yet we enjoyed our stay quite a lot. The room was quiet and close to the restaurant.

Had planned on eating there upon arrival, did not know the restaurant was closed on Monday. Furniture is dated which is okay, stains on the carpeting probably could have been dealt with.

Location and the layout. The front desk staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. They made us feel comfortable and truly appreciated. Room was clean and very well maintained.

My only issue was the ice machine being out of order, but with that said it is just something that happens. Looked like it just had stopped working and it is probably already working again now.
