Our room was more spacious than we expected and had a wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean from the living area and balcony. The room was tastefully decorated and furnished, and the furniture was comfortable. Everything worked. Breakfast, while not fancy, was very good. The coffee is excellent! There are indoor and outdoor seating options for breakfast. Restaurants and shops on Prospect St. are just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Some aspects of the decor, such as the wood trim on the bathroom mirror and the refrigerator shelves, were a bit worn and "tired". More fruit and a greater variety of pastries and breads would improve the breakfast.

I liked the room size, view, how clean the room was, and the size of the bed. I liked that when our TV wasn't working, the staff came and tried to figure out the issue.

Our TV in the room didn't work and the bathroom was only big enough for one person at a time. With the cost of the room, you figured parking was included, but it wasn't.

I love the location most of all. The top sights in La Jolla are within walking distance and that's with a 5 year old. The Sea Cave, Childrens Pool, La Jolla Cove, Shell Beach is across the street (get up early to explore the tide pools!), the restaurants and stores are all within a few minutes walk. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the breakfast is delicious with an ocean view- great way to start your day. Free waters and sodas are available which my kids loved. Parking is easy. Wish we could stay longer. Thanks Pantai Inn!!

Loved it all

The location of Pan Thai was across the beach in La Jolla and down the hill from all the restaurants and shops. Also a short drive from Torrey Pines as well as Pacific and mission beaches.

Here’s the thing: we had three incidents with homeless. The First was waking up and finding a transient, obviously under the influence laying on our front patio couch. The manager quickly got him to leave. Later, this same person was seen standing in the street in front of our room, smoking a cigarette and staring through our window. The next night, the transient took two of the cushions from the patio furniture and went next-door took one or more other cushions and disappeared down to the beach. We alerted management again. If that had not happened, we would have given the top rating.

Great location across the street from the beach access! Easy walk to local restaurants and the La Jolla Cove. The room is very clean and they have an excellent breakfast on a beautiful patio. Plenty of complimentary drinks anytime you want one. Staff are very friendly and one thoughtful gentleman filled my water bottle with ice and water before I had head out on a 2+ hour drive back to LA. He is a saint!

Our room was on the ground level next to the entry door for the building. So every time someone had to unlock that door it sounded like they were entering our room. Otherwise, mostly a quiet location.

Location was wonderful. Steps from the beach. Breakfast was nice and stayed open till 10am for late sleep in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved that little refrigerator had a freezer section. Coffee and tea available all day was lovely. Was easy to walk around to places to eat and not take the car out. Parking at property was convenient but we were charged extra for it.

Property was a little pricey but don't know what others near by charged. We paid about $10 for each beer, which would cost $3 at home. My husband thought he left his flip flops and when I called, lady said she'd check with housekeeping and would call me back. She never did.

It was a lovely, beautiful place to rest after long excursions out on the beach! The decor was amazing and everything felt so comfortable! Being able to look at the waves from the patio was just lovely and there was so much to do within walking distance! Plus the readily available waters kept us hydrated and energized!

The only thing that would really make it better is either having an outdoor shower or at least foot rinse station because it was a little difficult going back to our place without tracking sand inside.

- Great location, just across the street from the ocean and very close to the town (bars, restaurants, shops) - The one-bedroom suite was so spacious and comfortable with a queen bed + a murphy bed in the living room (the little things like the free chocolates on the bed added a nice touch) - The bathroom came with really nice toiletries that didn't dry out my skin/hair - The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave, fridge, stove, electric kettle, coffee-maker etc.) if you prefer to cook your own meals - They offer free unlimited sodas/pop, water, cookies and chocolates, as well as complimentary buffet style breakfast - They also offer free onsite parking and laundry services - Balinese decor throughout the grounds, lobby, and rooms All in all, great value for money (especially by North American standards where everything costs extra)

- The room had a bit of a musty smell as we entered, which went away after the first day (maybe we just got used to it?), but overall I felt that the room could do with a good deep clean - The bathroom is very small and shower area is open, so the water spills over to the rest of the washroom and makes the floor very wet (the shower curtains don't really work in this instance)

Nice property, most rooms offer sea view and are very spacious. We booked a one-bedroom initially, and then we wanted to extend our stay and moved to a studio. Both had balconies overlooking the sea. Toiletries are good, and beds were comfy. The bathrooms needed some updating, but things worked. We didn't use the kitchen but appliances were new and everything was very clean. Breakfast was good! Maybe some more fresh fruit options would have been nice, but again it was overall quite good.

The location was perfect and our family suite was ocean front. Beds were comfortable and the suite was larger than we expected. It was cute and nicely furnished, the bathroom was modern and it had a good sized kitchen. We enjoyed hanging out with the fireplace and a cup of coffee. The breakfast was tasty and satisfying and the menu changed just slightly every day. It was a bonus to have complimentary water, coffee, tea and cookies 24/7. The outdoor seating on the grounds was very comfortable and pleasant too. You can tell that the property is well managed and maintained. We really enjoyed the spa-like feel and peacefulness of the property. And the staff...everyone we met was so kind and nice...front desk, bar tender, kitchen staff, and cleaning staff.

Loved the bathroom shower but the floor got wet, just make sure to use the floor mats. We also wish there was a floating shelf or a little more counter space to store our toiletries. And, we wish we had booked a few extra days.
