This Super 8 was clean and had mostly friendly staff. When I booked, asked for a king size bed. I finished my booking inside the lobby and Booking.com said there were 2 left. But the girl at the desk on December 28th said she didn’t have any. She charged $11 more for a room with 2 beds. Was I played? Was I scammed? All I can say is we were super tired and wanted to get to bed. This is a Wyndham property and over the past few years, we had stopped staying with them—-all the Wyndham motels. They had declined in maintenance and cleanliness. (Roaches in some). Maybe we should give them another shot because this property has someone in charge who cares.

Being charged extra for a 2-bed room when I felt they really had the king size I wanted.

The room was really clean. It even smelled fresh. The young man at the desk was very helpful. He came to our room and fixed our TV remote. The welcome book had great info for local places to eat and even a free coupon to use to retrieve a free piece of petrified wood. Loved it!

At breakfast, the waffle maker is in need of replacement. Breakfast was not ready at 6, but the coffee was! 😁

We loved how quite the room was. We loved how safe we felt at this property. We loved the interior hall access to the rooms. We loved the breakfast. It was nothing elaborate, but it was nice and adequate - tea, coffee, creamers, juice, milk, cereal, toast, butter, jam, bagels, cream cheese, and a pancake machine. Sounds odd, but it's loaded with the batter, and makes them hot right then and there as you press the button. The area was well supplied and very clean.

Room 201: the bathroom tile was well worn, and the toilet was very low. Due to the age of the decor, the "feel" is that it's not that clean. However, everything was very clean and orderly.

I love the quietness of this motel. I love the added safety of the interior hall to access the rooms. I love having control of cooling my room with the box coolers. If the switching on and off keeps you awake, be sure to bring ear plugs. I appreciated the breakfast. It was nothing big or special, but it was more than adequate - tea, coffee, milk, juice, cereal, bagels, toast, jam, cream cheese, butter, and pancakes. There was a toaster and microwave as well. It was very nice to have a little something before hitting the road, and the area was kept well supplied and clean.

Room 207: The toilet could have flushed better. Didn't matter what was in the bowl; it didn't flush well at all. Also, the mattress was severely worn on the right side, closest to the bathroom.

Clean quiet and comfortable. Felt safe leaving my car fully packed in the parking lot. The gentleman behind the counter was polite efficient and very accommodating for me and my dog.

Free breakfast was nothing to write home about. The bed was much taller than my dog or myself would prefer. My dog kept getting something sharp stuck in her paws in the “pet exercise area”. Couldn’t tell at night if it was goats head or cactus needles or something like that; but we avoided it.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the shower worked properly. I could not determine how to turn on the heater, but the staff came immediately and set it up for me. The internet was fast. The room was quiet. Breakfast was a little on the skimpy side, but adequate. This motel had everything good that you would expect from an American motel near an Interstate Highway.

This hotel was chosen as a one night stop on a long road trip we were doing. I chose it because of the proximity to The Petrified Forest NP, and the fact it was walking distance to places to eat that night. There was plenty of parking, and the breakfast choices were good.

The walk to our upstairs room - in the corridor it smelt like bacon had been cooking, and this was after 5pm. Only a little thing but a bit of a funny smell.

The receptionist, Neil, was AMAZING. We had a disabled person in our party and he was so very kind from the very beginning to make sure we were accommodated well. Some of the best customer service I have ever had in my life was from Neil

The waffle makers had a tendency to burn the waffles but other than that it was okay

The bed was comfortable with good pillows.

The room was very cold when we arrived and the heater was noisy all night long. Seemed like a pretty outdated setup and was disappointed the room had no heat when we arrived. It was cold a cold evening outside !

The staff was extremely friendly and helped with suggestions on where to eat. The room was quiet.

The room was small..we had trouble getting our electronics to stay plugged in. The toilet was low and moved when standing up.
