Lovely comfy bed, we slept very well. Lots of tea and coffee provided in the room. Really lovely breakfast, lots of choice and plenty of it. Really great Full English with perfectly cooked poached eggs. Would happily stay again. Seafront location. Hosts were very friendly and very helpful.

Room was advertised as having a 'garden view' but looked out on to the fire escape.

Great location, friendly welcome, lovely breakfast full English which they were happy to customise, choice of lovely fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal. Its an old building so the rooms are quirky old with high ceilings, all nice comfy beds, bathroom clean, everything you need with tea and coffee. We didn't have a sea view just looking over the back fire escape but it was OK the beach and sea is so close if you want to see it. Its a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars and a great base for visiting Brighton and Chichester. We got the bus to Brighton which took a while and one day the train which was quite reasonable and much quicker. The train station is not too far to walk to. We had a lovely break and enjoyed our stay very much.

Martine and Jane gave us a wonderful warm welcome. Our room was upgraded to the ground floor, which was greatly appreciated. The room was delightful, bright, spacious and comfortable with all facilities, e.g. tea making, soap, towels etc. The breakfast was delicious. Tea coffee, toast, plenty choices of jam honey, yoghurt plain and flavoured, large fresh fruit bowl, many choices of cereal. The cooked full English breakfast was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection. One of the best we have ever eaten. The Guest House was situated along the sea front with a spectacular view of the sea from the front door. All in all the Marine Guest House was the perfect find. A most enjoyable stay in Worthing.

Location and very friendly easygoing hosts. Due to my late arrival a self checkin was offered which was very helpful and easy. I booked a single room and it was lovely and spacious. Plenty of coffee and tea in the hospitality tray in the room. Lots of different kinds of fresh fruit choices at breakfast.

It’s not something the hosts can change but I had very noisy upstairs neighbours and as it is a Victorian building the floorboards kept waking me up till after 1 am. When my neighbours finally fell asleep one was snoring so loud I woke up again. Dust on the lampshades and picture frames, but again a minor detail.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bed, chairs, coat hangers, tables, bedside tables, side lights, a television, and even a kettle for complimentary tea and coffee! The bathroom was immaculate too, with a large mirror, top-quality sink, toilet, and shower. The complimentary breakfast had everything you could need, including toast, fruits, yoghurts, and a really filling full English breakfast, which you could customise yourself! As vegetarians, we were delighted with the amazing vegetarian sausages. It was perfect! The location of the guest house was ideal, right on the seafront. We couldn't have asked for anything better. And finally, our hosts! Thank you, Jane and Martyn, for the exceptional and kind hospitality during our stay. We felt incredibly welcomed. You have a gorgeous and historic guest house that you can both be very proud of. Thank you for helping me out with my interview too. I think it’s fair to say that those cufflinks were the secret to me landing the job, so thanks again!

There is nothing that we can think of that was negative at all, it is exactly what we asked for, and more.

I have nothng but praise for the Marine View Guest House, and would recommend it to everyone. The room was thoughtfully set up and the bed comfortable, heating very good and shower very easy to use (I don't like struggling with alien showers) Jane and Martyn helped me with carrying everything, and shepherded me across the road, as I was having difficulty with walking at the time. Finally the full English breakfast - my choice although there were lots of other options - was excellent.

Such lovely hosts. Very friendly, explained facilities easily, lovely to have tea, coffee etc in room with replaceable extras in hallway if required more. Breakfast options were vast, nicely laid out and all fresh.

We knew on booking that there would be stairs but unfortunately my husband found them difficult. To our amazement we were offered a ground floor upgrade which made the stay extra special. Hosts were extremely accommodating.

landlord and landlady were extremely friendly and helpfull, they explained all sights around Worthing and where to have nice dinner. I would enjoy if all landlords were like that. On top the guest house is immediately along the beach, one crosses the street and is there. Perfect place along the seaside

Well - not connected to the guest house and not to Worthing, rather about England itself. Public transport or other public facilities are not in the state, one would expect from a wealthy country... This summer I visited England 2 times, on each and every occasion, train service was close to failure.

Comfortable double bed. Very quiet. I got a call to say my room was vailable early. As I needed to have lie down. Breakfast phenomenal. Weather great for June Extra toilets on basement and 1st floor if caught short. Much choice Restaurants. Great promenade

Instructions not available to work storage heater nor TV. But it not matter- as sleep more important.

The house is in a great location, right on the seafront and close to shops and the station. Our hosts were lovely. They made myself and my young daughter feel very welcome. Lovely room which was on the smaller size but had everything we needed. Great selection for breakfast and great communication. would happily stay here again next time we are in the area.
